Xanthius just looked at his older sister, the expression on his face clear that he didn't believe her. "I don't have a problem, and you're one to talk! You don't have a type either." For as long as he had ever known Melina, she had never had a boyfriend or girlfriend that had lasted more than a few days, and those were the lucky rare ones. He swore that she preferred one night stands above everything else. "I'll have you know that women can be cute too. Cute and sexy. And I don't know what hair color I like, Mel. I mean, it's just hair, right? Why should it make a difference?" He just hoped that his sister wouldn't go back to proclaiming him hopeless or gay, because he was neither. He knew for a fact that boys didn't excite him on bit. The fairer sex was just... elusive and odd to him. "What are they goddesses of?" he asked. Maybe he could get a initial feel of them that way.
Circe rolled her eyes at Zarda's idea. Oh, she knew she was kidding, but the woman seemed to have no idea how to deal with children and teenagers sometimes. It made Circe wonder how well they would raise of family whenever they'd decide to have one. "Just... nevermind. I'm sure everything will be fine. These children are big enough that they can handle a questioning eighteen year old."
The goddess sat still, studying Kaileena. As far as she could tell, the spell was a success. There was nothing left of Ares' curse, and if there was, it was in such minute amounts that it would no longer affect the girl. "Strange good or strange bad?" Circe asked, feeling a bit wary. Had she accidentally severed something important? Was her magic gone? Was Kaileena now mortal? Hippolyta also watched the two from outside of the circle. Something seemed off with her sister, but she wasn't entirely sure what. "Kai? Stand up for a moment, if you can. I need to check something out with you."

Melina snorted “I have more of a type then you do. Besides you haven’t seen me in years you have no idea what I’ve been up to.” No one from her home time knew if she had found anyone or not. And right now she wasn’t going to tell. “Because that’s part of a type hair color, breasts, ass, legs. Everyone is different in what they like.” A lot of time had passed and she had gone through a lot she didn’t act like she had once did or the way Xan thought she would act. “Retribution and the Hunt.” Hopefully Xan wouldn’t judge them too harshly before actually meeting them.
“Good god Circe I know how to deal with Lyta I’m not a total dumbass. I don’t know why you seem to think I don’t know what I’m doing.” This was probably the real reason why they didn’t have children of their own not because of the timed tossed ones that suddenly appeared but because Circe seems to think Zarda hadn’t learned anything in the past seventeen years they’ve been married.
“I don’t know it’s just strange I can’t really say.” Kaileena told Circe it was just a weird feeling she had that something felt off but she couldn’t put her finger on it. “Um...okay.” Kaileena slowly got to her feet everything seemed so...wait “Hippolyta how many times do I have to tell you to stop changing your height to make me feel better it’s not funny.” She said annoyed with her older sister.

"What have you been up to? Probably sex, sex, sex, teasing Kai, and sex. How far off am I, huh?" It was just a guess, but Xan assumed that it wasn't too far from the truth. "Retribution and the hunt? You want to set me up with Nemesis and Artemis? Or whoever they are now?" He gave his sister a worried look, one that almost asked if she were crazy, but he did think it over. Finally, he answered, somewhat quietly. "What's the Artemis one like?" He figured he'd have an easier time with the virgin huntress instead of the goddess of divine retribution.
Circe ran her hands through her hair, frustrated just as much as Zarda was. "Because I don't know what I'm doing. I thought being queen would be easy, but I didn't expect to have, on the same day I gain Zeus' powers, two adult children who are insanely powerful, the world end, and have to hold the hands of how many mortals as they went about trying to rebuild on a brand new earth. Now there are three more. I worry. Ever since Ultron... if I have Lyta then, I would have found one of those damn robots and forced it to kill me. You're what keeps me strong and together. I'd... I'm sorry for what I've said. I know you know what you're doing. You're a better parent than I. I'm sorry if I gave the impression that I thought otherwise."
Hippolyta's jaw drop for two reasons. One, the change in her sister, and two, the fact that Kai thought that she would pull a prank on her right after she helped with a spell to make her better. "Really? You really think I'd do that now of all times?" she asked, moving over to the one person Kai knew Hippolyta would never fuck with: Perseis. "See? She's still the same height ratio to me as usual. You know I wouldn't make her shorter or pain of absolute revenge on her part." Perseis, meanwhile, looked a little confused but pleased at what Hippolyta said. To help further the point, Circe stood up as well and actually was mildly surprised at now having to look up at Kaileena. She wasn't Zarda's height, but she had definitely grown.

