Aldrif glanced at the clock it was nearly four in the morning and a lot has happened this night. It was going to be a sleepless night for her not by choice really. Before she could step foot into her bedroom one of men had came to her telling there had been a murder. And not just anyone had been killed it was Hogun who had been murdered. Which she found odd as far as she knew everyone in Asgard liked the Warrior’s Three or tolerated them at most. But no one ever seemed to have enough ill will towards them to kill one of them.
She followed the man out of her castle headed to a closed off area. Before she got to the crime scene she could smell two things puke and lots of blood. Two thoughts entered her mind after that. Either Hogun got sick before he was killed which was unlikely or whoever found him got sick over the sight of his murder. Aldrif stopped the man and told him to point out where Hogun’s body was she didn’t want him getting sick while she looked over the body. She told him to make sure no one came near she didn’t need anyone getting in the way.
Leaving the man behind she made her way to the body. Before she reached the body she could see why everyone had gotten sick. She crouched down near the body looking it over whoever had done this wasn’t human. No human could rip a body apart like this. While looking at the body and the area for clues as to what did this she found claw marks on the wall and foot prints. Her many years as a hunter told her those were wolf prints question was which one?
Leaving the area Aldrif set off on her trip across the realms to speak to the wolf gods. Then she sought out Fenris to make sure he was still where he had been locked up so long ago. The only thing she got out of that was his little test of her putting her arm in his mouth. Long story short he was enraged to find out that she was much faster than he was and word would get out about it. After that she returned home had a group sent out to clean up and move Hoguns body. With that taken care of she sent word for Amora. While waiting for her to get here Aldrif realized the only wolf not accounted for was Sif. She had not seen her in many days and had no idea what was going on with the war goddess.

At least the messenger had been polite and knocked upon Amora's door. The last one had simply let himself in and received a face full of lightning for his troubles. Four in the morning was never a good time to get up, but the enchantress knew that this had to be serious, otherwise the All-Mother would not have requested her presence so early in the morning. Wiping the sleep from her eyes, Amora looked at the empty side of her bed, wishing she had an excuse to linger just a moment longer, but Kaileena was away this evening, needing to attend to her own duties.
It didn't take her long to get presentable; Mjolnir's magic always managed to make her look refreshed and presentable no matter the situation. Amora found Aldrif in the throne room. She wasn't psychic, but she could sense the woman's mood almost immediately. Something serious had happened, what it had been, the thunder goddess wasn't sure. Reaching out with her magic and her senses, she could sense no trouble or invasion in Asgard, but still, something was wrong.
"You summoned me, All-Mother? How may I be of service to you this early morning?" Amora asked, kneeling before the redhead and laying Mjolnir gently upon the marble floor.

Aldrif pulled herself from her thoughts when Amora had finally shown up. Rising from the throne she made her way over to the thunder goddess. “Hogun’s been murdered to put it lightly.” which was an understatement but it got the point across. “By a wolf and the only one I haven’t been able to question is Sif. Who I want you to find and bring back here.” she rubbed her forehead before speaking again “I’d go myself but people will be waking up soon and word will spread about what happened. I need to stay here and keep people from panicking or doing stupid things.”
“I know where she went.” Heimdall said having already heard the news about Hogun. “Where?” Aldrif asked looking at guarding of the bifrost. “She’s gone home. Vanaheim to kill our parents.” This caused the All-Mother to raise an eyebrow “My father didn’t treat her very kindly knowing what she was. Mother wasn’t much better with her.” he explained “You don’t seem very bothered by this.” she questioned. “I have no love for them because of what they did to her. But I will get Amora close to the house so she can bring Sif back.” with that he left heading back to his post waiting for Amora so he could teleport her to Vanaheim. "Bring her back as soon as you can." Aldrif told her before letting her go.

