No, Idunn did not think Zarda was stupid. She was simply worried that, due to the large amount of goddess either being kidnapped or threatened with kidnapping in her time, Adlrif would think something had happened to her. Idunn was just taking precautions. If it wasn't her being kidnapped, it was Freyja. Either way, the outcome was always the same; Thor barging in and throwing his hammer around at enemies. The last thing she wanted was for Sif to have Mjolnir thrown at her face.
Nodding at Zarda's explanation, Idunn took her hand. "Ruling gods do not have an easy life, and in your case that is especially clear. But, eventually, the dust will settle and peace will happen. Maybe then you will have time for children. That is what is so interesting about you Greek gods. You do not age like those who live in Asgard. You do not need apples of youth and have all the time in the world."
Idunn let Sif search for their accommodations and the goddess contented herself by looking at their surroundings and the interesting little gadget that her future wife had. This little bit of exploring continued as they made their way to El Rodat. Of course, she was well aware of the stares they were getting, and though she did not speak the language, the hushed whispers and tones she heard were enough for Idunn to understand, making her hold tight to Sif's hand. "Perhaps we should have dressed more appropriately?"
Her worries were forgotten once they arrived at El Rodat. It was a large, whitewashed building whose grounds were covered with all sorts of flowers in bloom and shade producing trees. The exterior was beautiful but unassuming, giving Idunn no clue of the elegance that awaited her inside. Once in the lobby, the goddess stood quietly as Sif talked to a woman behind the front desk, and she had to keep reminding herself that this was all a gift from Zarda, that she did not owe the goddess anything. Still, a little voice in her head said that she would need to do something nice for her.

“You guys stopped aging as well you know. You don’t need the apples and Thor broke the life and death cycle for you guys. And now you have all the time in the world to do whatever you want.” Zarda pointed out that they were in the same boat now. “So you have a lot of time on your hands now.”
“Or they never saw a woman with a sword before.” Out of habit Sif brought her sword because you never knew what would happen. But she would leave it in their room or most likely the car just in case something came up. She didn’t pay too much mind to them unless they tried to do something. Otherwise there was no point in worrying about it.
They were lead to their room which happened to be the best one they had. A little Asgardian gold got them the best of everything. Sif thanked the man as she took the keys before closing the door. She turned around to look the place over and it was huge and it had everything and an infinity pool. Plus a great view of the ocean. Walking over to the couch Sif grabbed the remote and turned the TV on flipping the channels until she came to the weather channel. She wanted to know what it was going to like today before they headed out to do anything. “Looks like it’s going to be hot today.” She turned to Idunn “What would you like to do? We can stay here and think cool thoughts in the pool, go wander the city and see what we can find or head to the beach?”

Idunn wasn't so sure about Zarda's claim of no longer aging. After all, Idunn was not a part of this time and cycle, so, in all likelihood, it was quite possible that she would still need her apples in order for her to stay youthful and desirable to her future wife. Even so, the goddess kept those thoughts to herself rather than make herself seem the fool if she were wrong.
"Then they are the foolish ones. How else do they expect to protect their city?" Idunn asked. None of the people they saw had weapons of any sort, an odd thing to lack in the goddess' opinion. But then again, perhaps there was something far more powerful keeping them safe.It was that or Midgardians were a foolish lot who always thought they were safe.
Their room was…. a palace. Only Odin and Freyja's chambers had been as elaborate and luxurious. The goddess explored her surroundings as Sif settled down in front of the… to be honest, Idunn wasn't sure what the device was. It hung on the wall, but it was not a tapestry, as it was both thicker than cloth and stiff, and the pictures moved as well. In fact there were many things in the room that she was not familiar with. For example, the kitchen was filled with metal containers and their purposes she could not begin to discern other than the inside of the largest one was cold. So cold that there was ice inside the upper portion. How it could be possible while the outside was warm enough to melt a Jotunn, she was not sure.
Not wanting to let Sif know she was both wary and ignorant of technology she clearly took for granted, Idunn slipped outside to the pool. At least here was something she knew. Not seeing anyone around, but not really caring if anyone was watching, Idunn removed her clothes before entering the cool water. She submerged and stay under for a long while, trying to clear her head of all the fear and uncertainty it was filled with. Finally surfacing, she heard Sif speak and though she didn't answer, Idunn assumed her actions would be answer enough for the shieldmaiden of Asgard. If she wanted to be honest, Idunn was perfectly happy to stay in this suite the entire duration of their stay.

