"Gods, I swear you can read my mind sometimes. Are you sure you being goddess of the oceans and me being part water nymph hasn't given you the ability to read my mind?" Circe asked as the group from Central Park appeared on the grassy plains of her island in the sky. She figured that was the easiest and most convenient place for them all. Plus, it'd allow a giant wolf plenty of room to stretch out for its post meal sleep. "And whether or not my parents are mad about them losing their palace in the Caucasus mountains, I wouldn't know. I had the best crafters of Olympus and Asgard work to build them a better home. Besides, you know it's not like my mother to approach things right up front when she can appear when anyone least expects it," she explained, lounging upon a pile of pillows. A small group of nymphs and attendants appeared, ready to wait on everyone hand and foot. Circe directed them to disperse amongst the women and provide for them as needed or to otherwise leave them all alone.
"Relax, Dani. You know how some women are, particularly immortals. We often need to know the most gossipy things, little good it would do us though, but everyone seeks entertainment. And the five of you left so quickly all those years ago. Questions get brought up which, naturally, we couldn't answer on our own. For example lineages and various names one goes by. I'm sure you have questions too. But honestly, feel no pressure to answer everything. After all, you saved the world and the universe ten years ago. We should be holding feasts in your honor." Circe explained as she made herself comfortable, her regal demeanor practically vanishing as she talked.
Lyta, meanwhile, sat near Kaileena. Even though Melina had filled her in over the years about her older sister, the little goddess felt that she knew next to nothing about her, having only seen her for about an hour. She was wary of her then and she was wary of her now.

Zarda snorted “I was able to do that long before I became the goddess of the oceans besides if I could do that I’d ask your mother what she thought of all of this. Or trick her into bringing your father here just to see the look on his face.” she said as she flopped on the pile of pillows stretching out and making herself comfortable while Circe talked to the others. “Sure your mother would do that but what about that hotheaded father of yours? Would he do the same thing?” she asked looking over at Circe who was next to her.
Dani listened to what Circe had said “Like if I’m related to you and your family or not?” Yeah she had seen the way Circe had looked at her all those years ago and how she’s looking at her now. “Probably the Angelus goes by about nine billion names.” Could be more but that’s just a guess. Cause really who would actually want to count to make sure? Not her. The Angelus was just the name she was going by at this point in time some point down the line it’ll change again. Could be because it wasn’t easy killing the host from what she can remember only the Darkness host was able to kill the Angelus host.
Kaileena looked at Lyta out of the corner of her eye while she ate. She didn’t look very sure of herself “I’m not going to bite you.” she said in between bites. Sif had finished eating and laid down behind Kaileena and Lyta to snooze in the sun.

"If you keep talking about them, they're liable to show up either way and then you get to explain why you called them here, not me. And do you really want to be tricking my mother? Of all people?" she asked, giving Zarda honest and sincere 'Are you crazy?' look? "As for what my father would do... as soon as you are out of my sight, he would likely torch you or the ocean, depending on his mood. Or he'd have the sun beat down on you until you die of heat stroke or thirst." Not that that was something likely to happen to Zarda, but Circe didn't want to risk it. "You are just a glutton for punishment," she sighed.
"Can you talk to the Angelus? Ask it if the names Theia, Aither, Aethra, or even Euryphaessa sound familiar to it?" It was a long shot but one never knew if it was true or not. Circe didn't even know why she was wanting to know any of this anyway. Just for curiosity's sake, she supposed.
Lyta scooted closer to Kaileena. "The last time I saw you, you killed the Olympians and then disappeared into a hole only to become Death. You biting people is still questionable. But... Melina put in a good word about you. Said you were a good older sister. So I guess you're okay," she reasoned.

