After what seemed liked ages, Amora's eyes finally fluttered open. She blinked slowly, taking in her surroundings. It took her a moment to figure out where she was, but the mixture of Greek and Asgardian aesthetics were a quick giveaway. That, and the fact the color palette of the place was monochromatic, dark, dreary, and lingering on the emo side of the spectrum, let the thunder goddess know she was in Kai's bedroom. The last thing she remembered was fainting into the girl's arms after defeating the… whatever the tentacled monstrosity was.
Amora sat up, or at least she tried to. Her body was stiff and it ached. The fact that she was still in her armor clearly didn't help anything. It took her a few tries, and more than a few minutes, but finally she managed to get upright. Once standing, her armor clattered to the ground in quick succession. Using Mjolnir to change out of it would have been easier, but the hammer was still on Olympus, where Amora had dropped it upon going unconscious. So instead, Kai would likely come home to a nice pile of clothing and armor.
Making her way into the bathroom, Amora stumbled into the shower, where, after turning the water on, she sat upon the cool stone floor, allowing the jets to pummel her muscles and the steaming heat cause her to relax. Thank the gods for immortal style plumbing. She could sit there for hours and the hot water would never run out. Resting her cheek on the still cool tile, Amora mumbled something, knowing, or at least hoping, that Kai could hear her where ever she was. After all, she was in her domain, so it seemed likely a plausible idea. "I'm awake now, Kai. Stealing your shower and never going to leave it. Not until you make me. Let me know what I missed when you get the chance."

Kai wasn't all that far away when she heard Amora talking, she finished what she was doing before appearing in the bathroom. "I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to wake up. I even tried kissing you it didn't work those stories lied to me or I'm not your prince charming." she said as she stripped and joined Amora in the water. "Fill you in on what you missed? I don't even know where to start." She rubbed her face trying to think what was the last thing Amora had been apart of. "Sif and Idunn are getting married." She wasn't sure if Amora knew that or not. "Another artifact appeared for a short time it belonged to Zinda's gal pal until Black Adam took it from her leaving her for dead. Then hell showed up wanting her back instead Zinda made her the new goddess of Wisdom because Viper finally moved in with her girlfriend."
"Zarda went through puberty totally changed the way she looks and she can read minds now." That was going to be a pain mainly because Zarda was a huge pervert and now she had mind powers. "Darkseid showed up not that long ago and killed Dani and stole the Angelus. Which surprised me more than anyone else because she landed in my lap clueless as to what happened. Helios has what's left of her body planning on rebuilding it and killing Darkseid." was that everything? She had to think on that for a while. "I think that's all the major news."

Amora smiled upon hearing that familiar voice. "Did you kiss me in the right spots with the right amount of intention? Perhaps that was your problem because I know I am most definitely your sleeping beauty." As Kai slipped in the shower, Amora happily pulled her close, nuzzling the woman. She didn't realize how much she had missed her even while she slept. "My apologies. What I did was foolish. I did not think Mjolnir would allowed me such a feat as to use it while a Jotunn. Apparently it likes me more than I thought."
The thunder goddess listened quietly to what her girlfriend had to say. "Idunn and Sif? Really? I had heard Aldrif talk of the idea, but I'm surprised they are going through with such a thing, mainly due to Sif. I didn't think she was the type to get married." As for Idunn, Amora simply shrugged. She did not know the woman well, if at all, so her being married was of no consequence or concern.
The rest of the news struck Amora as odd and entirely unexpected. You realize that Viper moving in with her girlfriend is likely not just a coincidence, right?" Amora would have moved homes too, if she had something evil in the works. Less likelihood of things she enjoyed being broken, as well as less chance of being spied on. "Zarda hit puberty?" Those three words were enough to shock the goddess. She really and truly had no idea how to respond to that other than in one way. "How is Circe taking it and will I need to keep my thoughts guarded?"
Upon hearing the news of Darkseid and the deceased Dani, Amora stood and quickly began washing up. Aldrif would likely want her on the battlefield sooner rather than later. "How long since the Angelus went missing? Do we have any idea where Darkseid would have gone and, more importantly, have we warned the others who have artifacts? Sif? The man who became a ice being? They might be targeted as well, Kai. You must know that." She shouldn't have slept so long. "I'll find the Angelus and retrieve it."