“Not everyone carries a weapon now day’s plus they don’t use swords anymore. They have more deadly weapons to use on one another.” Not as deadly to them most bullets would only leave a bruise on Asgardian flesh.
Sif watched Idunn as she explored the kitchen mainly to make sure she didn’t end up hurting herself or setting something on fire. She did find it a bit amusing that Idunn was in awe of the freezer. She moved back so the small blonde didn’t know she was watching her and went back to the T.V. until she had an idea grabbing the phone and menu she orders a number of different dishes from room service. Lots of different things for them to try. When she was finished she went out to find Idunn to let her know.
When she found her future wife “I…” She trailed off when she realized that Idunn was naked “I uh I um ordered some food….us. It’ll be here soon.” She finally managed to get out. Her brain was fried from everything that’s happened in the last few days. It’s a wonder you don’t see her eyes glazed over and drooling from everything that’s happened up until now.
Leaving Idunn to her pool fun Sif headed back inside into the bathroom where she stripped off everything before stepping into the shower turning the hot water on and just letting it run over her sore and abused body. She placed her arms on the wall and rested her forehead on them as she tuned the world around her out. It was going to take a while to deal with all of this. Being taken over by something dark then being forced to marry a woman she hardly knew. On top of all that she was a virgin goddess and Sif wasn’t. The shieldmaiden sighed to herself what was she going to do? To many hats to wear and Sif wasn’t sure if she could handle all of this. Part of her just wanted to run away and never look back.

If the weapons were so deadly then it made sense that not everyone would carry them. They most likely had guards in the city and they were the only ones who could handle such weaponry. And, if Midgard was so advanced as it seemed, then surely the guards had conveyances that allowed them to travel the city in rapid fashion in order to deal with any danger that threatened the citizens.
Feeling eyes upon her, Idunn turned to see Sif watching her from the water's edge. She couldn't help but smile and chuckle a little as the expression on her face, and how she spoke, almost matched what younger men would do when they would, accidentally or not, stumble upon Idunn as she bathed. Of course, those that sought her out intentionally would quickly learn not to repeat such actions, but by the lack of a coherent sentence on Sif's part, Idunn could tell that she had not expected to see her in the water and nude.
However, the mirth she was feeling quickly disappeared as the woman retreated back inside the room. She had expected Sif to join her. After all, hadn't swimming in the pool been one of her options for the day's activities? Climbing out of the water, the goddess grabbed a nearby towel and went in search of her friend. Finding her in the shower, Idunn quietly watched and listened, and though she never said anything, Sif's body language was clearly showing how distressed she was. Her heart breaking and not being able to see a friend feeling so troubled, Idunn quietly opened the glass shower door and stepped inside, not carrying that the towel she was wearing would get soaked; Sif would probably feel better about her modesty right now anyways.
Idunn wrapped her arms around Sif's waist and gently hugged her from behind, hoping it would comfort her. "It is all right, Sif. I'm scared too. But, you have me and I have you, and together, I think we may be able to make it. Do you not agree?"

It only took moments for Sif to realize she wasn’t alone in the bathroom. But she didn’t say anything or turn around she did hope she would have some time alone before Idunn came looking for her. She wasn’t really sure what Idunn was going to do or was doing. Other than watching her while she tried and drowned everything in the shower and start over again. Or something close to it.
Then she heard the shower door open what on earth was Idunn doing? she wondered just before the woman wrapped her arms around her in a hug an awkward one at that. “It’s not so much being scared as your a virgin goddess and I’m not. I know you said I could do that with other people but that would be considered cheating and I’m not the type to do that. I just...I just don’t know how far to go with things.” she said to her "And I don't want to force you into anything you don't want to do." she added.

