“Then all we would have to do is figure out where to go.” If there was a place to go other than staying here that is. Using anything overly high tech was out of the question but maybe people would go back to using things from the past. “Are there any radio's? The really old ones so we could maybe figure out if there’s anyone else still alive.” At this point they can’t be picky when it came to working with others even if those other’s were the Avengers. Because right now the only enemy was Ultron and if they didn’t figure something out those that were left would all die.
Jessica’s body language completely changed shifting into Madame HYDRA when the woman appeared it was mainly out of habit when other people came around. Did that woman just call Viper mother? That was odd from what she could tell Viper didn’t have children and if the Jessica of this world was her daughter no one would ever know that now. And now she spoke to her like they knew one another she was angry what family was she talking about? Jessica gave the younger woman a look that said that she was talking to the wrong woman and that she wasn’t the Jessica she knew.

The look from Jessica caused Midori to pause, as did the HYDRA symbol on her shirt. In that moment, she became aware of a few other things: that her mother was not moving, not towards her nor towards the desk drawer that usually held a pistol. They were both staring at her as if they had no clue who she was and the building was quiet. No noise, no familiar hum or murmuring voices as they pass by the outside door. "What is this? What's going on? Why the hell are you wearing a HYDRA symbol? Either you decided to be a damn little suck up bitch because either your powers are on the fritz again or the government's going after your little ass and you're afraid." She then got in the woman's personal space.
"I don't care what is going on, Jessica. I don't care who is after you or that the fact you're wearing that," she said, poking the symbol on her shirt. "You are not dragging my mother into this. Get it through your thick head; my mother doesn't love you anymore. She had an epiphany a while ago, when she had me. She learned that I'm her daughter and that you are a psycho who would hurt a child," she growled. "Now get out of here before I shove my hand through your chest." As she spoke, her hands took on the same glow that covered her body earlier.
Getting Jessica out of the way would allow Midori to figure out what the hell was going on. She was not about to play these games. If James was behind this, it was a low blow, even for him. She would make sure he would learn not to fuck around with her family.

Jessica stood face to face with Midori glaring back at her normally she wouldn’t talk but the woman was really starting to get on her last nerve. “Shut the hell up you stupid child! This isn’t your world! that isn’t your mother! And I sure as hell not the Jessica you know.” She actually spoke to someone who wasn’t her mother in some shape. “That woman behind you doesn’t have children and the Jessica Drew of this world is dead along with millions of other people when Ultron took over. I come from a world where I am Viper’s daughter and HYDRA rules the world and that is why I wear this shirt.” And for some reason she knew this woman wasn’t going to believe her. That’s usually how it went.
“If I was lying then tell me why no one is talking walking around or came running in here to see what’s going on.” She told her before standing back but not because she was scared of the woman just giving her room “By all means go outside and see for yourself I’m sure Ultron would love to say hello before vaporizing you on the spot not as if either of us would lose any sleep over it.” She told her she was sure Viper wouldn’t really care that this woman died because she wouldn’t believe anything that was told to her. After all neither of them knew the woman. "You'll be eating a lightning bolt before you could get your hand up that high."

Viper stood in stunned silence as she watched the two women argue. Two daughters? Both from different worlds? It was almost laughable. She was unable to conceive now, due to her extended life from Chthon, so the idea that two different versions of herself had a family, she felt as if she were the odd ball in the Viper multiverse. She saw much of herself in the new girl; the shape of her eyes, the curl of her lips, even the way she was seemingly unafraid of going against unfair odds, but whether that was an inherited trait or just plain stupidity, she wasn’t sure. But Viper could read body language and both women were ready to kill each other.
Stepping between the two of them, she pushed them apart, holding them both at arms length. “Stop it, the both of you!” Almost immediately, she felt the tension leave the girl’s body as the glow on her hands dissipated. Obedient. She recognized Viper’s authority. That was always a good thing. Looking between the two of them, her gaze finally settled on Jessica, wanting to deal with the known variable first. “A quiet assassin, hmm? Tell me, do you assassinate all of your targets with lightning bolts? Quick and deadly, yes, but it is hardly subtle. She was inches from you and you did not use your pheromones on her to disarm her? No, you go for the direct approach. I suppose a sledgehammer is easier than a scalpel, but still… she goaded you.” She then turned her attention to the stranger.
Looking at her properly, the signs of relation between them was even more obvious. She had that same sharp cruelness in her eyes, that calculation, as if weighing the options in her situation as new variables arose. “Don’t. Do not think yourself that good, because you are not. I know what Jessica was capable as a young HYDRA agent. You know her as the soft superhero she became. Do not test your luck. You may have been trained well, Harada is better than Taskmaster in many ways.” The girl’s pale eyes widen ever so slightly and Viper’s guess had been right. Though they looked alike, her skin was slightly paler and there were other influence that showed who her father might be, including the way she moved. “And Jessie may be more like the one I know, not having mastered the fighting techniques she knows, but don’t be stupid and take that chance. She was named Madame HYDRA on her world.” The girl’s visage then collapsed, as if heartbroken to hear that. Eyes downcast, she stepped back out of Viper touch and found a chair on the opposite side of the room to sit in. “What is your name, girl?”