“Actually way off I haven’t seen Kai in a decade and I’m the goddess of the sun, light, music, art.” she only listed a few things off as that was a list “Kind of Artemis is dead and Nemesis isn’t the one you know. The old gods were killed and replaced with mortals expect Nemesis she wasn’t ever mortal. Dark and misunderstood and the other one she lives in a jungle and kills dinosaurs with her bare hands I don’t know much more then that I haven’t seen her in a decade that’s a long story. But she’s pretty nice mostly.”
Zarda pulled Circe into a hug “You aren’t failing at being queen of the gods it takes work if it was easy everyone would be doing it. And I’m not better parent than you you are so much better than I could ever be. You don’t need to worry so much those kids are adults they can handle most things on their own but could use a helping hand every now and then.” She kissed Circe.
“I don’t know! I haven’t seen you in...in...I don’t even know how long it’s been since I’ve seen you last!” She knew it had been at least ten years but knew it was more because she has a second brother who was fully grown she really had no idea when the last time it was when she had seen any of her siblings. “Yeeeah grandma get’s mad when you mess with her.” Kaileena had done something like that but it really wasn’t her fault she was a child at the time and she had a hard time with not setting things on fire or freezing everything.

Xan sort of looked sheepish and perplexed, but not as much as he had been earlier. "Oh, I see," he mumbled after realizing what had happened. But he seemed to have been wrong regarding which goddess to date as the idea of killing dinosaurs with your bare hands seemed a rather difficult job to do. "Um, who would you suggest I try to go after, date-wise? Even if you don't pal around with either of them, you seem to know them better than I do. Clearly." That wasn't a snark or anything on Xan's part. It was just the truth.
"You were the one who got Lyta to stop crying that one night, not me. And I had tried everything," Circe told Zarda, relaxing into her hug. "I know they're adults and I know Lyta is almost technically one too, but she's still my baby and I worry for her. As for those over there... I want to protect everyone under my domain. But, I'll let them do as they will. I'll help them go home if they want it, or I'll help them if they choose to stay here." She was not about to fight them and come off as the bad guy in this situation.
Hippolyta remembered the incident with a six year old Kai and Perseis. They were all visiting Helios' palace in the Caucasus Mountains when something happened that got.... well, one moment Perseis' gown was normal looking and then the next moment the goddess's clothes were encased in ice. Kai was a kid and no one could really blame for it, but apparently Perseis gave her a look that could have been interpreted in many ways, Kai started crying and the next thing you knew, the couch Perseis was frozen to had caught on fire. The goddess wasn't hurt, the property damage repaired, and Perseis even offered little Kai a golden toy to play with once she had calmed down, but Circe's kids quickly learned not to mess with the goddess of destructive magic.
Circe undid the protective circle around them, allowing Hippolyta to come in and properly compare their heights. "Shit, it looks like your my height. I guess we'll be getting you some new clothes then, huh?" she asked, smiling and hugging her sister. "Do you feel better now? Not so angry, emo, and wanting to be alone?"