Idunn felt Sif tense up almost as soon as she wrapped her arms around her. That did not bode well for their relationship, did it? Letting go of her, she placed a hand upon Sif's shoulder and quietly listened to her words. "I am a virgin, yes, but you act as if that is the absolute definition of my nature. You have spent too much time with the Greeks. They like to put people in categories. Their virgin goddesses are strictly that." She sighed, knowing she wasn't explaining things as best she could in this situation.
"I know I am not learned woman when it comes to bedroom activities, but, unlike my first night in Bragi's bed, where I was terrified and entirely ignorant, I am not afraid of you, Sif. That night we just laid there and eventually he fell asleep, but I did not. My mind presented options and fantasies of what could happen were I to let my guard down. I did not sleep at all that night. You saw me the next day… the you who was Thor's wife, and without me saying a word, you knew I had had a rough night of it. You hugged me and told me it was okay. We spent the day together and though Bragi never touched me in all our relationship, your words put me at ease when he and I slept in the same bed together."
Turning Sif to face her, Idunn looked up into her eyes. "I have never had an interest in sex and I do not know why, just as I am sure you have never had an interest in the loomcraft or the act of making mead, but know that I would not promise to take you as a wife if I did not love you. Whether it be as a friend, a sister, or as something deeper… I do not think you could force yourself upon me, Sif. You are a different woman, but I still know you and you are a good woman. I want to try and make you happy, and, if how you looked at me earlier was any indication, I think we are on the right path. If things continue as they do, I think you will be a wonderful bedroom teacher." Her eyes drifted over Sif's body, noting the cuts and bruises she had sustained during her time in the woods. Her fingers traced over one large mottled bruise on her arm. "I don't like to see you pained. How can I help you feel better? I will do anything you ask."

“Well, you kind of were married and the men of your time where pigs. Granted that hasn’t really changed much other then they take more bath’s and brush their teeth.” Men really haven’t changed all that much if she really thought about it. “And a teacher of many other things like showing you why the refrigerator is cold on the inside and warm on the outside.” she smirked a little “Idunn I don’t expect you to know what everything is. It’s okay to ask. It’s how I learned and Thor only he broke a lot of things…”
Sif looked down at herself before looking at Idunn “The pains of being a warrior this is usually how I look most times.” most of the time she didn’t bother with it only dealt with what was bleeding and the rest healed on its own. “It’s nothing to worry about unless I’m bleeding.” she didn't really think it was a big deal. She turned the water off before stepping out and grabbing a towel to dry herself off. Sif then slipped on a white robe because the waiter would be here sooner or later and she didn't want him to see her naked when she answered the door. She did hand Idunn the other robe so she wouldn't have to walk around in a wet towel. "What questions do you have? I know you must have some." The small blonde must want to know what all the strange things were in their room.
She was about to say something when she heard a knock at the door, leaving the bathroom, she headed to the front door opening it up to see a man with a cart full of different things all covered to keep them warm. She told him where to set it all up which he did and left, leaving the two women alone again. The main dish was Paella there was also Croquetas, Patatas Bravas, Empanadas and Churros Con Chocolate to end the little feast for two. Sif also got a few different drinks for Idunn to try some alcoholic and some not.