Zarda stared at Circe for a long moment for speaking “Are you scared of your parent’s?” it really sounded like she was. “Two things. One when you put it like that you make your father sound like asshole like on Odin level of assholeishness. And two I doubt the Angelus would let him destroy the oceans. After all the work she did she’d be more pissed than him and I’m putting my money on her to win that battle.” She half laughed “I’m not worried about what your old man might try and do to me. I’ve taken on the Hulk alone and lived I think I can handle Helios.” Mainly because she fought dirty and if the Angelus happened to be his great grandmother she had a feeling that she wasn’t going to let him get away with that.
“Some of them were once the name of the Angelus and she’s a she even though she doesn’t have her own physical body.” Thinking about it now the Angelus had changed a great deal since the early days. “The Darkness is chaos and all things evil born from that was the light with her came life in the universe. The Darkness didn’t like it and waged war with the light and the two battled one another until they brought their war to earth were they claimed physical bodies the Darkness to a single bloodline and the light chose worthy women to use and their war continued on earth to this day.”
Kaileena stopped eating to look at her younger older sister “Biting? What’s that suppose to mean?” She didn’t really understand what she was talking about. She never bit anyone unless she was talking about when Kaileena was a baby. The only other thing she could think of was the few times she bit Amora when they were together. That was something Melina wouldn’t know for one thing Amora and her got along they didn’t really talk a whole lot and two Amora would have covered up any bite marks or healed them so no one could see them.

"I am not afraid of my parents, Zarda. They just have better things to do than to play your games." Upon hearing her father being called an asshole, Circe's jaw dropped. She started to say something, but saw a masculine and tanned arm poke through the pillow pile and wrap around Zarda's waist. "Manners, Zarda. No name calling allowed. Particularly when my little princess exaggerates," Helios said, sitting up from underneath the pillows and giving Zarda a kiss on the cheek. "I don't fry people. I just send zombie cows and other things after them," he smirked. Circe looked to be either in shock or that she would die from embarrassment upon seeing her father; a tall man, clad in a shining, purple skirt and sandals that left his muscled chest and arms bare. His hair was a tousled mop of golden curls, giving him a laid-back look.
The sun god listened to what Dani said and actually answered for his daughter. "That sounds like our family tree. Darkness and night begetting everything evil, while the light makes the good things in life." He extended a hand towards Dani. "I'm sure you already know who I am, but introductions are proper. Helios, the light-bringer. And.... were you not the host of one of my grandmothers, I would ask you most kindly for a cup of coffee or perhaps lunch." He then looked at Zarda with an all-knowing smirk.
"I... I was trying to make a joke. I guess I failed. I see you for an hour, you disappear, and I get stuck with Melina who seems to know me better than I do her. I don't know how to react to it all. I don't like being the oldest sister. That's what she called me and I don't like it. So, I'd rather be the youngest instead. Because I am," Lyta rambled, sounding younger than an eighteen year old should, but then again, she dealt with a lot of things most eighteen year olds didn't, like her mom suddenly being queen of Olympus and having to help mortals do everything it seemed. "Sorry, I shouldn't get grumpy, I know. That whole time period was weird for me." Just then, Dillios the tiger, her first pet, appeared and nuzzled Lyta lovingly. She smiled and hugged him back. "Hey, big guy."

“Better things to do? Like what? watch people sunbathe and judge people?” That was probably way off the mark because she really didn’t know what Perseis actually did on a day to day thing. Zarda stiffened just for a second until she realized whose arm was around her when it wasn’t Circe’s. She had to give the guy credit the guy knew how to make an entrance. “Wasn’t really calling you one just stating she made you sound like one. When she said all of that.” she corrected she hadn’t actually called him anything. “Zombie cows? Night of the living Moo? Sounds like something Hollywood would have made up.” that’s when she looked over at Circe who looked like she was in shock “Olympus to Circe. Anyone home?” She asked waving her hand in front of her wife’s face.
Dani looked up at the man with a raised eyebrow she shook his hand “Dani. The primal force of light.” What else was she going to say? I’m your great grandmother sort of. Yeah that probably would have sounded stupid. “It’s a good thing you didn’t I don’t think my girlfriend would have liked it. She doesn’t have a problem punching gods either.” She could still remember how Finch punched Jackie knocking off his feet while his darklings made fun of it.
“I’m so sorry you got stuck with Melina.” Kaileena said only to hear a “Hey!” somewhere near by coming from her little sister. “It’d kind of be weird if we didn’t know anything about our sister. Well you are you're the first born you can’t be the first and youngest when you have younger siblings. Well I mean not now you don’t have any siblings from this time at this point.” Hopefully that didn’t sound too confusing. “Don’t worry about being grumpy it runs in the family.” Kaileena reached out and petted Dillios.