Melina forgot her brother didn’t know anything about the Savage Land so he probably thought she was crazy “There’s a hidden place called the Savage Land where dinosaurs are alive and killing stuff. And she lived there for a long time until the world ended.” That was a good question she wasn’t really sure herself. “Oh I know how about this.” She took out a coin “Heads Nemesis and tails Shanna?” she flipped it into the air and let it drop to the floor landing on whatever side it chose.
“So I got lucky one night. That doesn’t mean I’m better then you.” Zarda thought outside the box when it came to doing most things which was how she got Lyta to stop crying. “She’ll always be your baby no matter how old she get’s. It probably wouldn’t be a good idea if you tried and forced them to stay if they didn’t want to.” Zarda didn’t want Circe to get herself in trouble with the others even though Kaileena wasn’t a little ball of rage she probably wasn’t someone you wanted to mess with anyways.
Everything was all fine and dandy until Hippolyta said the worse thing ever they had to go shopping. Kaileena let out the loudest groan ever. “I hate shopping!” Zarda laughed “Oh yeah she’s family.” like Kaileena Zarda hated shopping for the most part. “Yeeeeah that’s still sort of a thing. Did I forget to tell you I’m the ruler of the Underworld?” She had a feeling this wasn't going to go over very well.

A secret place where dinosaurs lived to this day? Yeah, Xan thought his sister was crazy. Never in his studies had he come across such a thing. But then again, hunting dinosaurs seemed a manly thing, so the fact that he lacked a dad growing up... maybe that explained why Mel knew about it and he didn't. Okay, that was an absurd idea and he would likely get his ass kicked by his sister for even thinking that. "Okay, deal." He watched the coin fly up into the air, not wanting to influence it in anyway, figuring Fate would give him the opposite of what he wanted if he tried. The coin landed, and bounced a few times before landed heads up. Xan immediately blanched in fear. "Nemesis?"
"You have the magic touch, my dear," Circe insisted. She still had no idea how Zarda did it, though she was fairly certain that she didn't want to know. It gave Zarda a hint of magic before she had any. "I'll introduce them soon enough. She gets along well with Kaileena and Melina, and I'm not worried about the boys with her as they seem to have a healthy respect for their older sister. It's the two Lyta's getting together that might be mischief." But then again, maybe not. Maybe they would behave.
"Hey, if I could lend you some of my clothes right now, I would. But since we are no where near my closet, I can't," Hippolyta offered her sister. "But don't worry, it won't be hard and painful. I promise. You, me and Mel. How does that sound? Or we can get the nymphs to do a fitting for certain things you can't find in stores anymore. I know how much you liked that one hooded, laced up gown of yours. Deal?"

Melina bent down and picked up her coin putting it away before looking at her brother “Relax if she was really that bad do you really think Circe would let Nemesis babysit Lyta? Let alone teach her anything?” If she was that bad Circe wouldn’t let her do anything with Lyta. Melina knew Nemesis did and has done some bad things but she also knew Nemesis loved children not in the creepy way. But she would do everything she in her power to help a child even if it meant dying to keep the child safe she would do that.
“Mmm...I suppose I do.” Zarda didn’t think she did anything special or magical to get Lyta to stop crying. And she wasn’t even sure it’d work but it did. Being pulled from her thoughts Zarda looked at others “I don’t think you have to worry about that happening Hippolyta doesn’t look like she’d play games let alone cause any trouble without reason.” The purple haired goddess didn’t look like she did any fun things in the same way Lyta would.
Kileena let out a huge sigh yes she was being over dramatic about the whole thing but that was just her “You say that now…just wait.” Melina over heard them. “I’ll have to pass on that Xan and I have plans. But why not invite Amora? I’m sure the warrior princess could use some down time.” Kaileena looked like a deer caught in the headlights “She’s....she’s probably busy. Aldrif probably has her running around throwing lightning bolts at people and stuff…” Melina rolled her eyes “Oh please. It wouldn’t hurt to ask.” With that she sent a message to Amora.