Midori listened as Jessica said her peace. She wasn’t stupid, she had noticed that the woman was not as old as the Jessica she knew, nor as willing to brush her off as some dumb kid who wanted to make a name for herself, but Midori was not about to back down. She hated any and all forms of Jessica Drew, ever since she was little. Their base, her home, had been attacked. She had watched as the woman in red and yellow fired a venom blast at her mother’s back as they both retreated to safety. She had thought Midori was some ‘sick experiment’ HYDRA was performing, trying to recreate what was lost with her. Even as a child, she had taken that insult to heart and would never forgive or forget that day.
She had started to reply when her mo-… no, she was not her. She was too young. Her mother had started aging at a normal rate after having Midori. It was something they never did understand, but her mother accepted it. This Viper was a couple decades too young. But, at her touch, she still gave way to her authority. It just felt right, like a comfort. She couldn’t help but smile slightly as Jessica was being lecture. So, she preferred direct threats rather than subtler methods? How odd, especially for an assassin. Already her mind was calculating ways of getting past those defenses. And that was exactly what Viper saw her doing. She knew her, even in this short period of time, but they had to be guesses. Assumptions. Or she was picking some simple commonality between her other selves. Mother and father loved each other dearly, so it was not that hard to assume they would love each other on different worlds.
She was on a different world, in a different universe. That… was a difficult pill to swallow. Her family, friends, James… they were all gone. Perhaps, if Ultron had not destroyed everything, she could gain access to a S.H.I.E.L.D. lab or the remains of the Baxter Building, even a member of the occult to likely help, if someone like Strange was alive. What hit Midori the hardest though was the news that Jessica was Madame HYDRA. Anger and sadness flashed through her in rapid succession. It was true that Midori was reluctant to take that title, even though she had been offered it already, but to have that… that bitch take what was rightly hers? The was an insult. Devastated, she stepped back and found a chair to sit down in, trying to come to terms with all this. “My name is Midori Nikolett Harada,” she replied softly.

“Only once to keep a man from crushing my skull between his hands and that was after stabbing him and emptying a clip into the mutant.” He wasn’t the target but a bodyguard one that was so new they didn’t get a chance to get any information on him before going into the field. After taking him down the target was pretty easy but she didn’t much like the recovery time from that one. “It’s called lying make her think I was going to do that when really she would have had a knife her gut before she could do anything.” she said as a blade came out of the underside of her wrist well that’s what it looked like it didn’t actually come out of her body but it was hidden from view because she almost always had them on no matter what. “Made of Adamantium her powers wouldn’t stop it and it’s one of many I carry on me at all times.” Only two of the blades on her body was made out of Adamantium all the rest were just normal blades. “I don’t use my best trick right out the gate that would be foolish. Besides she isn’t worth using it on.”
Unknowingly to them Jessica hadn’t just been by Taskmaster she also had training by Richard Dragon not as well as say Black Canary but she wasn’t that bad either. Plus she picked up some things from Harada as well kind of hard not to when the two of you live in the same house at the time. But no one here knew that and she was going to keep it that way. “If only you knew.” she muttered to herself when Viper began talking about her training. The blade disappeared back into her wrist while she watched Midori react to the news of finding out Jessica was Madame HYDRA on her earth. Jessica didn’t say anything more she stood there with her arms crossed over her chest with an impassive look on her face one she wore a lot. Midori? Her mother named her after the color green? Jessica tried not to laugh at that.
While the two were talking something caught Jessica eye walking over to the wall she grabbed a remote and brought up a larger image of what she had saw on a camera from another part of the island. There were a lot of Ultron’s in the sky over an area of Lowtown but why? She knew the area but nothing there came to mind as to why they would be there that would draw that many Ultron’s there mostly rubble there a few buildings still stood but it didn’t look like it’d be anything that’d draw so many to that area.

