Even though it didn't belong to her Zarda liked spending time in the Forest of the Huntress kind of strange for a water god but she was never normal. She liked the place so much so that sometimes she fell asleep there in a hammock she had put up a while ago. Like she's doing now the only bad thing about sleeping in the forest there was nothing to block out the sun that was also the only time she hated her father-in-law and his stupid sun pulling. Even though Zarda knew he didn't actually bring up the sun it was easier to blame him in her half asleep state.
But this morning it wasn't Helios who got the blame for waking her up so early it was her own body. It happened rather fast one second she was enjoying her dreams the next she had been ripped out of them as her whole body began to hurt like she had never felt before. The pain as so intense that Zarda fell out of the hammock into the dirt below landing on her hands and knees, that's when she noticed her skin had turned black in color her bones began to break and change before coming back together her muscles shifted around her fingers fused together leaving her with three which turned into claws. Her toes stayed mostly the same only becoming claws much like her fingers. Her whole body began to reshape itself looking less and less human and more alien until she was alien looking.
When the change was complete the lizard like alien creature looked around the forest before looking up where she saw her father-in-law. She jumped on one tree, then to one across from it going back and forth between the two until she was near the top she then jumped at the chariot of fire she tried to grab it or swipe at it, it was hard to tell but she wasn't even close to reaching it before she was heading back towards the earth landing hard but unhurt.

Helios drove his chariot through the sky and over the Forest of the Huntress, or rather, the Forest of Zarda, since his daughter-in-law seemed to enjoy sleeping there so much. As far as he could tell, there wasn't anything wrong between her and his daughter, Zarda just enjoyed sleeping there sometimes. She had even set up a little hammock between two rather large trees. Looking down, the sun god pass over the bed, hoping to catch a glimpse of her and be able to shine a bit of light on her sleeping eyes. Unfortunately, the hammock was empty, though he did notice a bit of movement in the nearby trees. But what caused the movement was something rather unexpected.
The creature was large and black, almost spindly and bony in its appearance; complete with a tail and wicked looking claws. Helios was almost amused by the thing, at least until it tried to leap into his chariot. Fortunately, his height proved more than a bit difficult to attain, and the black thing tumbled back down into the canopy. "As odd looking as you are, I don't think you're the type that belongs here on Olympus. I'd bind you and take you back home myself, but I've got a job to do." But, rather than just leave the creature to its business, Helios, seeing that the creature seemed rather interested in him and his shininess, stopped his chariot and sent a quick flare of light into Circe's bedroom.
The goddess had been sleeping rather peacefully. That all ended as soon as a miniature sun flashed in front of her eyes. Letting out a curse, Circe sat up, almost expecting to hear her wife yell and go streaking out of the room, intent of hurting Helios for waking them up so early. But the bed beside her was empty and cool to the touch. Zarda had gone to bed with her, but must had left in the middle of the night. She had seemed restless lately. Sighing, the goddess dressed and flung open her curtains, taking note that her father's chariot was hovering over the forest. Right where Zarda liked to sleep sometimes.
Within a instant, Circe was at her father's side. "What is it, Helios? What is…. that thing?" Circe asked, her eyes landing upon the still jumping creature. "I don't know. I found it here in the woods. It seems to like me rather a lot," Helios simply answered. "I'm not sure how we should handle it, whatever it is."

Meanwhile, in space just past the moon a massive ship came to a stop just out of range of any man made devices they didn't want anyone knowing they were there. "Is the teleporter ready?" Kaileena asked as she made her way into the room, "Yes, your majesty." came the reply from one of them workers "Good then I shall return in a few weeks." she told them before stepping onto the platform a few seconds later she disappeared. A short time later she appeared behind Helios and Circe she said and did nothing at first just listened to the two talk about her daughter down below.
The one she knew well and the other not so much either way she didn't much like what they were saying about her daughter "I don't think she'd enjoy being called a thing or an it." did she scare them? Maybe did she feel bad about doing it? Only a little. It was only fair. "Though I did hope the have gotten here before this had happened." she had thought she would have had at least a week before Zarda would change. But it seemed not being on their home world had sped it up somewhat. "I take from the way you two are reacting this is rather new?" if that was the case then Zarda had changed just before she got here which was good it'd save them from a lot of problems.

