"Share in the punishment? Oh, I'm so very terrified, Nem," Lyta teased, a smirk playing easily over her lips. It didn't last long though. Despite their best efforts, or rather, despite Lyta's efforts, Nemesis pressed them hard almost from the beginning. Xanthius held his own ground, but only just barely, constantly being on the defensive rather than trying to attack his teacher. He clearly preferred the technique of 'stay alive, don't press your luck'.
When the screaming started and the ice began flying, Lyta didn't have to be told twice. The young goddess teleported out of there as fast as she could, heading straight for her parent's home. "Mom! Dad! Come quick! Something happened in the arena!" she yelled, not really caring i she interrupted anything Zarda and Circe might be doing. Thankfully her mother came running with the speed of summer lightning.
Not waiting to be told what was happening, Circe appeared immediately inside the arena. She surveyed the situation quickly, making note of Typhoid, Xanthius, and Nemesis. Upon spotting Dante, which, due to his increased size, was not a difficult thing, she hesitated as she tried to figure out what had happened. It was a brief hesitation as she remembered that in some situations, it was better to shoot first, ask questions later. Gathering her magic, the Sky Mother brought her lightning down around the creature, forcing it to stay in one place. The heat was so intense that the sand floored melted into glass. If the creature ventured to close to the bars of its cage, the lightning would lash out at it, sending it back to the center of the enclosure. Circe didn't want to hurt Dante, but neither did she want to risk the lives of Olympus with it running free. "Dante! Are you in there and can you understand me?"

“I’m not that hairy to begin with so why would I want to wax anything?” Being a blonde you couldn’t see most of his body hair in the first place and what you could see wasn’t that much. Which is why he didn’t understand Melina’s thoughts in wanting him waxed in the first place.
Dante charged at Nemesis leaving a path of frozen footprints behind him. Having just landed Nemesis launched herself into the air again just barely avoided getting smashed into the wall behind her by the frozen battering ram. It took her a moment to realize she wasn’t as fast as she had thought her right leg was bleeding. Not something she could worry about right now because he was free and still pissed. She jumped back out of the way just as the lightning came down.
She didn’t even have to look to know it was Circe’s doing. Nemesis made her way over to the Sky-Mother just to get away from the lightning and the raging ice man. Just as she got to Circe she was hit in the side and sent flying as both Circe and Lyta had been lifted into the air. Seconds before that had happened Dante has unleashed an icy blast freezing the lightning in front of him. “It’s a good thing I flew.” Zarda said looking down at the the area where they girls had been that was now frozen. “Holy shit he froze lightning!?” Nemesis said after getting up she had who knows how many broken bones that she was ignoring the pain from.
“I’ll keep him busy you guys figure something out.” Zarda placed the two women down before taking to the air and using her flash vision to keep him busy. “I think we're going to need help.” Nemesis said she really didn’t know what else to do in order to stop him from freezing the whole place.

Circe was incredibly grateful for Zarda saving both her and Lyta at the last moment. Looking down at the arena and the creature freezing everything in its path, the Sky-Mother knew better than to keep this fight limited to just the Olympians. Ten years ago, things might have been different, but she was no longer as vain as she was. Holding on to Zarda, she sent messengers to Aldrif, Amora, Angelus, and anyone else she would have thought would answer the call to help. Yes, it might be a bit of an overkill, but she wanted this problem dealt with before all of Olympus was frozen over. "It's a good thing you're faster than ice and cold," Circe told Zarda.
Once the two goddesses were set down, Circe gestured at Nemesis, healing all her wounds and broken bones. Yes, she knew that the woman could do it on her own, but now was not the time to be distracted or slowed by injuries. If she wanted to complain, she could do it later after they were done and Dante was fixed. "I've called for help. Hopefully they'll respond and get here before all of this is frozen over." If not, frankly she didn't know what she was going to do. If the creature that had been Dante could freeze celestial lightning that easily, then taking him down wouldn't be that easy. Circe did have an idea to stall him a bit longer even though she swore upon marrying Zarda that she would never do it to a family member. She quickly and expertly wove a magical web around Ice-Dante and forced his body into another shape: that of a small and furry cotton-tail rabbit. Normally Circe would turn people only into predators, using them in her own little army or personal guard, but she was not about give that sort of opportunity to Dante. It wouldn't be permanent she mentally told herself, just long enough for them to get him under control.
Lyta meanwhile, after being set on the ground, immediately teleported to a vantage point higher up along the arena wall. There she drew her bow and notched an arrow. She didn't want to shoot her brother from the future, hoping that her mother's magic would hold, but if she had to, he'd get an arrow in the eye.