"That is hardly putting it lightly, All-Mother," Amora stated, the shocked expression on her face clear. Fandral was the swashbuckler and ladies' man of the group, and Volstagg the jovial fat man who surprised everyone in battle, but Hogun? He was not a man to be taken down easily in battle. He was called the Grim for a reason. Even Amora knew better than to mess with him too often. She also knew that he preferred hunting alone with only his mace as protection, and he always came back triumphant, so for him to be killed in such a manner.... that was unthinkable.
"Be careful, All-Mother. The remaining warriors will likely want answers. Though it is by your own choice, I would still refrain from harming them. Volstagg and Fandral are loved by the people. Reason with them and explain that Hogun's death will be handled properly." She refrained from saying that the man would be avenged, for Amora did not know the entire circumstances, and such a word would likely bring more violence and rage when she would bring Sif back. "I will retrieve her, All-Mother," she stated before following Heimdall.
"Did she truly do it, Watcher?" she asked him before being transported to Vanaheim. Once in that realm, the thunder goddess set off to find Sif and hopefully to prevent more murders. She wasn't sure what the outcome would be, but she hoped and prayed that Sif would cooperate.

“You would have prefered I tell you he was ripped apart like a stuffed animal in a dog’s mouth? What I said earlier was putting it lightly.” Aldrif stated to the shocked goddess as she herself began thinking of what she would need to do in order to keep the other two warrior’s from going off and causing more problems. That’s why she wanted Amora to deal with this on her own.
“I may sound cold but I’m not heartless Amora. I will give them answers to what I know. But I will not allow them to go off in a rage filled rampage across the realms looking for Sif.” That also meant Amora shouldn’t do the same thing either. She didn’t want all the rulers from the realms showing up at her door angry over the mess made by an mad thunder goddess.
“Yes. But I don’t think her actions are her own. We both know Sif would never kill Hogun and there has been a abnormal time when my sight has been blocked when I’ve tried to find her.” He hadn’t reported it because it had happened so fast she was there then disappeared then reappeared again. But he thought it was worth telling now if it kept his sister from being killed.
It wouldn’t be hard for Amora to find Sif all she would have to do was follow the screams of pain coming from a man in the woods nearby. The man was chained between two trees by his arms stripped naked and bloody. His body was covered in lash marks and his mouth was just as bloody if not more so. He hadn’t been hit in the face all the blood was from having his teeth ripped out. Sif too was naked and covered in blood none of it was hers and none of her clothes were there. Reaching out she grabbed her father by his hair pulling his head up to look at her “What’s the matter father? Got nothing to stay now?” she reached in and pulled out another tooth causing him to scream once more.

"No, I would not," Amora answered, knowing better than to argue or go into semantics with Aldrif. Hogun was dead, that was all that mattered. They hadn't been friends or even acquaintances, but once this was all over with and the matter settled, Amora would make certain to light a candle for him as he journeyed to Valhalla. "At least he died on his feet, weapon in hand. There are worse ways to go." That was all that needed to be said. She knew how warriors had the superstitious fear of dying in bed, of sickness, or of old age. Any of those deaths were thought to guarantee a pitiful afterlife in Hel. "I will bring her back, whether it's willingly or not."
Amora listened to what Heimdall had to say. Not many things could block his sight and it made the thunder goddess wary of what she might be getting into. "I will try my best not to harm her, but if she is under a spell or someone else controls her, I can not promise that I won't hurt her while trying to subdue her. But I swear that I will not kill her, Heimdall."
The scene that Amora came upon was a horrific one. She had never thought a man could scream like that; it was a sound filled with pain and terror, ending in a plea for it all to stop. Amora watched Sif torture her father. She looked the same, though her voice was different. Not only was it filled with cruelty and malice, but it was also not even remotely the same tone and tenor that the warrior woman usually spoke with. Having seen and heard enough, Amora stepped into the clearing. "Sif. The All-Mother requests your presence in Asgard immediately. I have been tasked with escorting you there. Whatever... disagreement... you have with your father can be concluded later." She made no effort to rescue or bring aid to the man. Once they were a distance away, a simple spell could easily free him and restore his teeth, but Amora was not about to provoke Sif unnecessarily.