Circe was not used to being snuck up on, yet Kaileena's teleporter had managed to do just that. Upon hearing her voice, the goddess whirled around, shocked to see her mother-in-law standing right behind them. Helios was equally surprised, but put off by the fact there was a beautiful woman in his chariot, although she did look like an older version of Zarda. Like an older sister, or something. "She?" Circe asked, glancing between Kaileena and the beast. "No… that… oh gods, that's Zarda." Her face immediately paled upon realizing who it was. What had happened to her wife? "You knew this was going to happen?!" For a few short moments divine rage filled her eyes ad that emotion battled with concern over the welfare of Zarda. Thankfully, the latter won, otherwise lightning would likely have struck Helios' chariot.
Most likely blinded by concern for her transformed wife, Circe teleported down to the forest floor, hoping she would be able to aid or change Zarda back to how she was originally. Helios hadn't truly expected that; being left alone with the mother of his daughter-in-law. It would be foolish to try and hit on the woman. Foolish and most likely deadly, so the sun god kept his hands to himself and his thoughts quiet as he answered Kaileena's questions. "Yes, I would most definitely say that this is a new look for Zarda. I don't think Circe would quietly stand by and let her wife to be changed like this. Why does she look like a…" he tried to come up with a proper description that would not get him abused. Failing, the sun god finally just settled with a gesture towards the changed woman. "Why does she look like that, exactly? Is she ill? Or is this some new, alien 'it's my time of the month' thing? Because I'm aware that they have a rather healthy sex life, and I don't think this has ever come up. Circe would have most certainly mentioned it, if it had."

"I did as I said I had hoped to have gotten here before this had happened so I could explain it to you." Kaileena replied, not fazed by the look of rage in her daughter-in-law's eyes. Starting a fight with her wouldn't help anyone right now. At the moment she was the only one who knew how to deal with Zarda at this time. So the elder of the group kept her cool avoiding starting anything with the young goddess. Thankfully Circe didn't act out either saving them a lot of problems and not wasting any time.
As soon as Circe disappeared Kaileena leaned over the chariot looking down at her daughter and wife before looking at Helios out of the corner of her eye, "An alien lizard?" she finished when he was trying to come up with something to call Zarda's new look. "She's going through puberty. Yes, I'm aware you see her as an adult, but she's actually a child and now she's growing up. A very, very long time ago we used to create cocoons, but there were beasts that enjoyed eating them so things were done to our DNA, which passed down from one generation instead of cocooning ourselves, we revert to a pure state this is how we looked billions of years ago." She stood up, turned to face Helios "This will only last a few weeks then she'll change again back to being human looking only different than what she had looked like and her powers will be different."

"Your timing could have been a little better," Circe commented, not enjoying this little surprise. What if this had happened while they were in bed together? Like most couples, they did occasionally enjoy a bit of morning fun. What if it had happened then? Circe shivered at the thought of being helpless while her wife changed.
"Yeah, alien lizard sounds about right," Helios agreed. "Puberty?!" He hadn't expected that, and now that he knew this is what Zarda's people originally looked like, well…. the gild was suddenly off that lily. "Now I know why your auras have tails and spikes. It also explain the lack of a navel." Having the gift of Sight wasn't always the best of abilities, but thankfully he could turn it off when he wanted to. "You had better explain this all to Circe. I don't know how well she'll take it. she hates change that she can't control. But thank you for coming and being here for them."
Circe frowned, watching Zarda continue to climb the trees and leap towards the sun. She would have thought being down on the ground would have brought her wife's attention towards her, but it hadn't. "Zarda! Come down here!" she called out, making a series of complicated hand movements. Dark clouds quickly enveloped Helios' chariot, cutting off the light and making it a dreary, overcast sky. Circe was one of two people who had the ability to block out her father's light, the other being Medea. With her shiny toy having gone away, Circe hoped Zarda would decide to stop playing around and come back to earth.
Noting the increased cloud coverage, Helios looked at Kaileena. "I think that's my cue to leave and get on with work. You should probably get down there. Make sure those two don't get into any trouble."