"Mother has her own priorities and duties," Circe said, trying to defend her family even though she had no idea what her mother did nowadays. At least when she was a child, Circe knew that her mother managed their estate and kept it clean.
"Circe always has liked making her parents seem more horrible and terrible than we actually are. Well, me at least. With my wife, you really don't need to exaggerate," Helios smirked. "And yes, zombie cows. Odysseus and his men killed and ate my cows, so I brought the remains to life as a distraction before Zeus threw a couple thunderbolts at them all."
Circe blinked and looked over at her wife. "I'm all right. I just honestly didn't expect him to be under you. I worry that mother will appear next or any of my other family members. Not my idea of a great time, darling."
Helios smiled at how Dani described herself. "Oh, you are indeed a primal force," he purred. "Your girlfriend wouldn't need to be so jealous over you loving a god. I am quite capable of counting above the number two and am rather fond of sandwiches, my dear Dani," he said, kissing the back of her hand before letting it go. "Perhaps... if you ever give up your duties with the Angelus, feel free to summon me."
Viper rolled her eyes at this disgusting spectacle. Here she thought that they would actually gain some useful information out of the missing women, but instead this seemed to have turned into the prologue of a crappy porn movie. Having had her fill of this, she turned to leave. She'd had Dani answer her questions later.
"Mel's nice. As long as you don't go snoopy in her room or closet. She kept sticking me up in trees for doing that. No idea why." Lyta had an idea that it might have something to do with the other version that Mel and Kaileena knew, but she couldn't be sure. "Please don't make my head hurt more than it already does," she answered, making a face. "But.... if I'm the oldest, I should know more magic than the two of you. If you teach me stuff, I'll gladly call myself the oldest sister." As for the grumpy comment, Lyta didn't seem to like that. "Yeah, unfortunately."

“When I first met your wife she did make me feel like she was going to drown me if I sneezed in front of her.” Even though Circe told her more then once she wouldn’t let her mother do anything to her. But those looks she gave Zarda said otherwise. Things did change over time but still… “Zeus did something nice for someone else? No wait you had to threaten him right? That guy doesn’t know how to be nice.” She didn’t believe Zeus would do anything nice for anyone.
“If she does decide to show up I hope she doesn’t appear under me instead appears like a normal god.” She probably didn’t have to worry about that happening again.
Dani just stared at Helios not believing he just said all of that to her. “It’s not my girlfriend you have to worry about but your great grandmother. One doesn’t give up the Angelus until their dead.” She told him so it wouldn’t ever happen besides she loves Finch. Nemesis was walking and reading a scroll heading for Circe to talk to about something until she stopped “Why do I feel like I just walked into a prono?” she asked when she heard the talking then looked up and saw Helios “Keep it in your pants Helios. There are children about.” she wasn’t just talking about his grandchildren either almost all the gods had a lot of children over the last ten years and they liked to run about the place.
“Yeahhhh, about that I have no idea why she doesn’t let anyone in her room. Just some weird thing she does.” Kaileena shrugged. “Sorry. It’s hard to explain these things without it being all weird and confusing.” Kaileena thought about what Lyta said “Well you already have a leg up on the magic thing we aren’t even born yet in this time…I think?” She actually didn’t know if they had been born yet or not having been gone for awhile.