Well the spell did work to a point Dante was now an ice bunny a mad ice bunny that was still freezing everything as he hopped about. Unlike other bunnies he didn’t seem to be running or hiding but on the bunny warpath heading right for Circe and the others with every hop he left a frozen spot behind.
It did work Aldrif and a number of Asgardians showed up along with Angelus and her warriors appearing seconds after them. Sif was with them figuring her Ember stone could keep the ice monster under control. Two things happened in this during this time Dante and Sif noticed each other and the two moved towards one another Sif jumped into the air turning into a dragon as Dante broke the spell jumping into the air as well causing the two to collide with one another in mid-air claws and ice digging into one another.
The two fought in mid-air before eventually landing on the ground. Sif bit Dante on the shoulder as he impaled her with an ice spike. The two didn’t care about anyone or anything else other than killing one another. “And now we have an even bigger problem.” Zarda said watching the two beings duke it out. If she didn’t have to worry about her home being destroyed this would actually be fun to watch just to see which one would win.

All right, so Dante wasn't acting entirely like the rabbit he should have been. Most, when transformed, were either in shock or their animal persona took over completely. Clearly this was not the case. But at least he was smaller and somewhat more manageable. Somewhat.
Everything was under control until the calvary arrived. After that, all hell broke loose. Now instead of one rampaging brute, there were two titans deciding to fight to the death. Circe watched as Typhoid Mary and Xanthius teleported out of the way and into safety before their shield was stepped on. "Who the hell thought that would be a good idea?" Circe asked rhetorically. Of course no one could predict that both Sif and Dante would be so focused on fighting each other. Their rage was both primordial and driven by magic. They were simply the avatars of the powers. Either way, they would not stop until the other was dead.
"We need calm them down. Make them unconscious," Circe told the assembled group which now included Amora, who looked ready for battle, and Hippolyta, who had grabbed Lyta from the top of the arena as she came in. The younger her just stare quietly at the woman, not able to full comprehend what she was looking at. "I can put them to sleep, but I don't think my magic is powerful enough to keep them that way. I'll need help," Circe said, looking at the Angelus. "Please?"
As they discussed strategy, Amora took to the air, intending to keep Olympus from feeling any collateral damage from this fight. Errant ice chucks and gouts of flame were deflected and destroyed in mid-air by lightning and Mjolnir. Rubble and debris were caught and quickly set down by Hippolyta who knew better than to wait for an assignment. Meanwhile, quietly standing out of the way at the back of the group, Xanthius looked on a bit disheartened by all of this. It was all his fault. They would have been training like they should have been if he hadn't been an ass. Now his little brother was possessed by a cursed item.

“No one knew this was going to happen other than the Angelus.” Aldrif stated to the Sky-Mother “Only partly I didn’t know if we were dealing with the Glacier Stone or something else. Or I would have gotten here sooner to make sure Sif didn’t up here as well.” Circe’s message could have meant a lot of things.
“That’s going to take a while to get ready we’ll keep them on their toes so they don’t get wise to this.” Just because they were focused on killing one another didn’t mean they wouldn’t noticed something going on. It was a very small chance of course but it could happen plus it’d keep people from getting stepped on. Aldrif lead those who were either brave enough or foolish enough to take on the elementals including Nemesis once she changed her clothes to her stealth suit much better to run around in then being mostly naked.
Even though Sif was one of her own and a close friend she wasn’t going to go easy on the dragon. Too much at stake to take it easy. Jumping into the air she punched Sif in the head as she double kicked Dante in the chest backflipped landed on the ground only to disappear from sight. Using her speed to attack the two of them without being seen. Angelus watched the others before looking at Circe "I hope this works." she said not really looking forward to dealing with pissed off elementals.

