She had given Kaileena time to adjust back to life on Olympus and Earth. Plenty of time. To tell the truth, Circe had expected her would be daughter to come talk to her within a few days of her return. That was not the case. Circe had even tried to clear her schedule just so Kaileena and her could talk, but it seemed that the girl was reluctant to talk to her, or at least that was what the goddess assumed. Circe hated having to play her hand as Queen of Olympus, but if it got them to talk one on one, she would do it. So the Sky Mother requested Kaileena to have an audience with her. She didn't want to make it an order, but if things came to that, she would.
Circe sat on her throne before considering to move to some place more comfortable. She was her daughter after all, right? Things like this were suppose to be easy, weren't they? Melina had her own habits, but that girl and Circe got along well enough, so why was she worried about Kaileena's approval so much? Nerves? While waiting for the young woman to arrive, Circe used magic to rearrange the room just a bit; setting up a lounger area for the two of them, along with a table of food and drink. She didn't want to assume too much about her, so everything, though rich and elaborate looking, was actually rather simple if you paid close enough attention.
The Sky Mother that was Circe, Queen of all Olympus, sat and waited for her long absent daughter from the future to arrive.

Ever since Kaileena got back she’s had her hands full with so much stuff. She had to get the Underworld reorganized to the way she wanted it as well as getting her home down there redecorated to the way she wanted it to look. Besides that she had to deal with a wolfgod pup to deal with and she found out the hard way he had magic and he was able to use it very well on her mostly. That was a day she’d never forget for a lot of reasons.
Kaileena groaned when Circe decided to send a request to see her. Why couldn’t she just leave Kaileena alone? Circe had her own family to deal with she didn’t need to bother with her. Yes she most likely knew what Circe had in mind Melina told her about what happened between them. Sighing she got up and took off for the throne room of Olympus to get this getting to know each other or whatever you want to call it done and over with. Walking inside she saw that Circe had changed the whole area to look different than it had looked. “Is there something you need Sky-Mother?” she asked keeping her annoyance out of her voice.

The annoyance was absent from Kaileena's voice, but not from her face and body language. Circe sighed, knowing that this entire meeting could go to hell in a hand basket rather quickly if she wasn't careful. "I was hoping to be able to talk to you, Kaileena. Discuss things? You've had quite the experience and I want to make sure that you're all right. Being gone for ten years, being an avatar for Death, getting time-tossed... it's a difficult thing for a lot of people to cope with." Circe intended to take this slowly and carefully, wanting to seem neither too smothering nor too distant.
"When you and Melina first appeared, I was naturally suspicious, not believing that you were who you said you were. Paranoia, trickery, deceit, call it what you will, but I've had a past full of it. Yet, there you two were, talking and acting like this was nothing wrong or different. You took to Lyta like sisters should, and Melina protected us when she had no reason to." The goddess knew things were coming fast as explanations, and she tried to put it all into smooth and orderly fashion. "When the Angelus and Death chose you as a Horseman... something inside of me broke. I hadn't known you at all, but I didn't want to see you taken. They should have picked someone else. You had been through enough already."
Getting up from her throne and expecting an eye-roll to come at any moment, Circe walked over to her. "I know that I am not your mother, but I want you to be a part of my family. Both you and Melina. I don't want you to think that you have to stay in the Underworld. You are welcome here, Kaileena. I would love for you to be my daughter and Lyta would love to have you for an older sister. Please don't shut yourself away."

“Am I alright? I’m alive that’s as close to being alright as I can ever be.” Kaileena was never alright that wasn’t counting the horsemen and time tossing events that just added on to list of shit she had to live through. If you looked fucked up in the dictionary her picture would be there.
“If some life ruining event is going to happen it’s going to happen to me. When I’m not being angry at everything.” Kaileena didn’t explain anything more knowing Melina and her big mouth Circe probably knew all about it already. She waste her time explaining something that was probably already known by everyone that lived there.
Circe was way too late with that Kaileena was already keeping herself away from everyone else. Only part of it had to do with her being an outsider but mostly for everyone else's safety. “I can’t do that Circe I’m too dangerous to be around. Why do you think I took Hades powers? So I can do something without being around people that can be hurt by me.” Why did everyone think it wasn’t that huge of a deal? It was always we care about you we can help you no you can’t help at all or I can handle you you aren’t that dangerous but she was and once things started rolling trying to stop any of it was impossible for her to do.