"Perseis is... it sometimes takes a while for her to warm up to people. Particularly when it comes to dating her eldest. Marriage, as I'm sure you know, is an entirely different level of dislike," Helios admitted. "Ever since my first husband... but she likes you now, Zarda," Circe reassured her, leaning over to kiss her tenderly. "She knows I won't ever give you up." That, and the fact that Circe was now the ultimate queen kind of put things into perspective.
"I threatened to never light the world again. To hide in the eternally dark places. Naturally, he relented and agreed to help me," Helios shrugged. It didn't seem that big of a deal. Everyone tended to find ways of making Zeus do what they wanted. "If she will show up, it'll be in more private locations. She's not really one to... mingle with riff-raff?" As he spoke, he sort of indicated the ex-horsemen. "Plus, I think she's mildly anti-social nowadays."
At the news of Dani's service being over at her death, Helios' demeanor changed, growing sad. "Then enjoy your time with your girlfriend, Dani. Rock her world. I insist." Seeing Nemesis approach, Circe sat up straighter, acting as if she were actually willing and ready to conduct some business. However, she frowned at the porno quip, mirroring the expression on her father's face. "You have something to tell me, Nemesis? And there aren't any children here on Aeaea, so I believe we're safe to talk about things most adults enjoy doing together."
"Don't give me that 'I haven't been born yet' crap. You're here breathing and talking to me. You're alive, so therefore you were born. And I don't know half of the things I've seen Melina do," Lyta argued. She had never been a fan of these stupid mindgames or philosophical type problems. It was almost scary how straight forward she was for an eighteen year old.

“You sure she doesn’t just tolerate me?” that was probably it Zarda could be annoying at times. “No one is good enough for her little girl….expect me the weird one.” Weird in she didn’t really do what was probably expected of her to do around gods and such. “We’re stuck with each other.”
Zarda nodded not saying anything on how wrong that was because of the sun being a hell of a lot bigger then Helios could ever move which he wouldn’t even be able to. “Oh shit.” Zarda said. Nemesis’ eyebrows shot up as she moved away from Helios as fast as she could not wanting to be near him when shit hit the fan. Aldrif was over waking Sif up so she could change back and they could go home after she thanked Circe until she heard what Helios said. Before anyone could blink the redhead was standing in front of the titan clearly angry with him. “I expected Zarda to be disrespectful to royalty but you should know better titan.” her eyes narrowing at him “And the so called riff-raff saved your ungrateful asses if it wasn’t for us Ultron would have found you and killed you!”
Kaileena never got the chance to answer Lyta due to what Helios said she slammed her plate down and got up from where she had been sitting. Then turned to face him “Wow it’s great to know my grandparent’s in this time are total assholes.” she sneared at him. “Since you think so little of us maybe you should leave and never come back.” she was oh so close to knocking him off his feet.
Dani suddenly shifted into the Angelus “You’ve dug yourself one hell of a grave, Helios. Best chose your words wisely before you end up getting buried.” Dani wasn’t happy with what he had said but she had other things to deal with so she decided to let girls deal with him. She flew into the air and disappeared in a flash of light heading off to Heaven and her own people.

