Zarda opened the door to their new home and let Lyta go in first before she picked up Circe and carried her into the house. It wasn’t much pretty simple but Zarda had a feeling Circe would change that make it look how she wanted it which most likely be Greek the only Greek home in Asgard. “Home sweet home...I guess.” she said before putting Circe down so she could look around the place herself. The only thing they were missing was the animals Circe usually had roaming the island scaring the birds off and playing with Lyta. And the ocean they couldn’t really bring that along with them.
A thought suddenly popped into her head “Now that we’re living here does this mean we’re going to end up pasty white?” she asked as she sat down on a chair. They didn’t have sun all year around like they did back home. And even being outside everyday they probably wouldn’t tan much. But then again it might not happen unlike Thor who seemed to be pretty pale Sif had a nice tan she actually looked like she could pass off as a Greek. Maybe it was just Odin’s blood that made them all pale. “So what do you think?” She asked looking over at Lyta to see what the little goddess thought about it all.

Circe chuckled as she was carried across the threshold of their new home. The goddess was back to looking normal, like her usual young, ravishing self. As old and as worldly as she was, Circe still giggled when Zarda did such... well, she would call it childish, but the majority of what her wife did could be considered childish, and she loved every moment of it. "It's nice. A little small, perhaps, but we can make do." Magic could do a lot of miracles. Already she was thinking about renovations. Not entirely Greek, but rather a mix of the two cultures. There were some interesting decorative traits that the Asgardians had in their homes. "The three of us will work on the place. Lyta does her room and we do the rest of her house."
She smirked at Zarda's sudden thought."I'll make sure you still retain a healthy glow. We can install a tanning bed, or I can give you it another way. Daughter of the sun, remember? My darling, immortal wife will not be pasty white in this plane of existence. Or on any plane for that matter." With that, she kissed her tenderly before going to look around more thoroughly.
Lyta was busy finding any special secrets in the house. There were two bedrooms and she knew she would get the smaller one. As for how she would decorate it, she wasn't really sure yet. At the moment she liked pink and fluffy things. And kitties. That thought made the little goddess sad all over again, remembering the pets that were still at home. She hoped they were okay. She tried not to cry thinking about them. "I... it's okay. I like it. Daddy-Zarda? Can... if it's okay, can I have a pet again? I don't want to be alone in the house if you and mommy are gone."

“Compared what we’re used to living in it is small.” Zarda said having a feeling Circe would do something about that she could actually see the purple haired goddess plotting things as she looked around. “Sounds like a plan.” she replied hoping she didn’t have to do a whole lot the alien could do a lot of stuff but when it came to how a home should look it wasn’t she was good at other than moving things around. That was about as much as she could do.
Zarda smirked at the thought before it faded away when she realized that Circe’s parent’s might not even be alive anymore. Even though she didn’t get along very well with Circe’s parent’s they were still family. But she decided it wasn’t best to bring such things up and depress everyone all over again. “Can you really picture me in a tanning bed? Scared over what I’d look like if I was pasty white?” she said before kissing Circe back.
“I don’t see why not as long as your mother is fine with it that is.” she had a feeling Circe wouldn’t care if Lyta had a pet or two after all they had a whole island fill with animals “I just don’t want to wake up with a tiger heavily breathing in my face.” It didn’t happen much but when it did she didn’t enjoy it at all when she wakes up and instead of Circe snuggled up to her she get's an up close look of a tigers mouth hanging open. Not the wake up call she enjoyed.

“The house on Aeaea was not that big,” Circe insisted. All right, so it had been three stories, but technically one of those floors was a basement used purely for work purposes, so that didn’t really count. And so what if it had been made mostly of marble with inlaid mosaics, hardwood floors, decorative detailing and furniture that would make even the most wealthiest of mortals feel like a beggar once inside? She certainly didn’t feel the need to justify her spenditures, especially when she was as old as she was and, technically, she didn’t spend one cent on crafting her home. This new place would receive similar treatment, but a Greek villa didn’t belong in such northern climates. After all, this places seemed like it would take the four seasons to the extreme.
“You in a tanning bed? No, I can’t picture that,” she smirked. If it was one thing she knew about Zarda, it was her tendency to be clothing optional, so the thought of her tanning nude in one of those machine, just didn’t seem to fit. The goddess chewed on her lower lip, trying to think of a plan. She wasn’t sure how well she would be able to control the climate around the house. Her island was one thing, but even then, she normally only tweaked the weather. As for the optional nudity, a bit of privacy wouldn’t be too hard to accomplish, whether through magic or simply location. That had been the reason to choose one of the more remote and rural houses in Asgard.
Circe saw the smile drop and a pained expression passed over her face. She knew exactly what Zarda was thinking. “They’re not dead. I would have felt it. I’m sure they’re fine.” Honestly, Circe hadn’t given a thought about her parents until now. Their home was in the Cacausus Mountains, and even then it wasn’t quite on the same plane of existence as earth. “The sun is still shining. They’re fine.” That was a point which the two of them had argued over constantly; whether or not Circe’s father actually drove the sun during the day. Yes, she was not a fool and she knew how the universe worked, but she also remembered seeing him mount his blazing chariot and leave through the gates of Dawn every morning as a child. As he did, the sun would rise and he would not return until the sun set that evening.
Lyta, though, was oblivious to what her parents were talking about, as some children are in points of their life. She was just happy to know she would get a pet. “Thank you, daddy,” she smiled, hugging Zarda tightly. “I’m gonna see if I can get another tiger.” She did love her striped cats.