"There's more than one spot?" She didn't know that she had thought all she had to do was kiss her on the lips and hope she'd wake up. "Well, that explains a lot." Kai wrapped her arms around Amora "I'm just happy you're awake I missed you. Now I'm competing with a hammer for you." She just couldn't win if sleep isn't claiming her it was the hammer that wanted Amora. "At least you can throw your boyfriend at people or hit them in the face with him."
"They didn't have much of a choice it was get married or Sif was going to be locked away. Aldrif is hoping Idunn will be able to keep Sif grounded she seems to be losing it. Zarda sent them to earth to spend time together and get Idunn used to this time." As far as she knew it was working out and they were happy. "Sif was just lonely and Thor was an ass."
"I don't trust her girlfriend as far as I can throw her if I was human." Kai knew Viper and that red winged bitch was up to something she just didn't know what that was. Not yet at least. "I think you should be more worried over her putting naughty or dirty thoughts into your head. Then her reading your mind." This was Zarda they were talking about the queen pervert. "Freaking out over the whole thing, then getting mad." nothing new really she seemed to do that a lot when it came to Zarda.
"Whoa, whoa calm down." She said, stopping Amora "It hasn't been that long and no we don't but whatever Darkseid is doing he's doing it with Black Adam why? I don't know. And that's being worked on the man who became an ice being is my baby brother his name is Dante. We do know that and we're working on it, we just can't go rushing off and attacking Darkseid without knowing who's all working with him. Darkseid alone isn't someone to mess with if he's working with other's they could be there and kill us all." She kept Amora from running off "No you won't. If the Angelus was killed all life would go with her even Darkseid wouldn't want that to happen. So he'll keep her alive which will give us time to figure out what's going on and stop it all."

"Maybe there is, maybe there isn't. I don't believe we've had the opportunity to test out what does and doesn't wake us up while we're sleeping," she said with a soft smile. "My hammer is not my boyfriend, Kai. At most it just…. I think I understand it without even speaking words, like how you can know what a pet or loved one is thinking. And no, still doesn't mean it's a boyfriend. It just let me do what needed to be done, even though I paid a price at the end." Honestly Amora didn't know any better way to describe her experience other than it was something she shouldn't do many times in quick succession.
Upon hearing that Sif might be losing it, Amora gave Kai a hard look. "I will not be putting her down if the marriage does not work out. Sif has had a hard life, but that odes not mean she is something that should be so easily destroyed if she doesn't fit in with others." Amora didn't know where this sudden affection or friendship towards the shieldmaiden came from, but she didn't want her hurt in anyway. Not anymore, at least.
"Zarda would not put dirty thought in my head. And even if she did, I would know which were my own and which were not. She will not influence me," she smirked before laughing a little at the news of Circe's reaction. "And you are handling it well? You won't be going through similar changes, will you?"
"I do not want to calm down. If Darkseid has dealt with the Angelus so easily, and killed in order to reach his goals, I do not think he would stop or be gentle just because one of the wielders in related to you." Then a thought hit her when Kai mentioned all Life would die if Angelus perished. "Muspelheim and Niflheim…. Fire and ice. Ember Stone and primordial cold. Bring all thirteen together and the universe will be destroyed…" Amora looked at Kai with even more dread suddenly in her eyes. "Years ago, when I first met the Angelus, she showed me a paper that contained symbols of balance, creation, order and chaos; a blueprint for creation. There were Christian symbols as well. A spearhead and something similar to the Patriarchal Cross. When I was shown this, she spoke of a man taking artifacts from their hosts and gathering them in order to destroy and remake the universe. Kai, if this is true and it's happening again, we cannot wait for long," she reasoned.