"She loves you as much as a mother can love a daughter-in-law. And you are not weird. Well, you are a little bit, but that's what I love about you. You are my wife and I would never trade you for anyone else." Circe loved Zarda's quirks and personality. It lent an air of unexpectedness to their relationship. True, parts used to grate on the goddess, but they eventually worked things out and they were entirely happy with one another.
Helios had realised he had used the wrong wording a little too late, but that's what happened when your blood was busy rushing from your brain to another area entirely. He looked horrified and fearful as both Aldrif and Kaileena stood before him, rage clear in their eyes. "I mispoke! The wrong words escaped the fence of my mouth! Please my lady goddesses, I have wronged you, I know this. My tongue was loosened by being surrounded by such beauty that it knew not what it was doing. Queen Aldrif of the star-born radiance, I do beg your forgiveness, and from you, fiery-eyed Kaileena, child of my own daughter Circe of the beautiful tresses and speech like a mortal. The blame is my own. Tell me how I may soothe your wrath and I swear, by my own sacred light, it shall be done," Helios spoke, words becoming more formal and archaic as he knelt on the ground before them, fists upon his brow in a sign of honor and supplication. He had put power into his voice so that the Angelus would hear him as well, wanting to keep her happy too.
Everyone else was on their feet as well. Amora holding her hammer and watching the situation carefully in case she would need to intervene on either side. Circe stood between the two conflicting parties, trying to broker for peace between them all, and Lyta was holding on to Kaileena, not wanting her to end up killing another family member. "Kai! He didn't mean it! He's not really an asshole, him or Perseis! You know how we all can misspeak! We all mess up sometimes!" Lyta really needed to work on her negotiation skills. But hopefully Circe was doing a bit better.
"All-Mother, my father mispoke. That is a plain fact that we can see. But I tell you this, never once has he shown malice or ill-will towards anyone who did not rightly deserve it. My father is a good man though his tongue does wag and loll like a dog when it comes to beautiful women. In that respect he is a child. What can be done to make amends for his action? Speak and it shall be done." She then turned to Kaileena and for once Circe was at a loss for words. This was not how she expected to talk to her future daughter for the first time in ten years. So, she did the one thing that would make things easier; she got down on her knees.
"I had hoped that we would talk first under better circumstances. I am deeply sorry for Helios' insult. He does not think so little of you, Kaileena. Nor do I. Melina told me some of what happened and it broke my heart to hear it. Helios is a... he is the proverbial hothead and though he is a god of sight, he usually sees this from a distance rather than up close. He forgot himself. I do not want our relationship to start out like this. I will take the blame if you wish it." Her voice was soft and honest, like that of a mother talking to her child.

“I think you need to work on your wording dear. Not all mother’s love their in-laws much if at all even if they claim to.” it could go all sorts of ways but she’d let it drop because there was bigger problems to deal with at the moment.
Aldrif didn’t really find it amusing that his reason for speaking like he did was because of women. While Helios was going on and on about how sorry he was for what he had said Nemesis picked up a lot of rage heading this way. She poked Zarda before pointing “Above or below.” Nemesis said before tackling Helios to the ground laying on top of him and turned her shield on. Zarda tackled Circe, Aldrif heard it coming she leg swiped Sif off her feet before grabbing Lyta and Melina and taking off into the air. Kaileena tackled Amora then grabbed Sheena by the legs and pulled her off her feet just as the red swarm of bats flew over her head. Had the blonde woman still be standing she most likely would have been dead.
The swarm circled around once before they came together taking the shape of a winged woman better known as Purgatori. “Apparently the only way to get any answers is come up here.” She said as Nemesis looked over to Circe “That’s the problem I wanted to talk to you about…” They’ve been having some problems not just with Purgatori but with other godheads for the last few weeks weird things have been happening. No one knew why or how it was happening expect Nemesis had an idea. She wanted to talk to Circe about it first until drama happened.

