Hippolyta appeared in a deserted field, the grass tall and wild, with trees dotting the edge. She wanted some place desolate and void of life so that she could let her anger out fully. She wanted that beast to come back. She wanted that damn thing to be hacked into a thousand bits for what it had done to her parents. She should have been there for her mother. If she had been there then maybe, just maybe they would have survived.
Screaming out in rage, and not even waiting for Aldrif to appear, the young goddess leapt at a nearby tree and swept her blade cleanly through its trunk. As it began to fall, Hippolyta kept hacking away at it, making sure no piece touched the ground until she had cleaved it from the main trunk. Had anyone been with her, she was certain they would have joked about her being the perfect lumberjack. Zarda would have laughed and made a few jokes of her own. The sound of her father's laughter ringing in her ears, Hippolyta kicked one of the logs high into the air and sent a fireball soon after it, burning it to ashes by the time it landed.
And still it wasn't enough. She wanted to find the owner of the beast and do the most horrible things to them. Ripping their flesh from their bones, goring them repeatedly, or even watch them slowly suffocate either through lack of air, water being forced into their lungs, or even by Hippolyta's own hands. She wanted the one responsible for this dead, and she would not stop until it happened. "Aldrif!" she screamed. "Where the hell are you?! Face me before I rip holes in this universe trying to find that creature's master! Are you scared?! The great All-Mother, scared of one who is comparatively a child?!" The rage inside her grew and as it did, so did she, easily surpassing her usual ten foot height. Hair taking on a midnight purple hue, her face became shrouded in shadows from the helm. All that showed were her burning red eyes. Hippolyta didn't even realize how much she and her armor looked like her father, Ares.

Aldrif had appeared not long after Hippolyta had shown up, but chose not to make herself known to the young goddess instead she watched her and how she acted. Pure rage this might be a problem or it'll be an easy fight she hasn't decided yet. "I'm right here." she said no trace of rage in her voice even though she had just been insulted by the younger woman. She had to remember to keep her anger in check she didn't want to make her more powerful after all she was doing that just fine on her own. She noticed how much Hippolyta was now looking like her father Ares. No, she never met the man herself, but she's seen pictures and heard stories.
She would have to be careful with this she didn't need to make her any more powerful "And I'm not scared of you I've eaten things far worse than you for breakfast. To me, you're just throwing a temper tantrum with a sword and magic tricks." might have not been the best thing to say, but if it kept her from destroying the forest or killing animals just because she was in a bad mood. "If you think you're so much better than me child of war, then prove it right here right now. No magic just your sword unless you're, too weak to go without it." A real warrior only needed their weapon nothing more than that she wanted to see how long it'd take her to change to magic in order to get the upper hand.

Hippolyta turned slowly to face her opponent, wanting to savor the moment before she would drive the sword point into her chest. "All hail the All-Mother," she sneered, her anger now focusing upon Aldrif. She glared at the redhead, hating everything about her. "A temper tantrum? You confuse me with my younger self and she has not even come into her full power yet. Will you berate her as well? Perhaps you should. I doubt you could handle two of us," she smirked. "But I will play fair. No magic, no height difference, only swords." As she spoke, the armored goddess shrank back to her usual size.
Shifting her stance, Hippolyta began to circle Aldrif, wanting to learn how her body worked and moved. "You think yourself so special, don't you, murderer? King-and-kinslayer. Your mother must be proud. I'm sure she tells everyone about how you murdered your father in front of all those assembled masses. Do you wonder if the old man's spirit still haunts you after all these years? Or is he just one of many, War?" Hippolyta chuckled, slowly getting closer as she circled. "Ares would have loved you, what with how much blood you spilled for him as you and my sister galloped across the universe. Come now, why be so emotionless? I want to see the fire within you." Suddenly, she whirled, her blade out and slicing low to the ground, as if she were planning to cut Aldrif's legs out from under her. It was a feint though, as Hippolyta swung her sword up sharply to the woman's head.
"I don't want the little angel or the great and powerful All-Mother to fight me," she growled. "I want War. Surely you remember what the felt like. The quickening of the breath, pupils dilating as the coppery smell of blood lingers in the air, mixed with screams and cries of pain. It's exhilarating, and you know it, little horseman." As she spoke, Hippolyta kept driving the attacks home, not wanting to give Aldrif a moment's rest. She wanted that emotionless facade to crack and break. She wanted anger and hatred.