"And you don't go around stabbing your allies," Viper told Jessica, grabbing the girl's wrist. "I don't care what you think, agent, but I do know that you will behave while in my presence. And you will not kill each other. Understood?" She asked, squeezing Jessica's wrist hard before letting it go. She doubt the action would actually hurt her, what with her superhuman abilities, but an example had to be made and rules had to be set.
Viper sighed and clenched her jaw, not believing what she was hearing. Not a moment ago, she felt odd for not having children and now she was almost grateful that she couldn’t conceived. One was arrogant, hard-driven, and so sure in her ways, while the other seemed almost coddled, as if she thought the world was to be delivered to her on a silver platter. Alone, Viper likely wouldn’t have noticed the extremes in personalities, but together they stood out rather obviously. Jessica’s condition had a reason behind it. Having spent all those years in isolation and then being trained by HYDRA, it was…. She was essentially a younger version of herself, Viper realized. All she lacked were those brief moments of insanity. As for Midori… a two parent upbringing, apparently a stable relationship with them, and, while not ruling the world, she was still seen as the golden child. Viper wondered how much action and how many missions the girl had actually been on. More than likely, she had only been in simulations or accompanied her parents on certain missions, acting as a shadow.
Her attention then turned to Jessica, who was watching a surveillance screen rather intently. “What is it? What do you see?” Surely they weren’t about to be attacked. The base was, for all intents and purposes, destroyed. Even though they had power, it was a sliver of what it had been originally. Still, her hand unconsciously moved towards the hidden button on her desk. It would open an escape route located in the wall, allowing them a way out if needed.

Jessie was already starting to dislike being here at first it wasn’t so bad but then when Midori showed up everything went to shit and now she just wanted to get out of here and go some place else far away from either both of them or just Midori who seemed about as useful as a box of rocks but just sat there like a sack of potatoes. Probably expecting everyone to kiss her feet or some such. Even if Keniuchio had trained Midori her whole life she looked like she couldn’t do anything without someone holding her hand. Like a lost little girl. “Understood.”
The Ultron’s on the screen had their arms stretched out to the sides like a child would when it pretended to fly only slightly higher than normal “Those things are in the air over an area in Lowtown they haven’t do-” she was cut off as the group of Ultron’s fired off a wide blueish white beam at the area below them everything began to shake including the camera until it fell. Even though they weren’t that close to Lowtown they still felt the effects of the sonic attack. Jessie looked around as things raddled and some fell as the lights flickered. After what seemed like forever it finally stopped like nothing had even happened.
Just as things were settling down and getting back to normal when the doors were opened and Wolfgang von Strucker and a group of HYDRA agents walked through the door. Surprised to see Viper wasn't alone like he had thought she would be. He did find it amusing Jessica was there and wearing a HYDRA shirt no less but hadn't a clue who the other woman was. That didn't stop him from giving out orders to his agents to have Jessica locked up. Doing what they were told they took Jessica to a cell locking her up and guarding her.

Viper watched as the Ultrons attacked whatever it was they had targeted and she held a calm composure when the base rattled from their blast. That area of Lowtown was a good ways off and she could only imagine how badly the area was devastated if they could feel the shock from here. As for the camera, it was indeed a loss, and Viper doubted if she would ever be able to replace it and regain surveillance in that area. Pulling out a map of the island from her desk, she unfurled it and crossed out that area, circling precisely where the camera had been.
Her eyes widened when Strucker and his troops walked through the door. How had they gotten in without her knowing? Surely the cameras would have alerted her to his presence, unless they had entered during the blast. The power had flickered then. "Sir, what are you doing here? How did you manage to get pass the Ultron units?" she asked, a bit surprised and a bit worried.
Before her questions could be answered, Viper watched as Jessica was taken into custody and carted away. She started to protest but then remembered herself for two reasons; One, she would not be believed and two, even though he was her superior, Viper did not trust him with the truth about Jessica. She was something that could easily be used against her. As for Midori, Strucker didn't seem to worry about her for some reason, giving her very little notice. "Your presence here is an honor, sir. It is good to know that HYDRA still has a powerful leader to look to in this time of need."