“Of course not.” Zarda said smirking from her place in the chair while she watched Circe think about things. Probably how she wanted the place to look. “You're going to have to find a way to make a workshop here.” Not a whole lot of room for such a thing but Circe probably had idea’s on how to deal with that problem as well as all the other room they’ll need for different things.
“This is going to be a hard place for you to live in isn’t it? Child of the sun doesn’t do well in the snow and cold does she.” Zarda had no problems dealing with the changes in the weather Circe most likely didn’t do so well in the snow and cold Lyta she wasn’t really sure but probably close to being in the same boat as her mother was. “I’ll have to make sure this place is stocked with wood when it gets colder.”
Zarda looked over at Circe “You can read minds now?” she wasn’t really even sure how Circe knew what all she was thinking about. She decided not to say anything about Circe’s second comment the sun would still shine if her father had died. He might have some powers linked to the sun but it was highly unlikely he was the reason the sun rose and set each day. At most he was an avatar of the sun nothing more then that even though Circe seemed to think otherwise.
“You're welcome.” she said before hugging Lyta back and kissing her on the cheek. “Ask your mommy if the tiger can have minty fresh breath.” She said joking knowing tigers were always going to have breath that smelled worse than death.

Circe smiled at the mention of her workshop. Kneeling, she placed her hand on the cool stone floor. There then came a low rumbling from beneath them followed by the appearance of a doorway in a wall where there hadn't been one moments before. "Well, that's one problem taken care of. Now for the rest of the house." With that, she demurely sat in Zarda's lap. "What would you like to see this house have?" Anything her wife thought of, Circe would make happen.
"I don't know. I've never actually lived in a place that was like this. We had snow when I was little, but I was never cold." She remembered playing in deep snow drifts in a simple little summer gown, but Circe had no idea if the lack of cold was due to her father's home or not. However, when the goddess looked back at her wife, she saw the non-believing look that was likely one Zarda's face. "Okay, no, I don't like the snow and cold. What normal, sane person would like it? Why would they live in places where it snows more feet than the height of a normal human?" She was always sluggish and grumpy in the winter time, preferring to stay curled up in bed under covers. "I'll try to keep it warm in here during winter." Perhaps she should ask a local what the weather is like during those months.
"I saw the look on your face after I mentioned being a child of the sun..." she told her softly. The worry was evident in her voice, though she tried to hide it. "If the robots are ever destroyed, I will go to my parents' home, just to settle my mind." That was a big 'if'.
Upon hearing her daughter's request, Circe produced a stuffed tiger toy that, upon Lyta touching it, turned into a cub. "He'll stay small for the time being, but once we are fully moved in, I'll make him full size." At that, Lyta grinned and ran off to her room, holding the cub close. "And I gave him fresh breath just so you don't have to deal with that in the morning," Circe smiled. "Am I not the best wife in the world?"

Zarda raised an eyebrow at the low rumble “Making your own basement workshop?” she asked as Circe sat down in her lap “I’m not sure yet I need to figure out what type of job to get.” She didn’t really need to work but it’d keep her from getting bored because you do not want a bored Zarda because she’ll start destroying things to do something and that would be bad. She wasn’t planning to get on Aldrif’s bad side. Even though Circe was powerful she wasn’t a match for the Odinforce or was it the Aldrifforce? either way Circe would be destroyed.
“Um...me? I like the snow and cold.” to a point at least she’d rather be in the sunshine though. Everything she liked to do was when it was warm out. “Lot’s of human’s and human’s need room and all that crap.” She replied before kissing Circe on the shoulder “Or I could I do know how to use an axe. You know.” Zarda said not wanting Circe to do all the work around here. She was more than able to pull her weight around here.
“Right. I’m sure we’ll reclaim the earth someday.” She had a feeling they’ll find a way to get it back she just didn’t know how that would happen or when. But she had a feeling it’ll happen at some point. They just needed time and at this point they seemed to have a lot of it right now because no one was really doing much anymore sure people were getting jobs but this is a lot different than what people are used to doing.
Zarda sat there watching the two talk before Lyta ran off with her tiger cub. “The startings of a kitten army.” she said before looking at Circe when she told her that the cat had fresh breath that caused her to laugh “The best wife ever.” she kissed her.