"My timing was just fine, I didn't know she was going to change so early." Kaileena replied a bit annoyed with the woman because she had said Zarda had changed sooner than expected. There was going to be a coming of age party for Zarda that would have lasted for days during that time there would have been many other things she and her daughter would have done together to prepare. But that was tossed to the side because Zarda apparently couldn't wait.
"That is the right word isn't it? For a child becoming an adult?" Kaileena wasn't sure if that was the right earth word for it even questioned it more with the way Helios was reacting to it. "It is a plus we women fight as well as the men do, we can't do such things with swollen belly's and waddling about the place. And it doesn't get in the way of having hot sweaty sex." Oh yes, she was related to Zarda in the way they usually spoke whatever came to mind without thinking that it'd bother people. "I do plan on telling her. I just hope she doesn't try to undo what's done, she could end up losing her wife." Could Zarda die if Circe decided to try and change her back? It could happen, but Zarda would probably be more mad at her than anything.
Zarda landed again, she looked up only to notice the shiny was gone where had it went? She looked around, but there was no shiny anywhere. That's when she realized she wasn't alone anymore, she turned and hissed at the strange warm bodied person near her. She took away the shiny! She must pay for that!.
Kaileena leaned into Helios "Keep on shining sun god I enjoy the warmth on my skin." She smiled at him before disappearing to join her daughter and daughter-in-law. And to keep one from killing the other. As well as keeping Circe from trying to change Zarda back. She appeared just in time to catch Zarda keeping her from attacking Circe. Just holding onto Zarda her skin was being sliced up causing her to bleed a lot it was expected. She finally was able to get Zarda on the ground long enough for her to create a ball of light for her daughter to chase around while she talked with Circe. "First thing's first. Don't try and change her back this has to happen." she went on to explain everything to Circe like she did with Helios.

"Yes, that's the right word, but usually our changes aren't this… extreme," Helios tried to explain. "Anatomy changes and all of that, but… I'll find you a human physiology book if you're really that interested in the details and differences." His knowledge of human biology only extended so far and now was definitely not the time to discuss such things. As for the difficulties related to a pregnant belly, that all depended of who it was that was pregnant. His wife didn't exactly waddle and she made sure no one ever said she did, even if it was true. "There are ways to work around a pregnancy if both people are in the mood," he mentioned nonchalantly, briefly considering adding a copy of the Kama Sutra to go with that biology book.
"I'm sure that, if you explain things to her, Circe won't try anything stupid. She might not be happy, but she won't do anything to hurt Zarda," the sun god explained. He had been doing so well to pay no attention to Kaileena's cleavage and the fact that she was dressed so scantily, but when the alien woman leaned in close, Helios gripped the chariot rail until he was white-knuckled. This was going to be a very, very long day, and would be made that much longer if Kaileena decided to sunbathe.
Circe was more than a little shocked to discover that Zarda didn't know her or her mother, if her fighting was any indication of her mental state. Clearly the change had been more than a physical one. "If this absolutely needs to happen, then I won't change her. But I'm still not happy about this," the goddess stated, watching her wife chase the ball of light around like she was an overly large housecat. "And here I thought the egg-laying was the oddest thing about your people. The change affected her mind as well I take it?" The worst part was how much she wanted to comfort and hold Zarda in her arms, though she would bleed more easily than Kaileena. "What do I need to do while she's like this? She can't go around chasing balls of lights for the next few weeks, but neither can she have free range over Olympus. People would get hurt or they would think her a monster and try to kill her."

"Not everything is going to be the same between races you grow out and up while we completely change how we look. By the time this is all over with, you wouldn't know Zarda if you saw her. Could be useful I'm sure they'll start mating soon. Which means I could be coming back and staying for some time." She didn't know which of them would be having the children if it was Zarda she would be here a long time but if it was Circe she might not have to be here for very long. "We're different in many ways the way we have children, the way we become adults, that you humans are monogamous with sex and breeding while we're only monogamous when it comes to breeding." she said stating some of the differences between them.
"Let us hope it'll just put her in a bad mood then." she could deal with Circe being moody over it, but she didn't want Zarda getting hurt because Circe thought she could fix it. Kaileena had noticed how Helios was reacting to what she was doing, she found it amusing. But her daughter came first before she decided to play with any humans if she was in the mood to.
"Neither am I, actually. This week should have been spent preparing for this to happen for reasons neither of us knows it happened sooner. I don't know what could have triggered it." she watched her daughter run about a lot of the reason was to keep her from attacking anyone as well as burning up all of her energy "If things had happened the way they should have she wouldn't be acting like this. I'm assuming because she hadn't been prepared her mind shut itself down in a way as it would do with anyone who had gone through something this traumatic." Kaileena thought about what Circe could do to help "I'll need to be alone with her I might be able to return her mind so she won't be attacking everything. You'll need to change the flooring in your home, I don't think she'll enjoy sliding or falling all over the place."

