Midori was not going to admit it, but Jessica was right. As every update of Ultron progressed, it became harder and harder to beat him. Plans became more elaborate and involved. Right now, it would probably take an act of god to succeed. "I really must get me one of those cosmic cubes. Ruling the world sounds fun. And on my world, Howard Stark, who worked with the US Army on various super soldier projects, had Anthony Stark, who became Iron Man. He's a womanizer who drinks and I'm sure has a few children if he doesn't know about them already." She was curious to learn about any other differences, but now really wasn't the time to talk about such things. Maybe later when they had left the island.
"I don't know. I can't exactly predict how Ultron thinks. I'm not a telepath or technopath." Midori watched Jessica deal with the lone guard and, before she had slipped into the air vent completely, she tapped her foot and whispered "Be careful." Right then, no meat shield. But they would have the element of surprise at least.
Taking a deep breath, Midori entered the office, acting as if nothing had changed. Strucker and Viper were discussing things, looking over a map, and the later looked up when she entered. Midori gave a polite smile before settling herself behind a guard near Strucker, and intently flicking her eyes from Viper to the air vent. The woman nodded, though it could have been in response to a question her boss had asked. The knife she had palmed felt cold against her skin, and in that moment she realized they would have to improvise a plan they really had no idea about. She just hoped Jessica would make the first distracting move.

“I guess it doesn’t matter what gender Toni because they act the same in the end.” Jessica replied when Midori told her how the male Toni Stark was like on her earth. She just hoped that her Toni didn’t end up here where there could be another one the last thing they needed was two Starks that acted alike. This world probably couldn’t handle that much Stark.
“I don’t think a telepath’s powers work on a robot.” she said before she disappeared. She had heard what Midori said next but didn’t want to risk her voice carrying for the others to hear her so she didn’t say anything in return just kept going.
Finally reaching the spot she pulled the cover off as quietly as she could before dropping into the room. Before she could do anything a redheaded woman had appeared and told them about a new life they could have if they chose it. When she finished speaking Jessica slit Strucker’s throat. Asgard didn’t need him there. “Sooo who wants to go to Asgard?” she asked as if she didn’t just kill a man.

Midori had actually meant to do something when Jessica slid out of the vent, like perhaps distract the guards or put up some defensive measure, but when the face of Angela just appeared out of nowhere, she simply stood there in shock. Hell, she didn't even notice it when Jessica slit Strucker's throat.
"Aldrif is in charge of Asgard? I thought it would be at least Thor or Odin who still ruled. How the hell did that happen?" She looked around at everyone still in the room, mainly at Viper, who was at least from this world. In turn the HYDRA agents that remained were surprised that Midori could speak perfect English. As far as they knew, she was Japanese.
From the look Viper gave her, Odin had been the one ruling Asgard, so this was news to her as well. "Honestly, anywhere is better than here as far as living conditions. We'd just need to be careful around Aldrif. She's much more strict about things like behavior, following rules, and punishment." The last thing they needed was for Viper or Jessica to end up starting fights with whoever else decided to live on Asgard. "Where's the closest portal and should we take them along as well?" she asked, gesturing to the remaining agents. If the portal was close, they could use them as cannon fodder against the Ultrons. If it was a great distance, they'd either be a hinderance or useful in piloting whatever vessel got them here.

“Who the hell is Aldrif?” Jessica asked when she realized the younger woman knew the redheaded woman who had appeared. She looked down at Strucker’s body reaching down she pulled off the Satan Claw putting it on the desk before searching him for anything else that might be useful. She found a few things but nothing major other than the claw.
“Well she can’t be all bad if she’s letting us live on Asgard. And that’s a major step up from Odin if he’s anything like the one from my world.” Anyone would be better than Odin the things he did always made her wonder how he ended up king of anything. She knew the stories but that didn’t really help him any at all. It just made him seem like an uncaring asshole to everyone and his children and called it love.
“From the map that appeared after she finished talking the portal isn’t really that far away. A few hours maybe depending on what problems we run into on the way there.” She looked to Viper to see what she wanted done with the remaining agents before having a thought. “Something tells me this Aldrif woman isn’t going to let us recreate HYDRA in Asgard. And if she’s able to kill Odin I don’t want to get on her bad side.” She guessed because that was the only way she’d get the throne Odin wouldn’t just hand it over to anyone even his own children.