Sif circled her father trying to decide what to do to him next she had so many ideas it was hard to chose just one. She stopped near a pile of things grabbing a bag she opened it and looked inside. A smile spread across her face before looking up at the chained man. “Oh you're going to love this one.” she walked over to stand in front of him “What was that saying Midguardings had…?” she pretended to think for a bit before answering “Ah, I know! Like rubbing salt in an open wound!” She her hand out of the bag that was full of salt and shoved the salt into his mouth digging her nails into his face to keep him for spitting the salt out as he thrashed about in pain.
Sif frowned when she heard the voice of someone interrupting her fun. All black eyes gazed on the blonde woman “Disagreement? Us? Far from it. I’m just showing my daddy what it was like for me when he did these things to me when I was a little girl. That’s all.” she walked back over to the pile and put the bag down “Okay so the salt is a new thing I wanted to try out.” she walked over to where her father was and hit him in the head so hard it knocked his head clean off his shoulders. “Don’t waste your time worrying about this.” She moved over to the blonde getting rather close no she wasn’t going to attack her. “I have a question for you. One you need to think hard on. You have the chance to save one soul.” She cocked her head to the side “Whose will it be? the parent’s or the warriors?”

Seeing Sif bearing black eyes made Amora hesitate, her mind racing to figure out just what was going on with the warrior goddess. It could be any number of things; possession, dark magic, the ember stone necklace... which was no longer around her neck. Sif had it when she had returned to earth and now something that powerful was missing. "It seems that you have misplaced your necklace, Sif. I thought you liked becoming a dragon." Well, at least that seemed to narrow the field of possible causes of her behavior.
"I know what your father did to you in the past. Kaileena told me. No child should have to go through that. But that does not mean you should visit upon him the same horrors. The Sif I know would not do such a thing." Not even when Amora tormented her in the worst ways possible did Sif ever attempt to do such things. She was always so levelheaded about handling abuse. What followed with the decapitation of the man cemented the idea that this was not Sif, at least not entirely. "Give me your name, creature. Give me your name and your reasoning for taking over my friend's body in such a manner." All right, so friend might have been exaggerating it a little, but Amora wanted to see if anything of the true Sif was inside and able to hear her.
"Choose one? And think hard on it?" Two souls were at risk. Again, Sif thought of magical rites and what spells required souls or blood to work. The father's soul and blood could work powerful magic simply by him being related to Sif, if she were the caster. Hogun not being saved could weaken the Warriors Three and provide equally powerful magic. Of course picking the father could make Sif go into a rage, thinking that Amora was favoring him over a fighting companion. Or... a thought bubbled up in Amora's head. Sif had not named the warrior's soul in question, so Amora had only assumed it was Hogun's. "What of your soul, Sif? Does it need saving?"

“The Sif you know is long gone and never coming back.” She told the blonde woman who didn’t seem all that happy that she had done such things to her own father. “Do you really think she would never do such things to her father if given the chance? Everything I’ve done here was pulled from her mind not mine.” She explained apparently she didn’t know Sif as well as she thought she did. She sneared “I have no name not everything needs to have one. The black sheep is easy pickings. She was so weak it was easy to claim her.” that was it because Sif was an outcast of outcasts.
“Is that such a hard thing to do?” Sif asked wondering if that was to hard a thing for Amora to do. Too much thinking apparently. “Her soul will be free!” The Angelus said as she landed near them. “It took me a long time to get a read on you you sneaky little bastard.” Sif hissed in reply before jumping at her only to get impaled in the chest by a sword of light causing her to scream in such pain before going limp with the sword still in her chest she fell to the ground unmoving.