"I'm not blaming you for the additional titan to deal with. I'm simply voicing my frustration at the situation," Circe told Aldrif. "Had I know that this thing was something far older and more powerful than I initially thought, I would have given more detail. As it was, I didn't see how the change happened." Otherwise, the goddess would have most certainly added that a necklace was the cause of all this.
Prepping the sleep spell was an easy thing to do. It was usually one of the earlier spells a sorceress tended to learn, so Circe would have no trouble with it were it an every day occasion. However this was not such the case. Even with the addition of the Angelus' power, she would have to pour every ounce of her will and strength into casting and binding the spell around the creatures. Their size and the age of the magic possessing them, not to mention the fact that they will both conflicting opposites in nature meant that Circe could not falter in any way.
Centering herself, the goddess began the inaction, inscribing the air with arcane symbols and gestures. She wove a latticework around the beasts as they fought, keeping the net of magic far enough away so that they would not notice until it was too late. Chanting the spell over and over again, the words gained strength and power through repetition, and were bolstered even more as Circe forced her power into her bindings. Finally the trap was set and the goddess unleashed the spell on the creatures, making sure that no one else was in the way for the final product. But still, Circe refused to stop there. Trance-like she repeated her motions and redoubled her efforts, pouring even more magic and will in until the spell was heavy, oppressive, and smothered both the dragon and ice giant, bringing them to their knees in the arena. The goddess was only vaguely aware of how her body was aching and the fact that a small trickle of blood was leaving her nose. Most spells of this size, she would have set an altar and performed a ritual to maintain the level of power needed, but this fight had obviously left no time for preparation.

Everyone watched the titans drop from the sleeping spell that had been placed on them and Zarda was ready to catch Circe when she dropped. She knew using that much magic Circe wasn’t going to be okay or walking for that matter. “So...um...anyone know how to heal an iceman or dragon?” Kai asked unsure if using a normal healing spell would work on beings so old. It could be different she really didn’t know. “Never mind.” She then said when the two turned back to normal or as normal as they could be.
Kai made her way over to her brother covering him up before getting to work on healing him. Mel did the same with Sif “We’re going to have to keep these two apart.” she said looking at the sleeping warrior woman. “It’s better to have them better trained over these powers so they have more control. Because eventually they’ll cross paths again and we don’t need this to happen again.” The last thing they needed was for any of the realms to be destroyed or the mortals fearing the gods because of them. "Now that this is pretty much taken care of. Can someone tell me why are there two Lyta's?" Nemesis asked looking at the two in question causing everyone to look at the girls. "One of them is my sister the other one is from this universe." Aldrif eye'd Hippolyta before speaking "Another one of your sisters suddenly appeared here?" Kai went back to work on her brother "Actually all of my brother's and sister's are here. Kind of way we were hoping to talk to you. We were wondering if you could help them get back home." Kai didn't include herself because she really didn't want to go back.