Helios quietly listened to Kaileena explain things, but one point did stand out to him. "You'll be coming back to stay if they have children? Do you and your husband want to be closer as the grandchildren grow up?" That was actually sort of a nice thing for them to do. Helios was aware that it took quite a bit of traveling to get to Zarda's home planet, so a closer proximity would be nice. But, there was at least one thing that Kaileena got wrong in her description of humans. "Not all of us are monogamous when it comes to sex. I'm married, yes, but I've had my share of lovers in the past, as has Circe. I think relationships are an individual choice when it comes to sex. In fact some stay celibate their entire lives."
Helios frowned at the idea of his daughter being in a bad mood, but he had to agree. That was something they could easily fix. A dead wife and pissed off alien queen, though? That would be harder to handle and fix. Watching Kaileena as she left, the sun god got the distinct impression that she was flirting with him, and, if he wasn't busy with his current job, he would most certainly tease and flirt back just a bit more, but the sun could only pause so many times in the day. Maybe they could get together later.
There wasn't much Circe could do. She was not about to fight Kaileena in this decision, nor was she about to argue or demand to get her own way. The goddess simply nodded. "Do what needs to be done to get her well. You know how much I love and care for her, Kaileena. I will leave you two here. Once you're done, Zarda should be able to lead you to our home. I'll make the proper changes to the house and have a guest suite created as well," she told her. "Lyta will be happy to see you again." Upon mentioning her child, Circe remembered that she now had five other children that were technically hers. That would be quite a surprise for Zarda's mother. "And, there will be things I need to tell you. We need to catch you up on what has happened since we last saw you." With that, the goddess was gone, leaving Kaileena to deal with Zarda.

Helios had misunderstood her, but he did bring up interesting thought "Not what I had meant, but that might not be a bad idea. My children have been running all the worlds in our kingdom for some time now and we've hardly spent any time with Zarda maybe it's time we did live closer and get to know her better." Where would they live? She wasn't sure, but that was something she would have to think about later when her daughter wasn't in the right state of mind. "Circe was single that's not the same thing." She did know Circe had been married once before and she killed him she didn't know why Circe killed her husband and didn't really care that had been in the past and she had her reasons. "Do you truly have an open relationship or do you just have a wandering eye? There is a difference between the two."
"I'll take good care of her Circe. She'll be disappointed Xander isn't here." She knew Lyta loved having out having fun or getting into trouble with her husband. Kaileena raised an eyebrow, wondering what they would need to catch up on. "Alright, as soon as I'm done with Zarda we can talk unless you want to wait until later?" she wasn't sure when a good time for them to talk would be. What had happened since the last time she was here that Circe needed to fill her in on? As far as she could tell neither of them were with child so it wasn't that or had any because Zarda would have contacted her if that was the case.
Early morning turned into late afternoon by the time they showed up at Circe's home "Sorry it took so long Zarda was being stubborn over the whole thing. But I think she's okay now." Kaileena told Circe as she followed Zarda inside. Kaileena watched Zarda wander about looking at all the things everything must look different when your somewhat smaller and on all fours for the most part. "I do hope your pet's don't attack Zarda." she didn't want either of them getting hurt though Zarda would probably be the one doing the most damage.

Yes, Helios had misunderstood what Kaileena had meant, but he did smile at the idea of them moving closer to be with their daughter. He also wondered how Circe would take the news, especially if, as Kaileena seemed to be hoping, one of them became pregnant. Was she thinking it would be Zarda? That would be quite the interesting bit of development, since she didn't exactly seem the child-bearing type. "Circe may have been single, but most of the men she pursued, she had been infatuated with most deeply." But then again, all goddesses seemed to fall in love easily. Perhaps it was a curse and they just didn't know it. As for his own relationships, Helios became just a little quiet. "It…. varies? My wife does not like to share and, in the past, traveling as I do has allowed me to discover many beautiful women. That is mostly over with nowadays though. I admire, but try not to touch," Helios admitted.
"Tell your husband he needs to visit more, though I'm sure Lyta will inform you of that just the same," Circe informed her. This unexpected visit would do her daughter some good. Lyta was a very happy young woman, but she sometimes allowed sadness to hang around her like heavy clouds. She simply was an emotional child and, despite her upbringing and childhood, Circe couldn't always fix it. "We can talk whenever you would like. The news I have to share is nothing of dire consequences, but I would rather have it come from myself or Zarda than rather have you discover it through other means." Circe did wonder how Kaileena would handle learning that she was a grandmother of sorts.
Circe did not mind how long it took the two of them, just as long as Zarda no longer felt the need to chase shiny things or try to attack random people. Besides, it allowed the goddess time to alter their home accordingly. Carpeting had been placed in every room, the doorways and halls widened to allow Zarda an easier time turning with the tail of hers, and Kaileena had been given her own private guest suite. Seeing Zarda on all fours made the goddess' heart twist in sadness and she sank to her knees. When they had decided to stay with on another, Circe had made a promise never to turn Zarda into one of her beasts without her consent, not even temporarily or in a moment of anger. It had been a difficult thing to do and there had been times where she had nearly broken her word, but now, seeing her in this state just reaffirmed the fact that she would never do such a thing to her wife. "My pets know better than to hurt her," she stated simply. In fact, it seemed that they were all avoiding the new creature until they could figure out who or what she was. "Zarda?" Circe called, holding her hand out. It was an old habit from keeping pets, but she meant no disrespect. "Are you all right?"