Lightning crackled and danced both in Amora's eyes and along Mjolnir's surface. True, she and Sif had always had their differences, and perhaps before Ultron came and all these changes happened she would have been happy to see Sif gone for good, but it was no longer the case. "You lie, demon. I will cast you out and save her. Every being has dark thoughts, even myself. But refusing to act on them shows the strength and character of the being in question." Her words were true. Everyone, no matter how good or how charitable they were, had the occasional gruesome dark thought, be it just a brief glimpse or a well thought out plan of destruction. Amora had many and only acted out a few. "You truly are full of lies. Sif is not weak, creature. And I did not give you the right to call her by that title. Black sheep is my nickname for her, and certainly nothing like you is allowed to call her that."
The demon, creature, spirit, or whatever it was, was trying to goad Amora into anger, wanting to leave her open for an obvious attack. The goddess would not fall for such a thing, but readied herself to blast the demon into unconsciousness. Maybe then she could exorcize it and save Sif.
Her plans weren't needed however, as the Angelus appeared suddenly. The events that followed unfolded quickly, ending with Sif impaled upon the Angelus' sword. "No!" Dropping Mjolnir, Amora ran to the fallen warrior's side. Not caring if the creature was vanquished or not, the thunder goddess quickly removed the sword of light and conjured as fast as she could, praying that her magic could stop the bleeding in time. "Is the demon gone?" she asked between chants, holding her cape in one hand and using it to stop the bleeding while the other carved arcane symbols into the air. "Come now, little black sheep, you won't truly let such a pin prick defeat you. Perhaps you are not the warrior I thought you were." Amora hoped that by teasing Sif with that nickname, it would garner a reaction.

She ran. That was all the woman could do. It was purely by chance that she had seen her opportunity to escape from the Frost Giants, but she doubted it would be a long-lived one. Their bellows of rage and surprise were loud in her ears as she slipped from her chains and cell, running hellbent out of the castle, across the snowy plains, and into the nearby woods. Her clothes were tattered and torn; a simple green shift and boots that were meant for the summer and orchards of Asgard, not the winters on Jotunheim. But she did not dare to stop or hesitate to look back, knowing that they were likely right on her heels. Thiazi would not lose such a prize as her so easily. Thankfully, though the giants were fast, their size was their downfall. The woman, Idunn, was smaller than most Asgardians, allowing her to slip through the trees, while the giants had to smash their way through. Even then they had to be careful; she was only worth retrieving if she were brought alive. Yes, she would likely be punished and starved when they caught her, but perhaps by then Thor would arrive and rescue her.
Perhaps her foot slipped or the embankment she was on gave way, but the next thing Idunn knew, she was falling, tumbling through snow and air. She landed hard on the ground next to a man staring unseeing at her. It took her a moment to focus and realise that it was just a man's head, his mouth bloody and lacking teeth. She screamed, scrambling up and away. This was not Jotunheim. It was a forest, true, but everything was green and wild, as in late summer. One of the other nine realms, perhaps, but which one she did not know.
Still backpedaling from the gruesome display, Idunn fell into a clearing occupied by three women and a headless body tied to the trees. Had she been in a lesser state of shock, she would have likely been able to describe them all, but for now all she saw was two gathered around a naked woman covered in blood, a sword running through her belly. Hand flying to her mouth, Idunn squeezed her eyes shut, fighting to keep from retching. She should have never run. She should have stayed with the frost giants. At least then she would have stayed alive. Now she would likely be killed, carved up, and eaten. The fear was finally too much as the young goddess broke down into tears.

The Angelus used her powers to enhance Amora’s healing spells “It wasn’t a demon but a creature from the Darkness. Someone other than Hope is using its powers.” she explained but that wasn’t their problem but her’s and her warrior’s. It was what they were created for to destroy the Darkness. “I had hoped to have caught it before it could find another host and disappear again.” she looked at the headless body it was always a mess to clean up after the Darkness.
With Sif starting to come around Angelus decided to get rid of the body and head. Raising her hand she start to create fire but stop when she heard someone crying. Looking around she spotted the small blonde woman it made her wonder who she was and why she was crying. Sif only had a brother and Amora’s sister was MIA or a dragon no one really knew or cared where she was just like Loki. "Are you Sif's mother?" she asked the blonde because who else would be crying over the dead guy.
“More of a warrior then you think Thomora.” If she was going to call her little and a sheep Sif was going to call her Thomora a combo of Thor and Amora’s names. She started to get up then stopped when she realized something “Why am I naked and in your arms?” she never thought she’d get this close to Amora to be naked and alone with her. It was really weird because she has no idea what’s going on. “I hate to break up your awkward moment but you might want to put some clothes on her people are going to be showing up soon.” Angelus said looking over at the two "And what should be done about that?" she nodded over to the headless body.