"Don't be like this, Kaileena," Circe warned. She knew this would be difficult, but the goddess had never expected such open hostility. "I can help you be more than just alive, Kaileena. You don't have to be some pariah that lives on the outskirts." That was the truth. Circe was powerful before, but now with Zeus abilities mingling with her own magic, there was little she couldn't do.
The purple haired goddess rolled her eyes. Kaileena truly was her daughter. How else could someone produce so much drama in such little time? "Life ruining event, hmm? So it was you who decided to become mortal in order to learn all you could about your greatest enemy, but in doing so, became her friend, got pregnant, was shot, and nearly died from shock and blood loss in freezing water? Because I would have sworn that was me and not you. What about having the goddess witchcraft cause your body to crumble into dust? No? Not you? Well then my dear, I must say, you've done a bit of false advertising." Melina did not have a big a mouth as Kaileena thought. Yes, Circe knew about everything regarding Ares, Zarda's temporary death, and the resulting wedding, but Circe did not pry very far. She only knew the basics of what Melina knew. If she wanted more details, she would have to ask Kaileena. "And what is here that you have to be angry at? Ares is dead and gone. You killed him yourself. I'm sure you can go home whenever you like. If Melina could find you here, she can take you home. Or you can stay here, start a new life. I don't understand what there would be for you to get mad over."
Circe had finally had enough. She couldn't for an instant believe that a daughter of hers would be so pessimistic about her reason for existing. "You are not dangerous," she said, taking the girl's hands. "Whatever was done to you, whatever curse or ability or power or anything that has been twisted inside your body can be undone. I will not accept that that spear-throwing bastard has more powerful magic than me. I would not invite you to live on Olympus if I thought you were a danger, Kaileena. Your mother wouldn't have taken you and run if she thought that you were trouble. You won't hurt me. You won't hurt anyone here. Just let me help you. I want you happy."

The plan was simple the portal would open and Dante would go through to the past to retrieve his sisters and bring them back home. Wasn’t hard to do and hey he’d get to see the past and see how things were. That could be fun right? At least he thought it would be until something happened. Dante had been standing in front of the portal watching Kaileena talking with their younger mother Kai didn’t look very happy with her. Sensing someone behind him and figuring it was Hippolyta he didn’t bothered to turn around “Hey Hipp-” He was cut off as he was kicked through the portal and into the past.
Kaileena wasn’t at all happy with what Circe had said trying to compare Hippolyta’s birth with all the bad things she had gone through. She opened her mouth to say something but something big and heavy landed on top of her knocking her to the ground. Whatever had happened at least he had a soft landing. He probably wouldn’t be thinking that if he had known what he had landed on. Kaileena groaned and opened her eyes to see some guy laying on top of her and pushed him off. “Your throwing men at me now?” she asked Circe wondering why on earth she would do something like that.

All right, yes, Circe was well aware that the troubles in her own life were nothing compared to what Kaileena had faced, and she was fully prepared to receive the onslaught of verbal abuse and 'you're such a stuck up, self-centered bitch' retort Kaileena looked like she was preparing. The reason for her comparison was simple; to show the girl that she was not the only one with a messed up life. To show that she wasn't alone. But that all went out the window when a strange man drop on top of Kaileena from out of nowhere.
The moment of shock and confusion was short lived, as she had to explain that, no, she wasn't the type to throw men at a problem. "Do you honestly think I would do such a thing? Firstly, from what I know about you, men should not be the first thing I throw your way. Secondly, I'm as much confused as you are. I have no idea who he is." She didn't recognize the man, though he was dressed in Asgardian clothes. Grabbing him by the arm, the goddess not so gently brought him to his feet.
"You do know that it's rude to eavesdrop on a private conversation, and even more rude to land on someone during said conversation. My suggestion? Apologize to my guest and then explain yourself and why you're here. I don't think Aldrif would send a messanger this way." The odd thing was that, though she didn't know him, the blonde man looked familiar to Circe. She waited patiently for his answer, prepared to stop any conflict between him and Kaileena. For now, at least.

“Seeing as we’re not from the same universe I have no idea what you would and wouldn’t do.” Kaileena said as she got to her feet then dusted herself off. Instead of dealing with Circe she now had to deal with an idiot spy who was eavesdropping on them for some strange reason. As if her day wasn’t becoming more and more of a headache with Circe it now just got worse.
“I wasn’t eavesdropping on you two I was more watching...that doesn’t help me does it?” he looked over at Kaileena “I’m here for her actually and Melina wherever she happens to be. And I have no idea who Aldrif is.” Kaileena looked at him she had no idea who the man was. “Why are you after us?” neither of them were going anywhere with some stranger “I’m here to bring you two home our mother wants us all toget-” he was cut off by Kaileena’s hand being wrapped around his neck. “I only have one brother who has dark hair which you lack.”
Dante grabbed at her hand trying to free himself from her death grip “Xanthius isn’t your only brother now…” He pulled himself free “Then who’s your father?” Kaileena didn’t believe him “Zarda. Mom finally found her and brought her home. And one thing lead to another surprise you have another brother.” he explained hoping he didn’t have to go into detail. “I thought mom didn’t want anymore children?” Dante shrugged he didn’t really have an answer for that.

