Jessica groaned as she began to come around the last thing she remembered was talking to the public about the opening of a new building then there was a blinding white light and pain lots of pain which is what she woke up to. She managed to get to her feet but had to hold onto the wall for support her head was killing her. After a few moments she managed to look around to see what the hell had happened to her. And what she saw confused her because she couldn’t remember an explosion happening nor did this look like the building she had been standing in front of but it did look familiar though.
She pushed away from the wall and made her way down what was left of the hallway. The only way to find an answer was to figure out where she was then figure out what had happened. She stopped in front of a huge set of doors her eyes traveled down to the control panel the power was out and there was no way she could open those doors because they looked like blast doors and they would be able to keep her out no matter what she did.
Looking around she spotted a hole in the vent. Backing up she ran jumped grabbing a hold of part of the vent and pulled herself up into it and began crawling looking for another opening to let her into the other room. She didn’t have to go far before she found what she was looking for ripping the cover off she dropped down into the room and looked around in shock when she realized this was home. What on earth had happened and how did she get back here? She was pretty sure she was in the States not that long ago.

The power was not completely out, it had only been rerouted from non-essentially places throughout the base. It Viper's mind, it seemed like it would make her less of a target. Perhaps it would. When HYDRA was attacked by those Ultron bots, Viper had sealed the base once the odds became less favorable and the death count spiked. All exits and entrances were sealed and disabled, virtually locking the entire place down. She had given the remaining agents the option of staying, but, not surprisingly, none took her up on the offer and left her to her fate. HYDRA was destroyed, Viper just refused to accept it. Perhaps this base would be her tomb. Or perhaps she would live another hundred years, allowing those robots to rust, die, or be destroyed and she would emerge from beneath her rock, like the immortal head of the mythological hydra. She certainly had enough food and time still seemed to be on her side.
Currently, Viper was in her office, opening a bottle of brandy and toasting her defeat when the security cameras by the front entrance notified her of movement. Pulling up the feed, the glass slipped from her hand. It was Jessie. She was alive...
No. no, Viper had seen her die. She had watched as those damn machines had destroyed her utterly, vaporizing her on the spot. There wasn't even so much as a smudge on the ground when they were done with her. This had to be a trick. She had seen prototypes that could disguise themselves as humans. Perhaps this was a trick to lure Viper out into the open, or perhaps it was an assassin sent to wipe her out completely. If that was the case, Viper would gladly show Ultron that she was not someone who would just easily roll over and die.
Pistol in hand, loaded with armor-piercing, explosive rounds, Viper quietly slipped through the corridors, using the ample shadows as cover. It didn't take long to find the duplicate, as it was just standing there, looking around at everything, as if it were confused. Perhaps it had been damaged earlier, not that it mattered. Aiming at the creature's head, Viper carefully squeezed off three shots in rapid succession.

Jessica was looking around the place something seemed off about it. It looked like home and everything but something was wrong with it but she couldn’t figure out what other then most of the power being off. That wasn’t a huge deal her mother had just given her night vision contact lenses for her birthday and they were handy when dealing with the rebels. With everything shut down it was like she was standing in a tomb instead of the main HYDRA base. With everything shut down it made hearing things a lot easier like the sound of breathing that wasn’t hers and the sound a gun makes just before it’s fired! That got Jessica moving out of the line of fire and behind some cover.
One thing she had noticed briefly the shooter looked a lot like her mother but why would she shoot at her? “Mother stop shooting it’s me Jessica!” she called out moving from where she was at just in case something weird had happened to her mother. And who ever did this to her mother would pay for it. Making it over to a wall she climbed up it to the ceiling over to where she last saw her mother deciding it was the best place to be because no one ever looked up until it was too late usually. She looked down at the woman with the gun she looked a lot like her mother but the way she was acting towards her was very different. Was this the same person that had given birth to her or was it a clone? an L.M.D. yeah those were still around even after they changed the world.

She moved. Just before Viper had fired, the duplicate had moved and dodged her shots. How... she hadn't made a single sound. Viper knew she had been quiet. Enhanced hearing? Night-vision? How had it known? Better yet, why was it avoiding her, rather than just coming in for the kill? To make matter worse, it spoke.
Viper chuckled harshly to herself when she heard those words. "Mother? You call me mother now? Cute. Did you really think playing that would cause me to hesitate? The real Jessica hates me. Malfunctioning piece of scrap," she muttered to herself as she ducked down, dashing for a new vantage point.
The room had gone quiet and she couldn't see her opponent anymore. Viper listened for anything that would give away her position, but there was nothing except for her own soft breathing. This thing thought it was Jessica. It moved like her, acted like her, and if it had her abilities.... Viper aimed upwards, above her and spotted the things on the ceiling. With so many variables and coincidences, her brain still refused to believe this was the real thing. "Jessica Drew is dead. I saw you kill her, along with Danvers and others. You want me alive? Is that why you won't kill me? I refuse to be taken, robot." Again, she fired at the thing on the ceiling, making sure to count her bullets. If need be, she'd leave the last for herself.