Xan was a little surprised by that news. "Mom... I mean, she let Nemesis babysit Lyta?" he asked as he glanced at Circe for a few moments. His mother had never steered him wrong and even though this woman was not her, they shared traits and Xan did seem to trust her. Mel trusted her, so that had to count for something. "Alright, I'll meet her and see if she'd like to try me out for a date."
No, Hippolyta did not look like the type to enjoy things and have the same kind of fun as Lyta, Circe could see that. But then again, this version was older and seemed to have a bit more responsibilities on her shoulders. "Perhaps you're right. But, she is reunited with her family. Kaileena and Melina do seem to be a bit happier now. Maybe the good mood will rub off onto their sister." Circe hoped that would be the case. She couldn't imagine her child being so serious. Not her little star.
Hippolyta started to complain that her sister just didn't want to hang out her with her, intending to give Mel a hard time, but that thought left her as soon as she heard a name she was expecting. "Amora?" She then noted the look on Kai's face. "Oh gods, don't tell me you're actually friends with her here. I thought impaling her once was enough. Please... just please tell me that you are either not fucking her in an attempt to not have things mess up, or that she is not even remotely like what she was back home." The lavender haired goddess had picked up on her being called a 'warrior woman' who was tossing lightning bolts around. Maybe she was married to Thor or not a magically inclined, vindictive little bitch and Hippollyta wouldn't have to repeat Amora's punishment on this world. Once was enough.
Whatever the reasoning behind it all, Amora responded to Melina's message, saying that she had no plans in the immediate future and the idea of watching Kaileena trying on clothing sounded wonderful, so she would arrive shortly. The enchantress needed some additions to her wardrobe anyway.

Nemesis had been doing a little training with Lyta on speed and climbing but it seemed she lost the girl at some point. Nemesis looked down at the throne room something weird was going on she couldn’t really tell what yet. So she decided to make her way down to find out what was going on. She jumped from one place to another until she could slide down a column until she was low enough to push herself off sending her airborn. She twisted in mid-air so she land on her feet. “Speak of the devil herself.” Melina said when she saw Nemesis land. Nemesis raised an eyebrow until she noticed the look on Melina’s face causing her to sigh “Whatever your plotting the answer is no.” this wasn’t the first time Melina dragged her into something and it usually ended in a headache. “I’m not plotting anything I just want you to meet my little brother. Nemesis this is Xanthius.”
“One can only hope. But it suddenly doesn’t look so good.” Zarda said noticing how the girls are acting towards one another especially after Melina brought up Amora. Hippolyta looked kind of pissed at Kaileena Zarda knew why because she could hear them. But she was going to stay out of it deciding it was for the best. Unless she actually needed to step in.
“Whoa sister!” Melina said putting her hands up to keep Hippolyta from going on a rant “This Amora is really different than the one back home. First of all she’s the right hand woman to the All-Mother and second she’s the goddess of thunder. Thor died about ten years ago and she was offered the hammer and she was able to lift it.” She explained hopefully this was working. “This world was destroyed and Helios’ great grandmother remade the world before taking Kai and a few others with her for the past decade. While they were gone Amora was left in charge of Asgard. We even fought side by side in defending this place.” just as she finished explaining she got a reply from Amora “And she’s going to be here soon so be have or I’ll kick your ass.” Melina said to Hippolyta giving her an I'm not joking smile.

Xan watched the woman as she climbed down, having caught the movement out of the corner of his eye. She was... the way she moved and leapt was something incredible; effortless and with and ease of someone who knew exactly where they would be landing next. Which was probably why he was surprised to find her to be Nemesis. For some reason he expected her to be Shanna. "Um, it's very nice to meet you. And you can call me Xan, if you like," he told her, extending out his hand in greeting.
Circ sighed and nodded, having noted the spat that had suddenly flared up between the girls. They truly were her children, even if from a different universe. Circe and her sister always seemed to have disagreements regarding who the other was dating. They wouldn't necessarily fight, but he mother would be exasperated by the end of the day having to listen to it all. Speaking of her mother, Perseis offered to intervene, but Circe stopped her, saying it was best the girls work things out themselves. Nodding, the nymph took her leave, saying she would be back if her daughter needed her.
Hippolyta glared at Melina. "You'll kick my ass? Excuse me? Okay, look, lizard queen," she said, using a nickname from when Mel had first gained her dragon magic. "I just want Kai to not be heartbroken again. You remember how she was, right? The crying, the locking herself in her room and not eating? I don't want her to go through that again. If Amora really has changed in this world, then so much the better. While I trust your judgement, I just want to confirm things with my own eyes, okay? And as for beating me in a fight? One, you're my sister and I want to go easy on you, and two, sitting on me while being the size and weight of a dragon does not count as winning, you little cheater."
Speaking of Amora, the goddess appeared shortly thereafter, decked out in a rather fashionable ensemble that showed her curves and assets off nicely. Shopping was one of the few times she could still be girly, so she enjoyed it often. However, the expression on her face upon seeing Kaileena was one of surprise not happiness. How her eyes ran up and down the girl's body showed that, yes, she had easily noticed the sudden difference in height. "Going through a late growth spurt? No wonder we're going to get you new clothes."