"Yes, I know what men are like in my time, Sif. But Bragi was different from most, and even then I was scared," Idunn admitted. "I… I don't want to go out today. Can we stay inside so I can know you better?" It was a simple question, but one that would make her feel that much better if her request was granted. Right now Sif was her only constant thing in the world, but even then it was an unsteady one.
Idunn frowned at the notion that bruises and cuts were a normal thing for warriors like Sif. "It's how you look most of the time? I don't want my wife to get blood all over the rugs and bedsheets. I want you to take better care of yourself," she told her. "No more running off to do nonsensical, death wish missions. You are a warrior, but not one who needs to seek death so often." Exchanging her towel for the robe, Idunn followed Sif back into the main room, though she made sure to stay quiet and out of the way until the server had departed.
Once the food was ready, instead of diving into all, Idunn curled up on the couch. Despite having not eaten much during her captivity and not taking a meal in Asgard, save for one of her apples, she did not feel at all hungry. More than likely it was all due to nerves, but it was a feeling she could not easily shake. "I do not know what questions to begin with, Sif. How did you fare when you first visited Midgard? Why is it that Midgardians seem so advanced in some areas, but are stupid and blind in others? I have never understood that." As she talked, Idunn found other question blossom easily in her mind, so she let them slip quickly to her lips. "What will you become now? Still a shieldmaiden or something more? Will I learn the sword as well or would you choose a different weapon for me?"
Her talking returned her appetite and the goddess eyed the food before daintily picking up one of the patatas bravas and eating it. The food was spicy, though only enough to add a little kick to it, but still, Idunn had never encountered such spices before. Her reaction was subdued, as she didn't want to seem ungrateful to Sif for ordering them a large and expensive looking meal, so she quietly allowed her eyes to water before eventually reaching for a glass of water. "Is all Midgardian food this… flavorful? A box that has ice in it during the heat of summer, a moving frame that informs you of the weather, and food that has unexpected tastes. What else should I be aware of, Sif?" She figured this would be the best way of asking questions about things she didn't know, rather than just pointing to the various items and being blunt about her ignorance.

"We can stay here I don't mind." Sif replied she didn't really want to go out right now and from the looks of it neither did Idunn. "I do bandage myself up the best, at least. I try not to bleed all over everything if it can be helped." It's not like she just let's bleed until it stops on its own she does first-aid on herself and if she really needs it she'd get help with the ones she can't reach on her own. "I'm a warrior who helps keep Asgard safe as well as the people who live in it which now includes you. I'm going to do what needs to be done to keep you safe." Even if that meant she was going to die she would gladly welcome death if it meant keeping Idunn safe.
"Not too bad. Thor and I were on the rocks I didn't understand why he liked Midgard, so much one day he decided to show me why bringing me here I didn't much like it at the time that's when he decided to break it off with me well that and he was seeing a Midgardian." Sif thought on Idunn's second question "Common sense most people seem to lack it now days. Then they blame everyone and everything before blaming themselves. Stupid people get killed." she explained the best she could or at least her view on it. "I will always be a shieldmaiden and will always be one. If you want to not everyone has to be a warrior. If you don't want to do it you don't have to."
A small smirk appeared on Sif's face while she was watching Idunn try Midgardian food for the first time. "Some of it, but not all." she pushed the plate of Croquetas towards the blonde "These just have ham and cheese in them and shouldn't set your mouth on fire." Sif had made sure she didn't get anything overly spicy "That's going to take a while to explain everything that's changed from your time to mine." She began to explain everything while using whatever she could find to show Idunn what each thing looked like or could do from cars to guns and everything in between. By the time Sif had finished Idunn should have at least the basic idea of how everything worked.

Hearing that they could stay in made Idunn relax immediately. Her stomach was still in knots, but she thought she could be at ease at least somewhat, even with the current tumult of emotions going through her head. "I know you can heal and bandage yourself, Sif. I did not assume that you couldn't. I just… I want you to know that you do not have to be the solitary warrior. I will help heal you and I do not mean with apples. Zarda would not have suggested to pair us together if she did not see something good. I will help you in every way I can. Even if it is to dry the tears that you do not shed." She embraced her quietly, holding her close and trying to learn the rhythm of Sif's breathing and her heart. Eventually, the goddess spoke again. "You keep Asgard and its inhabitants safe and I will keep you safe. It is what couples do. It's what you taught me." Idunn knew that couples protected each other and held one another up when they were in danger of falling, and she swore that she would never let Sif fall.
"Thor has always been and will always be rash and unthinking, even when he grows smarter. Though I never would have thought he'd fall for a woman of Midgard. Is she royalty? An enchantress? Is she well endowed and have loose morals?" Those were the only real reasons Idunn could think of for Thor to choose a mortal, but the last guess was more of a joke than anything else. As for learning to fight? "I know you won't force me. I was just curious for your opinion, Sif. Is that not what couples do? Ask for each other's opinions when it comes to things?"
Idunn cautious nibbled on a croqueta, and finding that the filling what not at all spicy, rapidly ate three more, her hunger suddenly roaring back to full strength. "You need to eat as well. If you were in the woods for a long period, you need to fill your belly. Fill it with something wholesome and good." The goddess remembered the fact that Sif's mouth had been covered in blood, a clear sign of what she had been doing. "And I do not like to eat alone…"
Idunn listened quietly to the explanations, quickly linking things together, mostly because the television was still on and the images helped her learn. Even so, some of what Sif explain made her smile. "The Midgardians would have thought half of this was magic in my time, but now they use it as every day items without a thought." Satisfied, Idunn scooted a little closer to Sif, leaning her body against just for the comfort of someone to be close to. "Thank you for your knowledge and guidance."