"Perhaps if you decided to be a part of the family, you would know me better," Circe fired back. She was not about to be insulted, not in front of a stranger. Of course this man wasn't exactly helping his situation. If anything, he wasn't the best at words or making sure he stayed alive to speak such poorly used words. Before she knew it, Kaileena's hand were at the man's throat.
Circe stood there, at a loss for words, as the two spoke. It wasn't so much the fact that she, or at least a future version of her had four children. No, that part didn't phase her. Zarda and her had discussed having children together, so a future where they had four children together was not unheard of. It was the fact that the two of them were speaking as if Circe wasn't in the room. She had never been a fan of being ignored.
"So, you decide that the best way to do this is to drop out of nowhere and land on your older sister? So courtesy and manners. If your mother wanted you back, why didn't she retrieve you herself or do it sooner?" Something about this entire scenario didn't feel right to the goddess. "She's the sky-mother. Isn't she all powerful and able to do many things?" Circe knew her own limit, and though she had yet to open portals through time, if her children could do it, so could she. "What is wrong?"

“Maybe I don’t want to be apart of your family. You ever thought of that?” Kaileena shot back with a glare. She should have ignored Circe’s request to come here and talk it would have saved them a lot of time and energy if she was just left alone. She couldn’t believe her mother was ever this irritating but she suppose five thousand years really changed someone. Or something she didn’t know but she knew she was done with this Circe.
Dante stared at Circe for a long time trying to figure out if she was joking or actually serious. “Do you think anyone who actually knew Kaileena would do that willingly?” He asked her finally making up his mind. “Is...is...she joking?” Dante looked to Kaileena “No. She apparently doesn’t have a clue about multi-universes. Which is why it took so long for her to find us. Also she’s a ruler of people she can’t just up and leave to come and find us.” Kaileena really wondered about this Circe sometimes. It’s like she knows a lot of things but then suddenly it was like she didn’t know anything at all.
“The portal closed and we can’t get home now. And I have no idea who or what sent me through the portal so I don’t know what happened to our family if there is one left to go back to.” Dante said not at all happy about how things turned out. Kaileena stood there in shock she was never going home again? She'd never see her parents or her brother ever?

"Then why stay here, Kaileena? Why maintain the powers of Hades when you gave up Hephaestus' upon returning?" Circe asked. "Did you even hear what I offered before we were interrupted? I can attempt to break whatever hold Ares has on you. I have beaten his magic before. Do you understand that? I want to help you, Kaileena. I don't want us to be enemies. I want you to not feel like the exiled outsider, because I know what it's like to be hated and shunned," she explained, trying to break through that stubborn facade that Kaileena had. Circe did love her and she did want to help, but she could do nothing so long as she wasn't allowed to.
"It depends on the gender of the person falling on her and how well they knew each other," Circe reasoned, which was true in its own way. As for Kaileena's assumption, the purple haired goddess gave her a look. "I know about the multiverses. I also know about tracking people. Everyone I care about has an item I gave them which resonates with both my magic and their own, whether it's simply their own life force or something more powerful. I concentrate and I can find them. My island has a similar principle for when someone sets foot on it. It creates a discordance that I feel rather easily, like a sour note." It was also how she felt Zarda die all those years ago, that magic had a deeper connection between the two of them, a bond of love and marriage. Circe likewise had a blood bond with Lyta. "Your mother could have also search via blood ties. It's a complex magic, and sometimes a bit tiring, but nothing too complex that she shouldn't be able to handle." But then again, perhaps their Circe had lapsed in her studies. Neither Kaileena nor the man were keen on sharing information about their mother. "A ruler of people who is distracted and preoccupied so long by family matters is not a strong ruler. Small but important things could slip by her without her notice. Hence why I asked if something was wrong."
Circe thought over what the man said for a few quiet moments. "First Kaileena is transported here, then Melina follows, hoping to find her and bring her back. Now you.... whose name we still don't know, is kicked into this time." From what Melina told her, Xanthius wasn't much of a fighter and Hippolyta was often troublesome. "How was your father when she was found?" If it was a coup of some sort, it would be wise to keep the same from happening here. Circe then noticed the look on Kaileena's face. She gently took the girl's hand in her own. "Listen to me, Kaileena. We have three people from your world here. I swear that I will use everything in my power and in the universe to get you and your siblings home. I know what it's like to be separated from your family. Please believe me."