Okay now she was really confused she never hated her mother okay maybe a little before she actually knew Viper was really her mother but that had all changed after all the tests and what not that were done on her. Okay she wasn’t totally dumb she did look up but hadn’t seen her at least not yet. Well now she was even more confused when her mother blamed her for killing herself? How does one even do something like that to begin with? She had no idea and she didn’t know who this Danvers person was either. That was it she had to put a stop to this so she could get some answers that didn’t leave her confused.
She dropped down behind Viper and raised her hand and fired off a small amount of bio-electricity not enough to kill her but enough to drop her. Reaching down she grabbed the gun took it apart before tossing it. “What’s wrong with you mother? Just yesterday I went to the states to a grand opening for a new R&D building today and the next thing I know I’m home being shot at by my own mother who’s babbling on like she’s completely lost her mind! Telling me I killed myself and some Danvers person and I don’t even know who the hell that is!” she yelled looking down at the woman in front of her “If I hated you I wouldn’t have assassinated Wolfgang von Strucker for you nor would I have gotten Schmidt’s cosmic cube so HYDRA can rule the world! Does any of this ring any bells or have you gone completely gone off the deep end?!” she yelled which was rare for the woman to do and not at all towards her mother.

The shock of bio-electricity hurt. By the void did it hurt, sending Viper crashing to the floor. But it was a pain she welcomed, as odd as it sounded, for it was a familiar sensation. No one could duplicate Jessie's bio-electricity exactly, not even the Skrull queen. It was like a fingerprint and she had been shocked enough in the past to recognize it instantly.
It took her a few moments to understand, but she soon realized that the... that this.... Jessica, as she insisted on calling herself, was talking to her, babbling nonsense about how she had killed Strucker and obtained the cosmic cube to allow them to rule the world. Oh, that would be a wonderful dream. One that made her laugh, which sent her into a coughing fit due to her body still spasming thanks to Jessica's venom blast.
And she was Jessica, just not the one Viper was used to, or so she was starting to assume. "You.... you are on the wrong earth, child. HYDRA does not rule this world. Nor have I gone off the deep end. You touched the cube, yes?" she asked, sitting up and trying not to be sick. "Somehow, you've been brought here, to a word ending. Ultron.... I assume you have that thing where you are from.... it's taken over. As for HYDRA? You are looking at the sole remaining member." Viper then looked at the woman before her for a long, quiet time. She always knew her Jessie, no matter what. But she had to be sure.
"If you are who you say you are, what are the three things I would never say or do? And what is the one piece of art I have in my office that I would never get rid of?"

Jessica sat down next to Viper now that she wasn’t trying to kill her and knew she wasn’t something else. She wasn’t even on her earth anymore? How did that even happen? As far as she knew no one had that kind of tech in her world well no one outside of HYDRA but no one would dare use it on her or her mother. “And there’s no way for me to get back to my world is there?” she asked kind of already knowing the answer but hoping she was wrong. “The old earth did before we changed things but after Pym didn’t have time to make anything like that he was too busy making things for HYDRA. Just like Toni Stark did. Sole members I’m still apart of HYDRA no matter what earth I’m on though I doubt I’m Madame Hydra here.”
“You’d never surrender, never admit defeat, and would never willingly bend a knee to the likes of the Avengers or S.H.I.E.L.D.” She said before thinking on the last one for a moment hoping it was the same here. “Keniuchio gave you a painting of two figures viewed from the back, in traditional clothing, beneath a blooming cherry blossom tree it’s suppose to be the two of you.” She thought it was on the cheesy side but her mother loved it and never moved it no matter what. She even threatened a few people who tried to move it due to it not fitting in with the way the office looked after she had it redone.