Midori kept her mouth shut as Jessica threatened her with the hidden blade. Likely she had a matching twin on her other wrist. Looking the girl over, Midori estimated where these other could be kept. Boots, thigh straps, small of the back, spine sheath, crossdraw or shoulder holster style, pants pocket, and a small stiletto hidden in her hair were the design done properly. Two adamantium blades, the rest were likely steel. The girl was postering, making threats, showing bravado, and letting on that she apparently knew the extent of Midori's powers. She was cocky. That would be her downfall.
When the Ultrons struck, Midori watched their tactics and flight patterns, not that it would help much. They were machines and able to calculate and adapt to situations rather quickly. They were something she would prefer to avoid rather than confront.
When the rumbling subsided and Strucker entered, Midori was just as surprised as Viper. But, when Jessica was led out and jailed, she had to hide a small smile. It wasn't every day that you were given an opportunity like this to show someone the error of their ways. Strucker gave her a passing glance. Due to her odd attire, he probably thought her to be someone rather ordinary who had been caught up in the attack. Why Viper had decided to take her in, who knew, but that was why she used the fabrication that she was an envoy of Clan Yashida, originally here on business dealings.
Seemingly satisfied with that, Midori politely excused herself from the office, taking her purse, and casually made her way to the holding cells. Before turning the corner, she made sure to freshen up her make-up, applying a fresh coat of lipstick. After all, she wanted to look her best when gloating at Jessica. The men guarding her were sweet, or that's what Midori told them as she flirted, playing up the role of being coy, yet happy to see a man. They were eager as well, especially the one who was so willing to kiss her. She was kind enough to slip him a bit of tongue and let him grab a bit of thigh before the toxins in her lipstick killed him. The other guard didn't die so happily. He ended up bleeding out as the veins in his throat were slashed.
As she fingered the keys to the cell, for a brief moment Midori did consider leaving Jessica in there. After all, she knew how HYDRA constructed their jails. She could get out eventually, it was always a possibility, but it wouldn't be any time soon. "I'm curious what you think of me now, Madame HYDRA? Would you like this stupid, useless child just to leave you here? Or would you like to get out? I'll need you to say please first."

Jessica had to be restrained while the men searched her for any weapons and they found a lot of them most knives, fiber wire and a .45 the reason for so many weapons wasn’t out habit but she had been dealing with the rebels a group of them they had found. The restrainment wasn’t so much she was trying to escape it was to keep her from killing the men who got a little too touchy feely while looking for weapons when they were done they put her into one of the last cells that hadn’t been destroyed. One thing they forgot where the hidden blades on her wrists the only way they would have known about them was if they had taken her watch but they didn’t and due to the way the bracers had been made they felt like skin so they wouldn’t think it was anything else.
She had sat on the crappy little bed thinking how she could get out of there. Her blades could cut through the shatter-proof plastic polymer but the problem was doing it without getting caught. The only other idea was the door she could get it open they looked like the same ones used back home plus it did look like it had been damaged in the first attack. Her train of thought had been interrupted when the men started going on about someone and then she saw her Midori what the hell was she doing here? She was the last person she had expected to show up down here. She rolled her eyes when the one man was getting more than just a simple kiss if it had been more then that she’d probably lose her lunch but the men started to die which meant she had poisoned them.
She raised an eyebrow what was she expecting a pat on the head and tell her she was a good girl? Instead of answering the pivot blade popped out and she stabbed it into the shatterproof window and began cutting a hole large enough for her to get through. Once free she patted Midori on the head “Good girl.” She said in a mocking tone before walking off to get her things.

Midori sighed as she saw Jessica pop a blade out and started carving out a little exit hold for herself. Clearly those HYDRA agents were rather inept in their searches, and it either showed how bad things were that Strucker's own handpicked men were ignorant of proper procedures, or that they were just stupid in general. It sort of made Midori sick to her stomach. When or if they remade HYDRA, she would have to make sure that their standards were raised quite a bit.
The pat on the head was the last straw. Grabbing Jessica by the arm, Midori yanked her back. "A simple thank you would have sufficed, you ungrateful bitch. And before you say anything, yes, I know that you would have escaped eventually. I could have left you in there to escape at your own leisure, but I don't trust Strucker. How as it he got here so easily and with little to no apparent damage? If your mother is Supreme HYDRA, the Strucker on your world is dead, likely killed by you if I guess correctly. I say we let the same thing happen here and make sure our only other ally is safe. Good idea?"
Midori didn't even wait for a reply. Instead she simply started to make her way back to Viper's office, feeling foolish for leaving the woman she would have called mother there by herself. Yes, Viper could take care of herself, but Midori was feeling paranoid on this world and she wanted to keep what allies she had.