“To keep another Ares from happening?” Steve did a good job but it was still a mess and he turned into a brooding emo god it was kind of weird. “And what if you make it worse?” she wasn’t so sure about it if her own mother couldn’t ever do it what makes this Circe different?
Dante thought about that one for awhile “Maybe it’d work out better.” then again just because it was a female landing on her doesn’t mean Kaileena would be in a better mood about it. “Until you remember that multiverses also means multiple of us which would mean that would be a pointless thing to try.” Didn’t matter if was by blood or just magic objects it’d all end in the same way. Many many years going from earth to earth looking for them. “Don’t stand there and tell me you wouldn’t be in the same spot if Lyta was pulled into another universe. Because then I knew you were lying.”
“It’s Dante.” He then shrugged “I don’t know it was before I was born so I would assume fine. They didn’t seem to have any major problems at least Xanthius and Hippolyta never told me otherwise so I really have no idea.” Kaileena couldn’t say anything on it Zarda was still missing by the time she ended up here. Kaileena nodded although she agreed with Circe part of her said it’d never happen and they were going to be stuck here forever.

"Kaileena, I swear that another Ares incident will not happen. And I also Circe then gently cupped the girl's face in her hands, looking her straight in the eye. "I won't make things worse, but if I do, then... I'm yours to do with as you please." She just hoped it never would come to that.
True, even if it was a female landing on Kaileena, things might not be better, but then again Lyta had gone through a period of 'ninja attacking' people which basically was her dropping on top of people. Thankfully, it was a rather short-lived period. "Multiverses mean multiple versions of you. Some similar some drastically different. Every version sounds and feels slightly different." At the mention of her child being lost to her, Circe's eyes flashed in anger. "No, I wouldn't be like her. I would drop everything to find my daughter if she were lost in the mulitverse. I would not rest or stop until I succeeded, kingdom or monarchy be damned."
Circe smiled a little at his name. "Dante.... did your father pick that out for you?" It seemed like something Zarda would like. Still, she nodded at his words. It was unlikely that anything was wrong in their timeline, but you never truly knew. However, she did notice the very brief and slight look of something in Kaileena's eyes. Circe took it to be worry. She held her hand tight. "You may not be mine technically, but you are of my blood and I won't let anything bad happen to you. I promise."

“I don’t think anyone would have much choice in what I did to them. If you made it worse I doubt anyone could stop me.” She had no idea what all Ares had done to her nor did she know if she’d become an unstoppable monster that destroyed everything in her path before someone figured out how to kill her in order to stop her. “Unless they killed me if they could even do that.”
“But that’s still an ocean to wade through just to find the right place when you don’t even have a map to show you the way.” To many timelines and to much that could happened in between wouldn’t make finding their home easy if it was still there that is. She had no idea what sent her baby brother here or had the power needed to get past their parents in order to do such a thing.
“It was actually Hippolyta who named me.” he said from what he had been told Zarda couldn’t decide on a name so Hippolyta came up with one and everyone liked it so it stuck. “I know but I can’t help feeling someone or something is sending us here to get us out of the way for some reason.” she couldn’t think of anyone or why they would do it instead of just killing them all. “If that was the case wouldn’t Hippolyta and Xanthius be here?” She shook her head “Not unless they were killed.”

"I've killed gods before, Kaileena," Circe told her softly, her voice having an air of truth she didn't want to face if the inevitable were to happen. Killing a child was less of a sin than that of a child killing a parent, but still the Furies would haunt the goddess. And if they didn't, her own guilt would surely gnaw away at Circe's insides. She hoped that it would never come down to killing Kaileena. "I still offer my help to try and make things right."
"A sea of worlds and false leads. It's a good thing I'm part water nymph, otherwise I might drown." The joke fell flat as soon as it left Circe's lips. She wasn't the best at cheering people up sometimes. "But even in a sea sometimes two separate ripples manage to find each other. Perhaps instead of your home, we would stumble upon your mother." It was a distant chance, but still always a possibility.
As if a cue were waiting for Dante to speak, a portal opened up above them and two more people fell into the throne room; a man and a bound woman. Circe tried to hold the portal open, but to no avail. Whatever magics conjured it, slipped and twisted around Circe's own, making the goddess fearful for once. The portal now closed, the goddess turned to the new guests. The man had landed unceremoniously on top of Kaileena. He was taller than her, though his hair was a similar dark hue, and was looking rather disheveled as he realised why his landing was so soft. "Oh shit! Sorry, Kai!" he said before scrambling off his sister.
The woman, however, was wrapped in chains and unconscious, though it was hard to say if the latter happened before or after her head hit the marble floor, cracking the tile. The lingering fear Circe felt blossomed as she saw the familiar lavender hair the woman had. "Lyta?!" She yelled, running over to the woman and rolling her over. The face was older than her daughter, her body more developed and muscled, indicating that this was not her child, at least not from Circe's time. But still, she held the older girl tight, sending gently magic through to her, trying to get her to wake up.