It all happened so fast. Circe had been preoccupied with keeping her father alive and in one piece that she had failed to even realise the incoming deity was fast approaching. The next thing she knew, she found herself slammed down on the ground with Zarda holding tight to her and keeping her pinned. She knew better than to struggle and object. Though it was an unofficial title, Zarda had been nicknamed by a few of the other guards as Circe's wife and bodyguard. Where the goddess lacked certain abilities, her dark haired spouse made up for it, and the same thing could be said the other way around. Moments after being tackled, the bats flew overhead and Circe whispered a soft thank you to her savior.
Helios was rather shocked by the sudden actions of Nemesis. Women didn't often tackle him, so naturally he was momentarily confused before seeing the cloud of bats in the far distance fast approaching as he was taken to ground. Being a gentleman in this odd situation, the sun god kept his hands away from Nemesis' body, despite the fact that his face was wedged between her breasts. He decided it was best to also remain motionless and think hard thoughts on the one thing that had always turned his stomach; Ares and Aphrodite having sex. When the bats reformed, and when Nemesis finally moved, any remaining levity Helios had in him left as he laid his eyes upon Purgatori. He had no love for the woman, not after she killed his friend, the sun god Ra.
Amora, meanwhile, was... well, she was..... she supposed that she was at a loss at the moment. Kaileena could have tackled Sheena and grabbed her by the leg, but she didn't. Now the little goddess was holding her to the ground and Amora was simply stunned. Though she didn't have much free time while ruling Asgard, when she did, she would ask for Melina's company in order to learn better about the girl who loved another version of the Enchantress. It didn't often work, but she had gathered a good bit of information and insight. Now she kept her arms around Kaileena, not wanting her to sit up too soon lest one of the bats think her to be food.
"You could have sent word that you were coming, Purgatori," Circe said, brushing the grass and dirt from her clothes as she stood. Naturally, the goddess had a feeling that the scroll Nemesis held was just that. "What is the trouble? Invaders? A turf disagreement? If it is about the Caucasus and Scythian regions, you know I have a rightful claim to those areas."

When it was safe Zarda got up and helped Circe to her feet. Wondering what on earth was going on why was Purgatori here? She didn’t really bother with them she did her thing and they were left to do theirs everyone was happy. But she didn’t look all that happy right now for some reason.
“You know you weren’t so freaked out the first time you were between my breasts.” Nemesis told Helios just after she moved off him noticing the look he had on his face. But missed the look he gave the vampire. She got to her feet walking over to Circe “There’s been a number of attacks that’s happened between Asgard, Olympus, Necropolis and Heaven. There’s been symbols left from the different groups but everyone is denying it. Either way if we don’t figure this out I believe there’s going to be a war of the gods.” She told the Sky-Mother. “Most of them have been in Circe’s name.” Purgatori said.
Kaileena realized what she had done and moved off Amora as fast as she could. Over the ten years she had gotten over the blonde woman and now feelings were starting to reshow themselves and she did not want to go down that road again. Even though this wasn’t the woman she had fallen in love with so long ago she still looked like her mostly. She moved away from the woman not wanting to be near her right now. Aldrif landed and put down the girls she had taken with her.

"It's not your breasts that freak me out, my dear Nemesis. It's the ever so darling red skinned vampire who decided to show up just now. I don't like her. She killed a friend of mine," Helios informed the other goddess. He decided it would probably be best to keep quiet and keep his distance from Purgatori, just in case some stupid happened between them. Besides, the noon hour was almost up and he would have to leave soon.
"Attacks done in my name? That's insane. I have never, nor would I ever call for attacks done against the other pantheons." Hell, even when Circe had masterminded the 'War of the Gods' all those years ago, all she did was awaken the old deities and put in their minds that they should be the ones ruling earth, not the other 'false gods'. "What's been going on exactly? How long and how many of these attacks have occurred? What are these symbols being left behind. I want answers and I want them now." Who or what would be crazy enough to instill the idea that Circe would want another war between the gods? As far as she knew, they were all living together ideally. Yes, there was the occasional squabble, but that's what gods did. "I want a meeting called of all the gods. I want to get to the bottom of this as soon as I can."
Helios gently touched Circe's arm. "While I can't deviate from the Sun's path, I will keep watch and look for anything suspicious. If I find it, I will let you know," he told her before kissing her cheek and departing.
Amora let Kaileena scramble away, a bit disappointed, but understanding why she did such a thing. Amora wanted to stop her and ask to talk, but she figured it would be best to wait a few days, let her regain her footing and place on earth. Petty questions and concerns could wait. See? She had grown up a little, emotion-wise. It was possible to do such a thing.
Lyta was grateful for being saved and not turned into bat food, though the sudden take-off had left her stomach in knots. "Thank you All-Mother," she said respectfully before checking on Zabu and Dillios, making sure they were safe.