"Is there anyway to prevent being possessed by this thing?" Amora asked. Anyone could be its next victim. "Or at the very least tell me there is a way, aside from the voice change and black eyes, to tell if the person has fallen victim to the Darkness' creature." She would rather there be a sort of early warning system instead of walking in on the thing having a bit of fun with its victims. Amora's gaze followed the Angelus' to the headless corpse. Sif may not have been on good terms with her father, but Amora didn't know how she would react to such a death.
Hearing the crying, the thunder goddess briefly turned towards the sound. The woman looked worse for wear in clothing that barely covered her ample chest. By the way she was dressed, Amora would have thought her to be a slave or perhaps a concubine, and the way she wept? Perhaps she would ask Sif if her father kept consorts in their home. How else would her amount of tears be explained, weeping over a dead man like that. Feeling Sif stir in her arms, Amora smiled. "Perhaps you are. Perhaps when you are healed we will spar and see who is more of a warrior. I promise to go easy on you." She checked her injury, finding it healing well. "You don't remember? We… You were not yourself, Sif. There has been…" Amora did not know how to break it lightly to Sif. "There have been murders. Hogun and your father. You were possessed and not of your right mind. The Angelus saved you though the wound she inflicted was grave. You are in my arms because I healed you."
Removing her cape, Amora gently wrapped it around Sif, giving her an improvised toga look. But, knowing she would not like it, Amora waved her hand, causing the blood to disappear and the cape to become something more to Sif's liking. "It is not my place to say what to do regarding that, but I suggest that we burn or bury the body."

Idunn paid the women no heed, not until one of them approached her. The young goddess looked up fearfully at the being encased in armor, wings unfurled, and forehead crowned with horns. Not wanting to be the next victim, she moved away. "Sif is my elder. I am of no relation to her. We are but friends. Why do you ask such a question? I know Thunder Red-Hair, lord Thor, wielder of Mjolnir. If you intend to harm his wife, that is foolish. He will crush your head in with his mighty hammer. Do not use me to gain his wife." Idunn didn't know why she babbled so, it simply happened when she was frightened. But perhaps it was not the best idea to threaten such dangerous people with violence.
"I will go back to Thiazi willingly. Do not kill me as you did the man. I have learned my lesson and he would be enraged if my flesh were to be spoiled. He will be pleased to have me returned whole and will justly reward you." She heard the two women further off talking, catching snippets of what was said. Confusion blossomed on her face as she heard one be called Sif. She must have heard them as their conversation made no sense. Sif was no warrior and the only sparring she ever did was in the bedroom with Thor as foreplay. This made no sense. Was it all some trick in order to break her spirit?

“The thing has been destroyed it’s not going to do anything to anyone.” Angelus explained so there won't be anymore of this happening again. “I’m surprised there was any signs of that thing being inside her.” It must have been young and unable to fully hide itself within a host. Something to ponder on at a later point when this mess was taken care of.
“Just because you have the hammer for a decade you think you can beat everyone. I got a lifetime on you but if you think you can just name the time and place.” The smirk on her face didn’t last long as she listened to what Amora told her. “I remember walking home from the mead hall and waking up in your arms.” She had killed Hogun? and her father she had no love for the man. But she did feel horrible about what had happen to Hogun they were good friends. “Do what you want with his body.”
“Whoa wait a second. First of all Thor was a blonde and he wasn’t married he was however a manwhore.” Angelus told the strange woman before she looked at the other two “I’m on it.” she created a fireball in her hand and threw it at the body as well as the head. When the fire hit the bodies they were engulfed in fire. There wouldn’t be anything left for anyone to find. “No one is going to send you back to anyone.” Sif said as she got up and made her way over to the two blondes.
“The blonde over there is the lady of lightning better known as Amora, old blue eyes is Sif shield maiden of Asgard and goddess of war. And you can call me Angelus or Dani the creator of the universe.” She offered Idunn a hand up “We’re all good girls no one is going to send you anywhere.” Sif looked at all of them "I'm so outnumbered here." she said realizing she was the only non blonde in the group.