"Unless we find the cube, which... I have no idea where it is... or a dimensional portal device, I do not know how to get you back to your world." It was a sad realization, one Viper hated to think about. Jessie was from a world where HYDRA had been on top, and know she was thrust into this hell pit. "If we do find a way out and gain access to your world, promise to take me with you. I would rather live in anonymity there, rather than here with a price on my head." At least there she would be safe.
Viper couldn't help but chuckle at her words. "If there are just the two of us as HYDRA, that would mean I am Supreme HYDRA by default, and I can make you Madame HYDRA. You still retain your title, as did I, even when I wasn't working for them."
As for the answers Jessie provided, Viper nodded and smiled a little. The three things were easy, if a bit obvious, but she could hear the determination from those words in the girl's voice. As for the piece of art? It was a bit surprising that this other Viper would have a relationship with Keniuchio, but there would be time to ask about that later. Yes, the painting was cheesy, Viper had forced herself not to roll her eyes when she was given it. It had been done early in their relationship, when Keniuchio was madly devoted to her, but over the years, she had grown to appreciate and even love it. After all, it was from a man she could never be with.
Struggling to her feet, Viper nodded. "I believe you. For now at least. But, keep this in the front of your mind; if you betray me in any way, daughter from another timeline or not, you should know that I do not keep traitors in my presence for long." Offering the girl a hand up, she gestured towards her office. "Come, let's compare notes and get you up to date and fed."

“Depends on how closely events between the two worlds are alike if World War II happened the same way before my mother rewrote the wars outcome I know right where the cube is at the problem would be getting to it form here then down to where it would be at. It two weeks and a team of agents to dig a hole to it.” They wouldn’t have anyone other than themselves to get to it plus they would have to keep an eye out for Ultron. “I’ll take you with me.” she wasn’t shocked that Viper had asked her to come with her after anyone living in a world like this would want to go to a better world.
Guess she was right with them being the only two HYDRA agents left Viper would be Supreme HYDRA by default. She then raised an eyebrow “And who would I betray you to? Ultron? He would give me nothing but a quick death something I could live without. Besides I can’t betray my mother no matter what earth I’m on.” she said as she took Viper’s hand getting back to her feet. “People have tried to get me to change sides I was sent to kill Nick Fury he showed me what HYDRA was really about wanted me to be a double agent I blew his head off with my venom bite.”

"We can compare notes about the war later if you like." Even if the war had gone similarly, they were still half a world away from any place Schmidt used as a base. With limited technology and the constant danger of Ultron, it seemed like an impossible journey. "Two weeks with technology and digging equipment." Viper's voice sounded hollow and tired as that goal seemed pointless now. She felt her world and reality start to crumble around her. This all seemed so completely hopeless now. She really would die here on this damn island. The corridors seemed to close in around her as they made their way back to her office, causing Viper to walk that much faster, trying to escape a mental state she didn't want to be a part of at the moment.
"You.... you killed Fury?" she asked once she had calmed down and poured herself a drink. "My Jessie... she fell for his words and turned against HYDRA right then. Yet she still wore the Agent Arachne suit all throughout her heroic career. I never understand why."
Slumping in her chair, she indicated to Jessica to make herself at home. "There is plenty of food and drink. We have running water and electricity, as well as back up generators if the power should go out. Forgive me for thinking you would betray me. It's a habit of mine. Years of paranoia and bad partnerships. I doubt your mother had to deal with that." Sighing, Viper forced herself to think on how to leave Madripoor. She had the feeling that this daughter of hers would not content herself with living out the rest of her days here.

“Only if you find we need to.” she said knowing that getting to the base would be hard and even harder still was getting to the cube when they didn’t have the tech to do so that wouldn’t draw Ultron’s attention to what they were doing. She noticed Viper had started walking faster she didn’t know why but she was able to keep up with her without having to run. When they were in the office she sat on the couch on one end “We could get off this island you know. If the things we need are in the water already.” she said after a moment.
“That was what I was ordered to do. Unlike me she might not have remembered anything of her past. I don’t remember everything but I can remember bits of my childhood before I got sick and was put in the genetic accelerator. So I knew Madame Hydra was my mother and she believed me after running a bunch of tests on me.” Although she didn’t know why her other self wore the costume if she hated HYDRA so much. She gave up the costume when she went into a different line of work she couldn’t wear something like that it stuck out too much.
“She still had to deal with it just not from me. I followed her orders without question. Gave up being a spy and became a mute assassin as far as anyone knew.” Her mother was the only person she’d talk normally to everyone else she wouldn’t utter a word that’s why everything thought she was a mute and couldn’t speak at all.