Aldrif didn't seem to be bothered by the look Hippolyta was giving her as it would any other person "That job belongs to someone else and she's doing a fine job at that." Nemesis was the one who was berating the younger Hippolyta as they trained. "I doubt you could handle one of me." she did wonder how long it'll last before the child of war forgot what she said and return to her height and started using magic. Probably not that long.
"You know nothing child if you think you can make me feel bad for what I done to him you are mistaken. Odin paid for his sins here or not I do not care. Nothing for nothing." she watched Hippolyta get closer, knowing soon she would strike like the prey she hunted in the past this is nothing new to the huntress. "I spilt nothing for Ares he was a child and war has been around long before him and it'll be around long after you. Because I am no fool, you want me to feed you, make you strong otherwise you'll become weak." At the last second Aldrif bent back, avoiding the blade that would have gone through her skull had she been anyone else.
"I remember it all it's not something you forget, but you'll get nothing from me, not even my death." she then drew her sword using it she blocked the attacks or simply moved out of the way. "I can do this all week. Can you?" Aldrif was never going to give Hippolyta what she wanted so she could rampage about destroying everything that had been rebuilt by the Angelus they didn't need another Ultron even if she wasn't a robot. "If this is the best the great and powerful child of war can do, I'm not impressed."

"Nemesis? You must need your hearing checked. Nemesis is nothing. Oh, most certainly she plays well at being an instructor, but her tongue is hardly a spiteful thing. I've heard Typhoid degrade men and women far better than her," Hippolyta said with a wicked little smirk. "We'll see who can handle who, little ginger." Perhaps Hippolyta had been hoping to get a little rise out of Aldrif with her Horseman remarks. But then again, perhaps she just wanted to see how the woman would react at all. She had expected something, but not this. This was no fun.
"Nothing for nothing? Preaching philosophy now? A warrior poet?," she laughed, still trying to get a rise out of her opponent somehow. "You are nothing Aldrif. Don't you wonder how you would have been had you not been kidnapped? With the Angels, you were the wingless freak. Did you grow up angry? Clearly you must have. Why else would daddy be a head shorter?" Changing up her fighting styles, Hippolyta slammed the pommel and crossguard of her sword into Angela's face, hoping to stagger her in some way.
The lavender haired goddess snarled repeatedly in outrage as her opponent kept avoiding her blade or blocking her attack. Eyes blazing red, her own anger was enough to keep her going at the moment. "Cocky little thing, I will rip your damn head off!" she yelled, her attacks becoming faster and more frenzied, tactics falling by the wayside. Now the goddess way just mindlessly out for blood, not caring how she got it, only that Aldrif felt pain. A lot of pain and soon.

"Actions speak far louder than words and she could knock you on your ass time and again without even breaking a sweat." Aldrif pointed out, "Typhoid doesn't even come close to those skills even though she loves blades." She raised an eyebrow "I'm taller then you when you aren't high and annoying." that was all the rise she was going to get out of the All-Mother.
"It's a way of life you want something from me, you have to give me something in return or I take my payment with your life." She wasn't a poet or preaching philosophy, it was just how the angels did things even though she knew the truth it was a hard thing to forget when it had been drilled into her head for years. "You have for facts wrong child. I might not have had wings like the other angels, but I wasn't a freak. I became the greatest hunter in all of Heaven. Many wanted to marry me and many did. To them, I was a god I never aged I killed all that I hunted. At least mine still somewhat cared unlike yours that wanted you dead before you were even born." Aldrif blocked the attack just to make her more angry.
Aldrif stopped talking, focusing on her blocking and avoiding the attacks that were coming faster now Hippolyta wasn't thinking anymore it was just blind rage. She just needed to wait for the right second when the younger woman left herself open. There! Aldrif delivered a punch to Hippolyta's side more then hard enough to knock Thor on his ass once she was down Aldrif began her own attack before Hippolyta could recover punch after punch a number of them were delivered to her head to keep her dazed.