Jessica noticed the look Midori had when she saw her cut her way to freedom. “They did their job right the tech for my bracers are more advanced than anything this world has come across. They can’t remove something they can’t see or feel for that matter.” she told her. “Which reminds me when I get home to thank Toni Stark she did a great job on making these things.” she said mostly to herself then Midori.
She looked back at the woman when she grabbed her and pulled her back away from her things. “Maybe he’s rounding up what’s left of HYDRA sort of rebuild it type of thing?” It was just a thought she really didn’t know what he was up to. “Two thoughts on how he got here. One by sail boat we don’t know how long this world has been like this he could have been on the water for a long time when we showed up. The other one being he has a really old sub like World War II old those things aren’t high tech enough for Ultron to get into.” She said as she grabbed her things quickly putting them back to where they had been.
“Slit his throat from ear to ear in front of my mother.” she said as she followed Midori for a while until they got closer. She grabbed the younger woman and pulled her back before she could be seen “Before we go on a killing spree lets not kill all of the agents unless you know how to pilot a sub that may or may not be here. It’d be a hell of a lot better than using a sail boat.”

Midori smirked at the news of advanced technology. “HYDRA really does improve the world. It’s just sad that no one seems to realize this. Perhaps where the Avengers failed in defeating Ultron, we will succeed.” The look in her eyes said that not even she believed her own words. “A pipe dream, I know, but how long did our own mothers live on such ideals?” Even if there was a chasm of differences between the two of them, Jessica’s and Midori’s upbringing had to share some similarities, even if there were only one or two. Then she realized what pronoun Jessica used. "Wait, she? Your Tony is a girl? Or did Anthony Stark have a daughter and is just that egotistical to name her after him?"
“Regrouping HYDRA is always a possibility, but I was actually thinking more along the lines of that not really being Strucker. I don’t know how advanced those robots are, but I recall reading about an incident where one of the versions mimicked the form of Janet Van Dyne. Strucker just seems like another good choice. Maybe.”
Upon being yanked back, Midori gave Jessica a look. Unlike her, she was not about to just slaughter everyone in that room, not unless they gave her a good reason to. Hell, part of her was toying with the unlikely idea of keeping Strucker alive, on the odd chance that there were more agents on whatever vessel he arrived in and they needed a bargaining chip, but the two girls were likely of the same mind and each wanted what was best for their own mother. So, that left Strucker as being expendable. “I will keep the killing to the minimum. I will even let you go first, if you like. You’re faster and more agile.” Plus, she could be used as a meat shield. "We eliminate Strucker, retain the crew, and get off this island.” Open seas might not be safer, but Madripoor was clearly not a haven.

“Normally I’d agree with you but this time? I don’t think anyone’s going to be beating Ultron.” She didn’t even really know how to beat this Ultron not without using advanced technology and if they did that Ultron would turn it on them and end up killing those that went after him. “She’s been pulling Strucker’s strings since World War II until she grew tired of him and had me killed him a few years ago.” she told her then gave her a confused look “Her name is Antonia Stark daughter to Edward Stark better known as Iron Woman. I know how Toni is which really makes me wonder how she would be as a guy.” It was a scary thought to be thinking that crazy woman was a man in another world.
“If it was a robot wouldn’t they have killed us by now? The Jessica was this world was apart of the Avengers I would think Ultron would want them all dead.” It just seemed strange for Ultron not to kill everyone down here if that was really Ultron in the other room with Viper.
“I’m not going to be your meat shield if that’s what you're thinking. Besides if whoever’s all in there sees me free there will be a firefight we’re outnumbered and outgunned.” And they wanted the others alive for now at least. With that she made the first move using the dark hallway to her advantage sneaking up on the lone man and put him in a sleeper hold until he was knocked out once he was down she dragged his body away from the door and out of sight. “I’m getting in there my own way.” she said before heading into a vent she had found.