"This will take some time... to get use to." Sif wrapped an arm around Idunn there was a lot she needed to get used to. Yes, she has hugged her friends before but this was much different then that all of this touching was going to be different than just hugging her friends. Yes Thor and her had their thing and did a lot of that, but that was many, many years ago when they were young adults. There were many years of loneliness in between then and now to make her forget how to do things. "And I know you'll help him when I'm hurt or just need someone to be there for me." the whole you taught me these things even though you actually hadn't was still very strange.
"Jane Foster is none of that, she studies the stars and what might be out there. I do not know why Thor had fallen in love with her there is nothing special about her." After a bit of looking she found a picture of Thor's mortal and showed it to Idunn. "She doesn't fight or even cook. I don't know why Thor likes her so much." but he did and now he was gone and Jane would never see him again that is if she was alive that was something Sif didn't know and really wasn't planning on finding out. "Picking up a weapon makes you a target I don't want you to be a target."
Sif nodded before getting back to her plate of food that she wasn't as bothered by as Idunn was she had time to get used to the spiciness of foods. "You won't eat alone?" most of the time she won't be alone, but there will be times when Sif would have to leave for something and she wouldn't make it back for whatever meal and Idunn would have to eat alone or she could invite someone over to join her.
A lot of people didn't think when they used a lot of stuff which causes accidents or kills people. "Just be careful not everyone is thinking when they do things. I don't want you getting hurt because someone else wasn't paying attention." Sif wouldn't take it very well if Idunn got hurt because someone was being stupid.

"I do not think there is a need to rush things. That is why Zarda sent us here, correct?" Idunn asked, looking up at Sif. But yes, she was correct in her assumption. This would take some time to get used to. Sif's arms around her were nice, but Idunn could feel that they were just a little stiff and tense, as if afraid to fully relax around her. They would need to work on that. "I will always help you if you need it, Sif. And I will always be here. I may be small and not the best companion in a battle, but I will hold you close and scare away any nightmares you may have." The goddess assumed that, after the events in the forest, Sif might not have the easiest time sleeping. But then again, she might.
"He wants something different, I think. Perhaps she is how he rebelled against Odin as many boys do when they wish to do something their parents would disapprove of, but not go too far in terms of rebellion. 'I am not happy with you, father, so I am seeing this mortal woman who can not do anything, and I may marry her, I doubt Odin was happy to see him with a Midgardian." The new of becoming a target when you picked up a weapon disheartened the blonde a bit. "A target if I am armed and a victim to be taken if I am not. I do not want to be either," she admitted softly, laying her head on Sif's shoulder and seeking comfort.
Idunn frowned a bit. That wasn't at all what she meant to say and she hated how words sometimes came out wrong. "I will eat alone. I can do that. But, it's not the best manners to be the only person in the room who is eating, especially when the other person is your future wife." Almost as soon as she said it, Idunn knew that statement to be foolish, causing her to blush and look away. "You must think me an idiot, especially compared to the woman Amora. She… she seems to know how to choose her words better than I."
She sat there for a few quiet minutes, trying to think of the best way to fix this moment. Eventually, the goddess looked back at Sif and placed the gentlest of kisses upon her lips. She was not the best at romancing, and not knowing what the shieldmaiden liked made it even harder, but it was a kiss that was soft and warm, albeit quite chaste. She just hoped it would start and lead to something Sif would be happy with.

