"Speaking of which, where is everyone?" Normally Zarda could hear everyone babbling on about this or that, but now she can only hear a few and none of them sounded like Lyta so where did the older one go? Or Kai, Amora, Aldrif. What the hell happened to them? Were they dead or something else? She could only hear a few heart beats not enough to cover everyone that should be here just in case some of them weren't talking.

Finally Dante woke up having no idea what was going or had happened, but the place looked like a war zone his eyes landed on Mary, who looked a lot like that woman he had met earlier only way different. Maybe she was that other woman's sister? Had to be right? The woman he met earlier didn't really scream normal to him like this woman did. What was her name? He thought on that for a while until he realized he didn't even know her name well damn. "I feel like my father just kicked my ass all over the place." he was sore and had claw marks here and there but nothing that would kill him. Even though he couldn't remember what had happened or where the claw marks came from and he was they weren't from a woman.

"I'm fine, just bummed out I missed the whole damn fight." She lied thankfully she had years to get good at lying to everyone and anyone it kept her alive when needed. "But I'm happy to see that you're fine.' she moved back a bit knowing messing with your sister was a bad idea even though she didn't have a sister she knew better though. Melina shot up and punched her brother, "How many times do I have to tell you people not to do that to me?!" she hated when people did that to her she didn't find it funny at all.

"Oh yeah, because I'm not crazy enough, you have me go talk to a bunch of stars and people will think I fell off my rocker and got ran over by it." Zarda snorted at the age joke "Oh please my mother looks like an older me and she's way older than I am and she's either older than you or close to your age. And she has a body that would make all the women jealous and she doesn't even have magic. So I doubt I'll sag or get soft when I get older." she would have gone on but Circe ruined their fun. "I'm pretty sure getting blown up by a bunch of killer robots hurts more."

Zarda didn't move or say anything more she didn't want to ruin anything like ending up with one eye or crossed or something when he was done, she slowly opened her eyes, of course the first person she saw was Helios "Dude....that was weird." it didn't hurt so much as it felt strange but it did work. That's when she noticed the worried look Circe was giving her "Have a little faith in your father."

"They're around, Zarda. I'm sure they're fine," Circe told her, concentrating for a moment and trying to find those four that were missing. "Kai is with Amora in Hades. They…. I think they're asleep. As for Hippolyta? She just appeared in the Americas. I…." She shivered as she felt the rage and power that was building up in her. "We need to let her calm down. I don't want you near her until she's normal." Circe didn't think it would be possible for her child to have that much power inside of her, but today was just full of surprises.

Mary smiled when Dante opened his eyes, happy to see him awake. He was quite the handsome man and a small part of her wondered if he was single. "Take it slow. You had a bit of a rough fight. You and Sif both." As she spoke, Mary inspected the claw marks. They would heal in short order, but it was a habit for her to check people for injuries, mainly herself. "I'm sure it feels worse than it looks." She kept wanting to kiss him, a thought that was probably created by Typhoid and which easily made her blush. Normally her other headvoices weren't this insistent or annoying, not since becoming a god.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Xanthius replied, not wanting to say that he spent most of the fight hiding and trying to keep Nemesis alive. "It wasn't that exciting a battle," he lied before getting punched in the face. Falling back, he held his nose, mumbling a quick healing spell. "Fine! That's the last time I make sure you're okay. Gods, Melina! Can't you give me some gratitude just once?! Your body was broken!" He hadn't meant his actions to be a joke. He'd honestly though he was being helpful.

"Hey now, Orion is not just a bunch of stars. That's only his likeness, a photo, if you will. Besides, go don't go dissing people you literally have to drive by when you're up in the sky. Sure, he runs as soon as he see he Scorpion rise from the water, but all and all, he's a great guy. Really." Helios smiled at how Zarda talked about her mom. "I'm sure your mom is a great woman, no matter her age. But the important question? Does her body make Circe jealous?" In response, Circe snorted out a chuckle and rolled her eyes. "That answers my question then. You two are perfect for each other, you know that? Even better sans spackle and duct tape."

Circe couldn't help but blink a little to keep her eyes from watering too much. "I always do have faith in him," she told her softly. "He's the sun. He always rises to the occasion, no matter what." She then saw the grin he gave in response to that line. "No matter how childish or dirty his mind gets, I will always love and trust him."

"Speaking of rising to the occasion, I should get going before your mother starts wondering where I am," Helios replied, giving his daughter a quick peck on the cheek. He also gave Zarda one and softly whispered in her ear. "Keep my child safe. Darkness is on the horizon." With that, the sun god was gone.

Zarda raised an eyebrow "What did I ever do to her?" she hadn't done anything to Hippolyta to earn her wrath so she didn't know why she would have to stay away from her. Other than the whole picking a fight with her which she'd like to see how the war goddess did in deep water. Bet that rage wouldn't help her any other then help her sink to the bottom of the ocean.

Dante was on his feet, glaring at Sif, his eyes glowing blue his hands glowed as well Circe gave the talk to Sif she forgot to give it to Dante. Sif mimic the glow in the eyes and hands only hers was red. The two locked arms struggling with one another until Sif threw him into the wall and was on him before he could react. Her boot on his chest, her sword at his neck "This is a truce or I end things now," she pushed the point in just enough to make his neck bleed but not enough to cause any real damage. He thought about it for a while before answering, "Fine." she took her foot off his chest to let him get up.

Melina couldn't keep it up anymore and just broke down, clinging on to her brother "Our parent's are dead Xanthius! That thing killed them..." she said between sobs. Nemesis just nodded and left the two so they could have time alone to deal with what had happened. She decided to make her way back home.

"Then I'll keep a scorpion in my pocket." mainly to see if Orion would scream like a girl and run away "To be fair, she can't really judge she's never seen my mother naked before. But I do know my mother would give you a hard time." yes, she did mean it like that. "Gods, you'd probably faint if you met her and got to know her." and she wasn't just talking about learning how open her mother's marriage was. Kaileena was touchy feely she liked doing things to guys that would get them in lots of trouble with their wives. If they ever found out. "We're like two peas in a pod because I'm just as childish and dirty minded as he is." probably why they acted the way they do towards each other whenever they're around one another.

And speaking of fighting, when Dante confronted Sif for a second time, only to be slammed into a wall and pinned for his efforts, the goddess looked perturbed. "Keep your word, Dante. Sif is older and far better trained, and if you both start fighting again, you'll both be sleeping for a thousand years." That wasn't so much a threat as a promise.

Xanthius held his sister tight, letting her cry and trying to give her some comfort during this time, even though he himself was shaken from seeing his parents killed. "I know Mel, I know," he repeated, not sure of what to do other than to be there for her. "We'll get whoever did this. I promise," he told her, giving her a reassuring kiss on the cheek. "And hey, you still have me, Hippolyta, Kai, and Dante. You aren't alone here, Mel." Xanthius hoped his reasoning would make her feel a little better.

"I would not faint," Helios countered. "And I would give your mother just as hard a time as she would give me." Before they could get the discussion any further, Circe took her wife by the hand and motioned to the aftermath of the battle. "We have things we need to deal with, damage to fix, and children to both comfort and house. You and Helios can debate things later."