“It’s nice to meet you Xan.” Nemesis said shaking his hand still wondering what Melina was up to but she was too busy arguing with her sister for Nemesis to get an answer. “It’s times like this I’m happy I’m an only child.” she said watching the group of young women go at it. But that did bring up another thought one Xan could probably answer. “How did you guys end up here? You guys don’t look like you're coming to take Melina and Kaileena home.”
Zarda noted the girls starting up a catfight over Amora while Xan was off to the side chatting with Nemesis and Dante was in the lounger area munching while watching everything like a TV show. It seemed her boys knew when to stay out of things while the girls went at it like alley cats. “At least our boys are smart enough to stay out of things.” Zarda said looking back at Circe.
“Don’t call me that! Yo-” Melina was cut off from her rant when two massive skeletal hands grabbed her and Hippolyta one in each hand. The grip was tight enough that they couldn’t get free but wouldn’t be crushed. “Enough! You two are driving me insane!” Kaileena said she now stood in front of them as white as snow save for her blood red lips. Dressed in her black bikini thigh high boots and cape. “I’m fully aware of what happened to me when the Amora from our time had broken my heart. But you can’t judge this Amora for the actions of another when you haven’t even met her yet.”
Kaileena move to stand in between the two “You go back to doing whatever it is you were doing with Xan and you don’t be so quick to judge and behave because I have a Chibi and I’m not afraid to use him on you.” with that the hand holding Melina moved over to where Xan was and dropped her in front of him before disappearing while the other one disappeared releasing Hippolyta as Kaileena changed back just before Amora showed up. "Among other things." Kaileena said to the blonde "Amora I like you to meet my older sister Hippolyta she's going to torment me with shopping that you seem to be helping with it."

"It's been a while since my sisters have seen each other," Xanthius sighed. "So naturally, what do they do within five minutes of seeing each other? They fight. But I swear that they do love each other," he tried to explain, shaking his head at his family. He looked up at Nemesis' question. Smart and level-headed, plus she knows how to handle his sisters. That was always good. "This was all an accident. We had been looking for Kai and Mel, but something or someone kicked us through a portal to here. Hippolyta was unconscious and chained," he mentioned, pointing to his oldest sister. "And now we can't get back, or at least we don't know how yet."
Circe agreed with Zarda's observation about the boys. It seemed that they were used to such activities. The goddess just hoped the girls' behavior wasn't a daily occurrence. In fact, she was about to step in and put an end to the fighting when the skeletal hands appeared and end the situation for her.
Hippolyta was more than a bit surprised by this outcome and ceased struggling almost immediately, not wanting to piss her sister off any further. She recognized the power almost immediately, her biological father, Ares, having brief been the lord of the dead. The fact that Kai now had this power scared the older goddess. "I'm sorry, Kai, I didn't mean to upset you over this. And you're right, I shouldn't base her merits on the actions of another." However, there was something that perplexed Hippolyta. "What the hell's a Chibi?"
When Amora and Hippolyta saw each other, the goddesses acted in a similar fashion; both with surprise at the appearance of the other. "Older sister? Kai..leena," Amora asked, quickly covering up using the girl's nickname, as they weren't ready to announce anything about their relationship, if they ever were. "I know what Lyta looks like and unless the entirety of your family is prone to sudden height and body shape changes, this woman is not Lyta. If this were a magic related accident, I doubt Circe would be this calm," the enchantress reasoned, noting how the Sky Mother was nearby talking with her wife. Amora then took notice of the two young men in the room, smiling politely with the blonde one since the dark haired boy was busy having a conversation with Nemesis.
Amora had muscles? That was the first thought that hit Hippolyta upon seeing her. Amora never had muscles, and yet, there she was with a body built like Diana. She carried herself in a similar manner too, so this was likely not an illusion. Her sense of style was still the same, showing her figure off, but Hippolyta couldn't help but notice the few scars on her usually flawless skin. This Amora was not the one she was used to. "Wow, I was not expecting this big of a difference. It's, um, impressive?" Truthfully, Hippolyta was at a loss for words, not even having the ability to give a snarky comment regarding Amora's appearance. "You look nice."