"That must have caused a lot of problems with her." Anyone who was so easily infatuated and had magic with a temper like Circe's whoever she pursued must have felt her wrath in the end. "That must be hard always looking, but never able to touch." Kaileena herself never had to deal with this problem in that way she's had lovers that thought she belonged to them and no one else could have her. She either dealt with them herself or let Xander deal with them.
"A little shiny man gave me the idea about moving closer to get to know Zarda better so we might get to visit a lot more." Maybe Circe could give her an idea of where they could live she knew earth better than Kaileena and Xander did. Lyta could hang out with Xander. "Then in the morning would be best if you want me to know this news before anyone else can tell me." The sooner the better because whatever it was, it most likely would find its way to her before Circe can tell her. She wasn't going to be out in public today just dealing with her daughter everyone else can wait.
Zarda stopped what she was doing when Circe called her name she looked over at the purple haired woman for a moment before making her way over to her. She looked at her hand briefly before plopping down in front of Circe laying her head on her wife's right leg while moving her tail out of the way so no one would trip or step on it. She closed her eyes. Yep she might have just turned Circe into a pillow without hurting her.

"Yes, she handled every rejection in the same or similar manner. She was already getting a bit of a reputation for her transformative abilities, but I think young men just saw that as a challenge. To see if they could break her of the habit," Helios informed Kaileena. It didn't always work, but one could easily tell who Circe favored by what she turned the men into. The upper up they were on the food chain, the better. "I have my wife and I have my imagination, Kaileena. They both make me happy," he answered with a playful smirk.
Of course her father would offer such a thing to Zarda's mother. Not that Circe minded, but it was definitely something they would deal with after Zarda was back to normal. "For now, I would think it best for you to stay close to us. Once this transformation is over with, then we can discuss living arrangements." Clearly, the goddess was not in the right state of mind, worrying more about her wife than anyone else. "Yes, we will talk in the morning about all that has happened. Thank you, Kaileena, for arriving when you did. If there is anything you need, anything at all, just ask the house attendants. They will provide."
Circe watched as her wife curled up against her, blinking back tears that threatened to fall. She was not about to move, knowing better to disturb Zarda when she was so exhausted. Carefully putting her arms around the black carapace, Circe held her close. She did not care if Zarda made her bleed, she simply wanted her to be comforted. But, the goddess knew how much it would pain her wife to see her hurt, so, with a few muttered words, Circe modified and toughened her skin, making it harder to pierce. They stayed like this for the rest of the evening, asking not to be disturbed and turning away any visitors that were not Kaileena. An odd move, but nothing to out of the ordinary since the Olympians knew that Zarda and Circe took whatever quiet time they could manage. It wasn't until the sun rose again that Circe realized she had dozed off still holding her wife, though she had no idea who had provided the blanket and mass of pillows beneath her. Blinking, she sat up, heart dispairing when she saw that Zarda was still unchanged. Yes, she had foolishly hoped it had been a simple spell and that Kaileena had been wrong.

"So that's where all her pet's came from." She knew Circe had a number of them hadn't seen them all. She had wondered how Circe ended up with all of them. Like the tiger Lyta loved so much and the name she couldn't ever remember other then it started with a D. "Pretend your wife is one of those women, do you?" that could be fun sometimes but not always.
Kaileena left them alone for most of the night until Zarda managed to free herself from Circe to go find her mother looking for food. Not wanting Circe wake up created a copy of Zarda for the goddess to hold while she slept. That taken care of the two left the house to find Zarda something to eat, which wasn't very easy until they got help from a redheaded goddess she called herself Babs the woman brought up a few cows which were devoured before Zarda took off. Thanking the redhead Kaileena followed after her daughter wondering where she was going.
It took a while before she finally found Zarda sort of she was no longer the little lizard monster, but now a rather large egg inside what looked like some kind of bathhouse. A rather strange place for her to change in and there was no way she could question Zarda about it. Instead she sat with her back to the wall waiting for Zarda to either hatch or Circe to come and find her she didn't know who would find her first.