Amazingly, the goddess managed a weak smile and walked a few steps towards the fallen creatures before collapsing herself. Zarda's arms were warm and soft, rather inviting to fall into. "Thank you... You are a very good wife," Circe told her before watching the two creatures revert to normal. That accomplished, she was perfectly happy to lay like a ragdoll in Zarda's embrace until she was fully recovered. After all, things like dignity and class were overrated when you didn't have any energy to move.
"They're…. they're of, um… with one being from Asgard… keep her there. Keep Dante here," the goddess mumbled, trying to still be a ruler and decision-maker. "Keep them separate and train them separately. That seems the best way to handle the situation, does it not?" Amora asked, looking over at Sif. "At least the best way without killing them or putting a magical muzzle of sorts on them," she added.
As for the two Lytas, both looked up, neither liking the attention that was suddenly dropped upon them. The younger was the first to return gazing at the older version of herself. Hippolyta was less trying her hardest not to be annoyed by it, but when the younger tried to reach out and poke her, the older goddess quickly, but gently, took her hand and gave her a firm look. "You don't like people poking you, sweetie, so why would you think I'd like it?" she asked. Lyta gave her a hurt look to which Hippolyta responded by pulling her into a hug and whispering something in her ear which made the younger one smile and relax.
"Them? Don't you mean 'all of us'?" Hippolyta asked, hearing Kai's choice of pronouns. "Mom would want us all back, Kai. You included." Amora stood by quietly, an expression on her face that wasn't quite readable as surprise, sadness, or happiness about everyone questioning whether Kai would be leaving. She didn't belonging this universe, of course Amora knew that, but the thought of Kai leaving, she didn't like it. Love tended to do things like that.

Zarda picked Circe up holding her in her arms “Good to know.” she said happy to be Circe’s legs until she can get back on her own. No one would make fun of the purple haired goddess. It’d take a lot out of anyone that tried to cast a spell like that. “Don’t push yourself I’m more than happy to carry you around until you recover.”
“Sif knows how to use her powers she spent the last decade using them non stop. She’s just never been around the other one.” Kai told Amora “Once the other one is trained with his stone they should be able to control themselves better around one another.” Angelus added in “The last hosts were able to be around each other they didn’t like the each other but they could control themselves...mostly. Ember’s host wanted all the artifacts for herself.”
“And what am I suppose to do? Just up and leave Amora? Or the people I’ve grown to care about. I’m sure Mel is the same way.” It was a hard thing to do go home to be with their parent’s and never see the people they love and care about or stay here and never see their parent’s again.

"I may fake my weakness longer since you said that, you know," Circe smiled, nuzzling her love. She was the queen and she could do as she pleased. Besides, Zarda would likely drown anyone who would laugh at the sight of them. Circe chuckled at that idea, finding it oddly funny at the moment, though not knowing why. Perhaps she was more out of it than she thought.
"Are there more elemental stones we need to worry about?" Amora asked, not wanting to tangle with any wind, earth, or lightning creatures. She wasn't sure how well her powers would fare against beings that shared them. Xanthius quietly made his way over to Dante's unconscious form, sitting next to him and gently laying a hand on the necklace. Should it have been him to be possessed by that ice creature? His little brother had done nothing to deserve this fate.
"And what about mom and dad? You haven't seen dad since you were ten. Mom misses you and you know how she blamed herself for dad going into hiding? You disappearing… she had a near breakdown. I just…" Hippolyta didn't know what to say. If she brought Kai back by force her sister would never forgive her, but if she stayed here, their mother might not handle it well. Unless… "What if… you can stay where you choose, but I just want mom to know you're safe, okay? She'd be happier that way. I'd want mom to see you even if it's for the last time." Amora kept quiet, knowing that this decision was not hers to make, but she was a bit surprised to hear Kai defend her as a reason for staying. Judging by the way Xanthius was glaring at the thunder goddess, he was too, but for different reasons.

“You're so naughty.” Zarda replied before kissing Circe briefly then joining the others now that the chaos is over with for the moment. Easily holding onto Circe as if she weighed nothing at all.
“No. But it does concern me that the artifacts are ending up here instead of the earth. It’s like they're there for the right person to fine at that moment.” Who or what would want the artifacts to have hosts again? Angelus didn’t know and that’s what worried her the most. Was someone planning something? They didn’t need an all out war breaking out anywhere between the hosts.
“I know! Why do you think this is so hard to do? I want to go back but I also want to stay here. It’s not an easy thing to decide on.” Why couldn’t anything ever be easy for her? Just this one time. But no she had to chose again. “Or you know give it some time and asking nicely Reed Richards could build thing so you guys can visit.” Zarda spoke up before Kai could answer. Mel caught the look Xan was giving Amora and gave him a dirty look in return "Stop looking at her like that. You don't even know her and your already judging." she told him.