“Siblings have to fight over something all the time it seems or it runs in the family. If they didn’t love each other this place would probably look like a war zone.” Nemesis thought about what Xan told her how they had ended up here “I hate ruin the moment but if whatever sent you here is powerful enough to overpower all of you. Aside from getting back, how do you plan on beating it? if it’s more powerful than you guys?” it did make her wonder about somethings. “If that thing can toss you guys through time like it was nothing it probably wouldn’t be hard to kill all of you.” The thing about Nemesis she didn’t sugarcoat anything which probably made her sound mean.
“I knew you were the smart one.” Kai said watching her sister she could see the fear in her eyes when she realized Kai’s powers. “Who better to keep the underworld in check then the grumpiest one in the family? Besides I get my own castle and get away from you crazy people.” But really it was just to hide from the children and get out of babysitting. Plus Amora could drop by any time she wanted and not have to sneak around or anything. “Chibi is a wolf pup given to me by Helios. He’ll lure you in with his cuteness then hit you in the face with a lightning bolt or whatever other magic he has.”
“You can call me Kai everyone else does not a big deal.” She told Amora when she noticed she tried using her nickname then made it her full name. “She is and she isn’t this is Lyta just not of this universe and she goes by Hippolyta instead of Lyta cause she’s a boring adult. And everyone but Nemesis is a sibling to me from my time.” yes she was picking on her sister but she’ll get her back when they started shopping.
“Told ya. She is the lady of lightning after all.” Kai said standing next to Hippolyta looking Amora over unlike her sister it was for a totally different reason. “So are you guys ready to go or am I going to steal your clothes?” she said looking at her older sister.

At Nemesis' words, Xanthius actually smirked. "Yeah, I know they love each other, and no, it wouldn't be a war zone. Mel might be a dragon and Hippolyta would... she'd be her father's daughter. But it wouldn't matter because Kai would have us all mind slaves, I think. But I doubt they'd ever do it because for a long time they only had themselves and mom. They'd kill others before going after one another." His smile dropped as Nemesis kept talking and he actually nodded, agreeing with her. "Yeah, I know. I've got no clue who or what would do all this. As for fighting, I'm the weakest in my family, Nemesis. Unlike my siblings, I don't have anything special in my repertoire. My magic is okay but nothing spectacular and I don't have any other special talents. Not really. Now that you mention it, I don't know why they didn't just kill me." That was the truth. It probably would have been easier and use less magic and energy to just kill him, so Xan had no idea why he was alive and here.
"It also means that you get to act out as many zombie apocalypse scenarios or thriller dances as you want." Once free of the skeletal hands, Hippolyta gently made her way over to Kai and held her close for a few moments. "Just don't let this take over your life, all right? You may be grumpy and different in our family, but you are my sister, I love you, I wouldn't have you any other way, and I won't let you forget that. Your big sister Hippo loves you," she told her softly, using the name Kai could pronounce when she was just learning to talk. it had inadvertently become an annoying running gag in their family. If you need us, please send word," she stated with a bow. Circe nodded, giving them leave to go.