"And yet, she doesn't, even with that damn little death wish of hers," Hippolyta countered. "Typhoid may not be able to be at the level of Nemesis, but I'd be lying if I said Bloody couldn't give her a run for her money." That personality could kill things quite easily, and that was the main reason she never came out to play very much. "High and annoying?" That made the goddess laugh a little. "That's the best that you can come up with? You need to work on your taunting," she advised, slamming her shoulder into the woman.
As Aldrif spoke more and more, Hippolyta found less and less that she wanted to say or reply to. Her emotions were reaching a billing point and she was trying in vain to keep them in check as her strikes were blocked one after the other. The mention of her biological father wanting to kill her was the last straw though. That hadn't been her fault. Ares was a cruel god and he didn't know what he was risking when he shot her mother. Or perhaps he did. Hippolyta didn't know and she had never taken the time to ask him before he died. Either way, the sudden rush of emotions and tears left her open to Aldrif's punches.
She could have fought back or teleported away, but something was keeping her there to be abused and beaten by the redhead. A few strikes she had managed to deflect, but the majority hit their target and sent her quickly falling to the ground, her sword dropped beside her. Why had she done this? Why this stupid show of bravado? She was suppose to be the strong and smart older sister, not the idiot who rushes headlong into battle. Yet here she was, getting her ass kicked by the queen of the Asgardians. "I yield!" she finally yelled. "I yield! You win!" Maybe her father had his reasons for trying to kill her in the womb.

"You forget Nemesis is older than mankind Bloody isn't even on the same planet in terms of skill." In fact Bloody was very low on the scale in terms of skill when compared to most of them. She might be the scariest but that didn't mean she was better than the older ones. Bloody might have the power, but Nemesis had the skill and that would be what won the battle in the end. "I don't taunt I state facts your high on violence and completely annoying." Aldrif replied pushing back into the woman.
Aldrif stopped her attacks before offering her hand to Hippolyta "The reason you didn't win this little scuffle was because I have far greater control over my emotions." That's probably why she comes off as cold and uncaring it was something she had been taught at a very young age. That's why you never saw any of the angel's hug or anything like it, they kept their emotions bottled up and unleash them on the battlefield making many other races fear them. "It's also not wise to poke around in people's past many will hate you for it." A lot of people don't want to be reminded of, some things they had done in the past for one reason or another. At least Hippolyta was remotely back to normal-ish.

"I would tell Bloody that," Hippolyta warned. "She would disagree and try to prove herself better just in order to spite you." Yes, it would be inevitably true that any of Mary personas would easily be sprawled on the ground after combat began, but the woman was stubborn and reluctant to give up. Nemesis would, and had in times past, need to knock her out cold just to keep her from harming herself further in their sparring matches. "You will need to forgive what I inherited from my father. The man was never one for strategy," she growled. "But what he lacked in that, he made up for in passion!" Hippolyta yelled while trying to keep up with the redhead blow for blow before having her ass handed to her.
Hippolyta didn't take Aldrif's hand, nor did she actually get up. Content with sit in the dirt for now, the lavender haired woman looked up at her, eyes watering. "You tell me to control my emotions when I've just seen the charred remains of my parents? You ask the impossible. I couldn't even defeat the thing that killed them. They'd be ashamed of me. I wasn't there to help or protect them." She sat there, trying not to dwell on what wasn't while also trying to figure out what to do next. "We can't bury them. Not properly, at least. Not until we get back home. If we get back home. I need to go make sure everyone's okay. I shouldn't have run off like I did. Mom would have given me a piece of her mind, and dad..." She stopped before fresh tears started to flow.
Getting up, Hippolyta dusted herself off. "I'm sorry for saying what I did. When I get like that, it's very easy for me to see what other people have done in the name of violence and war. Not a power I use often or enjoy, but I was hurting and I wanted someone else to hurt as well. Do you forgive me?"