"I am only as naughty as you allow me to be," Circe admitted with a smirk and enjoying the kiss she was given. It was times like these that Circe wish they could just retreat to her island for a year or two and do nothing but lay in bed together. Perhaps in a few decades, she could give the throne to one of the girls and retire to live a life of relaxation and indulgence with Zarda. But that was truly wishful thinking.
Everyone's attention was on Angelus when she mentioned the artifacts. "How many are there and what exactly can they do?" Amora asked, her protectiveness starting to show through. She had finally gotten used to the idea of being a hero and there was a small following of sorts on Midgard. Little girls liked the idea of the thunder god being a woman. Speaking of little girls, or rather not so little, the thunder goddess walked over to Kai and pulled her into a close hug. "Shhhh, you don't need to decide. Not right now," she told her softly. Upon hearing Zarda's suggestion, Amora smiled. "See? A solution presents itself. We will ask Richards nicely to build this machine, and you shall have the best of both worlds."
"I know what Kai went through, Mel. I also know how you were so eager to help Hippolyta when you got a ahold of the Amora that we know," Xanthius hissed at his sister. "Yeah, okay, sure, what you did to her was very minor compared to Hippolyta's method, but damn… mother of dragons? No wondered you make Nidhoggr tremble. But okay, I'll play nice with her and not judge. The last thing I need is a hammer to the face or for Kai to hit me." Not knowing what else he could or should do, Xanthius got up and walked around the arena, picking up whatever pieces of debris he could. Yes, it would have been easier to just use magic to clean the place up, but he felt like doing manual labor.

“There are 13 in total they each do different things.” She created a massive diagram that had the symbols of the 13 artifacts. “The closer to the middle the more powerful they are.” she then highlighted the three in the middle and two at the bottom. “These are the ones with hosts that we’re aware of. The more powerful one’s have a balance that’s more powerful than either. The Angelus and the Darkness have the Witchblade.” She pointed to the three in the middle “The Heartstone and the 13th has the Coin of Solomon. The Ember and Glacier Stones have Pandora's Box.” She then pointed to the top most “All that’s left is the Wheel of Shadows, the Spear of Destiny, the Rapture and the Blood Sword. Alone they are powerful if brought together with the codex anyone can destroy the universe and recreate it however they want.”
While everyone was talking about this or that Zarda had heard something strange looking around she saw a crack? no it was a rip something was ripping into this universe. She quickly handed Circe off to Lyta to take care of because something told her she was going to need her hands free. “Guy’s something weird is happening.” She said to the other’s while not taking her eyes off the rip as it widened showing some type of landscape it was hard to tell what it had once been now it looked like a nuke had hit it. It showed two bodies it was hard to tell who they had once been “Oh my god! Mom!!” Melia said when she noticed one of the two bodies was wearing the necklace she had made her when she was younger and her mother never took it off.
Melina took off towards the portal before she could get to it a large black tendrils shot out with such speed no one had to time to react. One wrapped around Mel’s legs lifted her in the air then slammed her into the ground with such force the sound of bones breaking could be heard. A second one wrapped around Kai’s neck and began pulling her back towards the portal at the same time it shot a large spike at Xan only he was knocked out of the way at the last second by Nemesis who ended up with the spike embedded in her chest better for her to die than him. A third went for Hippolyta only to be slice in two by Aldrif while Angelus cut the one that had Kai causing her to fall. “I think whatever sent you guys here now wants you all dead.” Zarda said noticing it was only going after the children. “We need to get that thing back through the rip so we can close it” Aldrif said as she stabbed another tendril that was looking for Dante.