The goddess nodded. "You know me. I feel better once I have my workshop and bed in place. And I thought you already worked hard at being my wife and insatiable sex god in bed." Of course, Circe had already been planning to have a job, or at least to do something on the side, and she had decided this before reuniting with Zarda. She had always been one of the best herbalist in all of the Mediterranean, so why not continue that practice in Asgard? Besides, who knew what sort of medicine they had here?
Circe gave Zarda a look. "Sweetie, you don't get cold. You're perfectly fine flying through space. And it is cold in space. Not to mention the lack of air? I... I'm more of a summer girl," she mumbled. As powerful as Circe thought she was, the goddess realised her limits once she met Zarda. The woman was near perfect in so many ways and while, at first, Circe was reluctant to be dependent and weak around her, now it didn't bother her so much. "I know it's silly of me to say it, but please be careful." She then smiled. "Zarda the lumberjack."
She didn't reply to her wife's hope. Instead she just curled up against her. Yes, thanks to godly genetics and divine horniness, Circe had a large and tangled family tree, but she did not have a large family, as she considered it. There was her, Zarda, Lyta, and her parents. True her sister was still alive, but she resided in the Underworld with her husband, and though Zarda's family was huge and always welcoming, space travel was currently out of the question.
"I love you so much, Zarda. More than you will ever know," she told her once the kiss was over. Silently she added, please don't die again.

“You still need our bed but other then that any maybe a few changes I think we have everything we need. I do but you know what happens when I get bored things end up getting destroyed and we don’t want that to happen.” She hadn’t a clue as to what she could do even trying to think of something right now she wasn’t having much luck.
“I know you are which is why I want to make sure both you and Lyta are nice and warm during the cold months.” She said before laying her head on the back of the chair. “One thing you don’t have to worry about is me losing a body part while using an axe.” She said before raising an eyebrow at what Circe said. “A lumberjack?” she thought on it a moment before speaking “I’m not wearing suspenders or plaid flannel shirts or those boots.” She had no problems wearing normal boots but she wasn’t going to wear ugly one’s.
“I know more than you think I do.” she said before getting up and carrying Circe to their bedroom kicking off her boots before closing the door behind them. She place Circe down on the bed before joining her she wasn’t really looking for sex but if it happened so be it if not that was fine she just wanted to lay with Circe in her arms they hadn’t really been able to be alone like this since getting here.

"The bed will be the next thing I change. And perhaps make this place just a bit bigger," Circe replied softly. But they had time to make changes. Plenty of time."I know you hate being bored. So do I. I'm sure we'll find you something to do to entertain yourself, especially during those horrible, long, dark winter nights." Her demeanor drooped a bit upon realizing that sort of change. If Asgard was anything like Earth, they would have periods where there would be no sun at all, only twilight at the most. She didn't know how she'd be able to handle that.
"Wear whatever you like and be whatever you like, Zarda. Hell, command an army, leads raids against those ice giants.... start a MMA fight club for all I care. Take up knitting and needlework." Her eyes twinkled with mischief at the last one. "I just want you happy and healthy. We both look after each other, just like we both look after Lyta. And don't tell me that a person can't make flannel sexy, darling." For a moment Circe's clothing changed to that of a very skimpy green and gold plaid flannel bikini. "See? Sexy."
The moment Circe's back hit the mattress, the bed changed to what they had on Aeaea, and most of the room followed, save for a few accents to leave it with a Nordic flair. Normally, the goddess would have begun kissing and teasing her wife as soon as they were settled in bed, but instead they just rested and laid there in each others arms. They both share a connection now, having each been killed, and if Zarda was like Circe, then neither would talk about their experience, if they could remember it at all. But the silence seemed to speak volumes and the goddess was just happy to hold her wife close and listen to her heartbeat.
After what felt like ages, whatever slight tension Circe held melted away and her body relaxed entirely, the first time since the invasion. Head resting on Zarda's chest, she was once again happy, and planted a kiss on the pulse point of her wife's neck. "Let's stay here forever."