Viper cocked an eyebrow at Jessie. "What escape plan do you have in mind?" Truthfully, Viper hadn't really been thinking of ways to get off of Madripoor. She had been too preoccupied with the complete obliteration of her life. Maybe, in a few weeks, she would have started to think of how to move on. But then again, maybe not.
"I remember that order. It was a disappointment on our end that started a cascade effect which ended with many people dead and a HYDRA base destroyed." She kept quiet about Jessie's childhood. Viper had never been truly certain about being Jessica's mother; she remembered buts and pieces, but whether it was true or if she had fabricated those memories, or worse yet, had her mind tampered with by an elder god just because it gave him pleasure to do so. "Was she a good mother? Before you got sick." She didn't know why she asked such a question. This was another woman on a different world, one who was entirely successful in her life, even retaining a child's love.
"An unquestioning and mute assassin?" She smiled at that. "That's what I had insisted on your original purpose to be. An assassin. I thought that being a spy, while your power set would prove useful, unless trained properly, learning information from the enemy might become dangerous. Do you enjoy your work?"

“A sailboat they don’t have computers or run on gas no internet either if one’s still around we can leave this island at any point.” She said all they would have to do is stock it with things they would need and take off the only thing was she didn’t know where they would go.
So the other her actually bought what Fury told her and joined his little team. Became a superhero to save the day it nearly made her ill just thinking about it. But in the end it really didn’t matter because she along with millions of others died. “Yes. She let me play in her office and I’d remind her to sleep when it got late.” Her favorite place to play was in her mother’s office because she wouldn’t tell her to go some place else because she was working like her father did most of the time. Now that she thought about it it seemed her mother paid more attention to her then her father had.
“Always, I never talked to anyone only my mother that included lower HYDRA agent’s. Actions speak louder than words.” It gave reason for them to fear her “I was going to be a spy but didn’t much like it so I became an assassin which I enjoyed more working alone doing things my way. Best job I ever had.”

Midori wasn't sure how it had happened. One moment she was both enjoying dinner and playfully toying with James Rogers, the next generation of Captain America and then, well... neither he, nor the restaurant was there anymore. At first she thought it was a trick, some device that James was using to disorient her, but he had never been the type to use such things against her. Plus there was also the unsettling sensation of her falling. Trick or not, Midori knew enough to trust her senses, whether external or internal, and they were all screaming that she was not standing on the rooftop restaurant.
Unable to see the ground, or anything for that matter, the young woman did the only thing she thought would be useful in a freefalling situation; she activated her mutant power and a energy field comprised of tachyons surrounded her entire body. It wouldn't necessarily protect her entirely, but at least if she were to fall on anything sharp or deadly, her landing would be cushioned as the objects would be disintegrated.
The fall didn't last long, though the impact was harder than she had expected. Opening her eyes, the first thing Midori noticed was that she was inside and her mother.... was looking rather shocked. No, she was... she was younger than she should be. Midori had seen pictures of her at that age but.... Maybe she had hit her head or was seeing things or perhaps it was a Pit Viper of her mother's. That still made no sense. Blinking, she looked at what she had landed on. It was a desk, the wood partially gone, revealing the untarnished metal beneath. Likely a adamantium or vibranium alloy if her throbbing head was any indication. "I'm sorry, mother. I don't know what happened," she said, slipping off the desk. "I was with Rogers, taunting him and then... he must have had a teleporter."
A bit of movement caught her eye. Turning, Midori came face to face with the last person she ever wanted to see. "What the hell are you doing here? I thought I told you never to come near my family again!" she asked Jessica sternly, her headache suddenly forgotten.

"Well, Madripoor does have plenty of sailboats and most could be rigged for just two people to pilot it," Viper admitted. From what she knew, most of the larger fleets had been taken by the fleeing people or scuttled by Ultron. If anything had been taken or damaged, it likely would have been the high tech ones with faster engines, leaving the sail boats behind. "For a moment I thought you were about to suggest a submarine. While I'm fairly certain one likely exists on this island, I don't know anything about piloting one of those. So, sailboat it is."
Viper watched Jessica as she talked about her mother, looking at the ever so slight changes in body language. They had actually been a family, even if it had just been the two of them. "You and your mother sound-" She was interrupted by a brief crackling sound and suddenly, a body dropped onto her desk out of know. Scrambling to her feet, Viper saw that it was a young woman, covered in some sort of energy field, which was slowly burning through the mahogany panels of her desk. The odd thing about her was that she was dressed in a pristine, green evening dress. This far after the invasion, that was impossible. Looking up, she noted the the ceiling was unmarred.
Her attention was brought back to the girl when she called Viper mother. Immediately the green haired woman looked to Jessica, as if she could explain the intruder. Another daughter of hers? What next? Would other versions of herself start appearing? Viper began to speak when the young girl noticed the other occupant in the room and, judging by her reaction, them being related was rather unlikely.