Sif had the Ember Stone. Dante had the Glacier Stone. Sara had the Witchblade. Dani had the Angelus. That was four, with the Darkness likely in play as well. "So we are looking for, or at least should be expecting, eight more?" Amora remembered Angelus talking about these things so many years ago, when Sif first had the Ember Stone. To tell the truth, she had always thought Dani had exaggerated things just a bit, or that the powers were on equal footing with all she had seen before. But now, being aware of what they were capable of, Amora clearly thought differently.
Circe saw the crack too, before being handed off to Lyta. She wanted to stay and help, but the goddess knew better. If she remained, she'd be a powerless hinderance, getting in the way more than helping. As the tear grew, she held onto her daughter and told her to teleport them home and into her workshop. If she couldn't do anything in the arena, at least there she could monitor the situation and keep an eye out for more tears. Plus, she could keep Lyta safe.
All hell broke loose after that. One moment, Amora was holding Kai close, comforting her, and the next the girl was torn from her arms. Yelling in shock and rage, the thunder goddess rushed forward, delivering blow after blow on the black tentacles. Mjolnir hummed in her hands, and though there had always been an unspoken communication between the weapon and her, Amora could now practically hear it shout information to its bearer. Mjolnir knew the energy signature, cosmic in origin, and it knew how to manipulate it. But that would have to wait, as Amora caught Kai when she fell free of the tentacles. Multiple lightning strikes kept others at bay as she checked her love for injuries. "Stay out of the way and run if you need to," she told Kai before rushing back into battle.
Typhoid, who had been hanging back during the fight between the elements, because she could do exactly jack against those hulking giants, found this battle more to her liking. She leapt at the tentacles attached to Mel, slicing and hacking away until the girl was free. Then, using her telekinesis, she put makeshift splints on Mel's limbs while circling the both of them in protective flame. That was the one good thing about having multiple personalities; it somehow made multitasking that much easier. She couldn't risk moving Melina, not in her current condition, so she'd have to make a stand here. She wasn't much for healing magic, so she did the next best thing she could think and sent Melina those stupid 'positive vibes' people had always talked about before the world went to hell. "Not allowed to die yet, kid. You've only slept with ten percent of earth's population," she snarked.
Hippolyta just stood there in shock. Seeing the corpse of her mother was not something she could comprehend. It wasn't until Aldrif saved her life did she realize that they were under attack. Any tears that she wanted to shed were pushed towards more useful emotions like rage and hatred. She called upon powers she hadn't touched in a long time. Growing to ten feet tall, the goddess was suddenly clad in black and silver armor, a double headed axe appearing in one hand while a half-moon shield covered her other arm. Eyes glowing, Hippolyta let the rage of battle take her as she flung herself at the tendrils, determined to keep them from the rest of her family.
Xan, meanwhile, was dumbfounded at what Nemesis had done. He could have moved out of the way. She didn't need to sacrifice herself to save him. "Stupid, stupid, stupid," he muttered, hurrying back over to her limp body. Grabbing hold of the spike, Xan used all of his strength to remove the foul thing. Of course, nature abhors a vacuum, and as soon as he removed it, blood began gushing everywhere. While he may not have been a fighter, years of running away had built up his defense magic rather well. A quick gesture on a muttered word was all it took to seal the wound with a barrier of magic. It was a temporary fix, but at least the bleeding was contained and stopped. The more difficult task of healing her was next. He could only hope that everyone else would keep the tendrils occupied as he worked, mending muscles, recreating organs, and stitching together skin. He was not going to let her die. He refused to.
Seeing Hippolyta grow in size gave Amora an idea, but she had never used Mjolnir as a Jotunn. She was afraid she'd be found unworthy. The thunder goddess mentally asked Mjolnir, thought working faster than words, sending along an image of what she was asking for as well as a soft 'please?', and after a brief pause of silence, Mjolnir's power surged. Amora let it pour inside of her, bolstering her strength and size, pushing her far past her halfbreed height. Incredibly, Mjolnir grew along with her. It seemed that, even as a Jotunn, Amora was still worthy of Thor's power. She strode forward, delivering blow after blow upon the creature and its tendrils, forcing it back towards the rip. "Drive it back and I can close the tear!" she yelled. Even as Amora said this, Mjolnir pulsed with a light, one that was a twin to the energy around the tear, which was slowly being forced closed.