Zarda held Circe close “I’ll make sure you’ll make it through those long boring winters.” she said noticing the way Circe was acting when she realized that the winters could be light as in the sun never really went down.
“I don’t think they’ll let me command an army.” she had no plans to work for Aldrif she just wasn’t sure what she was going to do. “MMA.” she repeated she wasn’t totally sure about that but it did kind of give her an idea about doing something similar she just needed to ponder on some things first. She was pulled out of those thoughts when Circe suggested doing something totally different from what she’s ever done. “Not in a million years would I do knitting and needlework.” No amount of sexy pouty Circe would ever get her to do knitting and needlework. “I am happy and healthy. Alright we’ll look after each other.” She raised an eyebrow as Circe changed her clothes “Okay maybe a little sexy.”
Zarda had closed her eyes as she held Circe so she didn’t really notice to changes to the room yet. But she did know she was in her own bed and not the one that had came with the house. “I’d love to stay here forever but eventually Lyta is going to come looking for us.” and it wouldn’t be that hard for the little goddess to find them either.

“You’ll keep me warm, you’ll keep me busy, why Zarda, if I didn’t know any better, I’d swear you plan on keeping me in bed all winter long. Doing what, I’m not entirely sure, but we’ll probably think of something,” Circe replied with a smirk. The mischief didn’t end there. “Yes, true, you would not be allowed to lead an official army, but I think Lyta would be extremely happy having you as a four star general in her kitten army. I think you would look magnificent trying to keep those adorable little fuzzballs in line, and Lyta too,” she chuckled. Truth be told, Lyta loved Zarda, looking up to the woman like the father she was trying to be. She never really knew her real sire, Ares, since the god never visited, but when Circe was teaching the Lyta to speak, ‘Zarda’ kept coming out like ‘dada’, so they decided to let it be, giving her two parents instead of one.
Seeing the gleam in Zarda’s eyes made the goddess curious. “What are you planning that has to deal with MMA? And don’t knock knitting, needlework, or weaving. I’m actually rather good at the latter.” That comment made her wonder if she should take up the hobby again, if just to keep boredom at bay.
As if on cue, there came a little knock at the door. “You spoke her name and summoned her, you wicked magician,” Circe joked in a stage whisper before getting up and answering the door in a robe. “What is it, my little star?” she asked as her daughter stared wide-eyed at their new bedroom. “Can you make my bedroom up? I think I know what I want.” Smiling softly, Circe nodded and looked back at her wife. “We’re going to decorate things. Be back in a little bit.” The child’s wishes were simple and easy to predict, though Circe let her speak and decide before actually making the magic happen. Everything was the same soft pastel colors, the same plush carpeting, and her same four poster bed, but as the room took shape, the little goddess became distressed and sad, at one point breaking down into fresh tears. “I don’t want to live here, I want to go home!” she cried as Circe held her close, rocking her gently. “I know, baby, I know. I miss home too. But the island is safe and the robots will be beaten and we’ll go home one day.” “I miss my bow,” Lyta sniffled as her mother dried her tears. The bow had been a gift from Zarda on Lyta’s eighth birthday and it was her most cherished possession. The spell Circe had crafted took only the most essential, powerful, and dangerous items off the island, and now the sorceress was mentally kicking herself for not transporting the entirety of their home to safety, though the process would have taken longer and possibly cost them their lives.
“I’m sure it’s still there. Robots have no use for exquisite weapons like that. But tomorrow we’ll go shopping, and if you find a bow you like, it’s yours.” Her daughter nodded quietly, her mood improving, but not wanting to finish her room. While Circe couldn’t bring the exact same items here, with a wave of her hand, Lyta’s room was completed to the best of her abilities; new copies of books were on the shelves and her toys and stuffed animals covered the floor and bed. “You will get to go home and we will get your bow back. Has your mommy and daddy ever given up on anything?” Lyta shook her head, lavender curls bouncing. “Then you know that we won’t stay here forever. If need be, I will find a way to bring Aeaea to Asgard." That in itself would be a task. The last time Circe had moved an island to another plane, it had left her magic drained for months.
"But for now, think of this as a vacation, like when we visited grandma Kaileena and granddad Xander.” At that, Lyta’s head shot up. “Can we visit them? Did the robots get them?” Seeing as how they lived on a different planet that was far away, Circe doubted that they were dead. “If your daddy survived the robots, they would too. And we’ll see about trying to contact them.” Circe didn’t believe it would be that easy though, but then again she rarely used interdimensional communication. “For now let’s think about what we’ll have for dinner and what you’re going to name your tiger. Okay?” She nodded. “Niobe. And I want spanakopita and hummus and pita and stuffed grape leaves. And chicken.” Finger foods mostly, but not out of the ordinary. “As my lady wishes,” Circe replied with a bow, making Lyta giggle. “And what would my lady wife like to eat?” she asked, figuring that Zarda was either at the door or could hear their discussion anyways thanks to her enhanced hearing.