"Either that or for us to have sex and get it over with because that's how Zarda is." Zarda probably had the most perverted mind of all the goddess most likely putting the sex gods to shame with how much she thought about it. It was unlikely that Zarda would get mad over it she'd most likely agree with it. "I am grateful to be marrying such a wonderful woman. It's just I keep getting thrown into one thing after another that I hardly have time to realize what's going on. I won't be like this all the time I just need time to catch up." Sif was doing everything thing she could to keep herself from drowning in everything that was going on in the world in her life. It was a lot to deal with.
"Not that it did much good. Thor joined other superhumans and gods alike to protect Midgard that he hardly had time to see Jane. Then the world ended and Odin was killed by his own daughter who now sits on the throne." Even now everyone seemed to be walking on eggshells around Aldrif out of fear which Sif found strange she had been around her for so long that she couldn't understand why they would act like that Aldrif really wasn't that bad. Except that one time when she scared a man to death when she was trying to get answers out of him. "I know it's never an easy thing, but.....maybe you could learn to use a bow. Learning how to use it wouldn't eat up all of your time and you can grow targets." Shooting something large was one thing shooting something small like an apple was totally different.
"My ninja skills are great." Sif pointed to the dirty plates a small smirk on her face, "You were so caught up in learning things you must not have realized I was eating the whole time." she did reach over and grab the plate of Churros Con Chocolate "Something else that won't set your mouth on fire." she dipped one of the churros into the chocolate then held it up for Idunn to try. "I don't think you're an idiot as for Amora she's a seductress, enchantress she uses her words, her body, her magic to get what she wants."
What Idunn did next caught Sif off guard that was the last thing she had expected from the blonde she hadn't been expecting that at all. Sif thought about it for a moment before leaning in and kissing Idunn back. They needed to start somewhere and kissing was always a good start right?

"She seems to like sex. From the little that I saw of her, she seemed like a wanton woman," Idunn admitted, remembering the looks Zarda gave her and Sif, as if she were a happy little matchmaker, waiting for her couples to start pairing off and dragging each other to quiet, secluded places. Taking Sif's hands, Idunn held them quietly and gently rubbed the back of them, hoping it would help. "It is just you and me here. And only Zarda knows where we are. I do not think she will tell anyone else, so you and I can breathe and relax." Upon saying those words, the goddess realized how exactly the opposite she had been behaving with her. Sif wanted to relax and breathe, and here she was talking about past love and training for combat. So, out of respect, she let the subjects drop. Perhaps she would pick up one or the other at a later date.
Idunn did not know what a ninja was, but, in order to hide the fact, she simply nodded at the dirty plates before politely taking the churro and politely eating it. It was sweet and quite delicious, but once the two started kissing, the young blonde woman found herself able to relax further, the tension draining from her body. Their actions didn't move much further than lips touching and laying together with gentle cuddles, but Idunn was happy with the speed things were going and neither seemed to want to rush things.
A few days passed and things were going well as far as the apple goddess could tell. They slept in the same bed, though neither touched the other, not wanting to offend or rush things when they shouldn't. Yet they slept close to one another, Idunn having woken up in the middle of the night to Sif growling in her sleep. She slipped an arm around her bedmate and, holding her close, let what little healing magic she had slip into Sif as the room smelled of fresh apples. The shieldmaiden's growls would subside and they would sleep undisturbed until the morning.
On one such morning, Idunn woke up to find the bed empty and cold. Dread and worry filled her immediately and the goddess quickly donned a robe and leapt from the bed. Had Aldrif found out where they went? Had Sif been taken? She had sworn she would marry her friend, but had the All-Mother decided otherwise? All these thoughts filled Idunn's mind as she stumbled, bleary-eyed out of the bedroom, looking for Sif.
