The job requests came as expected, at least that's what the Enchantress though. The hairy dwarf, Logan, wanted to be the best of the best, Viper wanted power, and Natasha was playing it safe by choosing what she knew how to do. This was not surprising to Amora at all. She wondered how long it would take for these heroes and villains to go back to their old lifestyles while on Asgard. If that happened, they likely wouldn't last long after that. At least Viper wouldn't.
She was about to comment on each person's choice when a white light filled the room and suddenly Loki was there, being suddenly abused by an enraged woman. That was not entirely new, though the woman was not Sif. But what she was saying, the blonde sorceress paled at those words. She had no such plans with Loki nor had she ever met this girl before, let alone fallen in love with her. What was the meaning of this? What magic had brought these people forth? Admittedly, Amora was unfamiliar with the magical signature the was left by the light, but she was currently more afraid for herself as she watched Loki's skull be cleaved in two.
Amora had no idea how this woman would react, seeing her standing there, clearly not dead or impaled with horns, and she most certainly did not wish to have a fate like that of Loki's. Changing her appearance or simply teleporting away was always an option, but Amora did not want Aldrif to suspect treachery of any sort, so the sorceress simply stayed put, prepared tto defend herself if need be.

Now that Loki had been taken care of Kaileena looked around the place realizing it wasn’t she was suppose to be. That’s when she noticed she wasn’t alone no one looked like anyone she knew expect “Amora!” ripping her sword free she ran towards the blonde raising her sword she brought it down to deliver a killing blow only for it to be blocked and shoved back. That was close Sara thought as she watched the girl in front of her thankfully the Witchblade knew what was going to happen before it actually did somewhat it didn’t know everything before it happened. But that wasn’t the end of it the two women began a dual of blades no one was able to find an opening to get an upper hand.
Logan glared at Viper as he popped his middle claw at her before running off towards the fight only to get side kicked by Kaileena and sent through a wall just after she knocked Sara away from her. At this time she retrieved her daggers only to spin around to come face to face with Clark. “I don’t want to hurt you but I will if you don’t stop.” he said to her. “I’m not going to stop until Amora’s dead.” she swung her fist at him he did the same when their fists hit one another a shock wave was created from the force of the punch shattering any glass near by. That didn’t really stop them from trading punches with one another.
Aldrif was about to put a stop to this when she saw that Ratohnhake:ton was up to something instead of doing what she had planned she enhanced the dart making sure it was strong enough to knock the girl out. When the moment came raised his right wrist and fired the dart as Kaileena kneed Clark between the legs causing him to fall over. The dart hit her in the neck just as she looked at Amora to get back on track. She started her walk towards the woman but didn’t get very far “You blue skinned whore.” she said before falling to the ground Logan walked over and searched her over finding the dart and some kind of silver choker.
Logan gave the dark a sniff before pulling it away “Out like a light.” he said as he looked over at Amora “You really need to pick better girlfriends.” When he said that the guards had finally showed up. “Take her to a cell.” Aldrif ordered before looking at Amora “You and I need to talk later.” she then looked to Natasha “Find out what you can about the girl something isn’t making sense here and I want answers.” she told the younger redheaded woman.

Things never seem to work out as one would hope, and for some idiotic reason, Amora had thought the psychotic, sword-wielding madwoman would not notice her standing by the throne. Clearly insanity and a lust for blood and death didn't diminish her eyesight at all. The sorceress raised her hands as the woman ran towards her, putting all of her will into a protective barrier between her and the blade and hoping it was not infused with magic.
Thankfully, most of the recruits came to her defense, save for Viper, who was watching with a slightly amused look on her face, and Natasha, who seemed to know better than involve herself with someone who was trading blows with a Kryptonian. "Why do you wish for my death?!" she yelled. "I have done nothing to earn your wrath!" That was the truth as far as Amora knew. She had not been planning anything with Loki, and she certainly hadn't used this girl as she so claimed. Amora had never seen her before in her life.
The sorceress paled when she heard what she was called. Just how many people knew what she was? As far as she knew, only Aldrif and Sif knew her heritage. This was getting more confusing by the minute. "She is not my girlfriend, Logan. I've never seen her before," she told him with a glare. Naturally she was not believed, if Aldrif's tone was any indication. "All-Mother, I swear to you that I do not know this woman. I will explain myself in any way possible," she said as the watched the girl carried off with Natasha following behind her.

Aldrif sat back in her seat now that things have calmed down once more. Logan handed her the choker having a feeling it was important for some reason. Now that she had it she could tell it was made with magic for what reason she didn’t know. But she would keep it until she got an answer or found the owner because she knew the girl hadn’t made it that much was clear. She put the choker away for the time being for now she had a meeting to finish.
“I’ll take your word for it for now.” Until she got answers from her new spy once the girl woke up again and was able to talk and answer questions. But for now she turned back to the others. “I don’t think you're up to par to be a Valkyrie let alone an assassin.” she said to Viper having seen she hadn’t done anything even if she didn’t have an weapon she could have still done something more then enough things around to use even if it didn’t stop her. “Perhaps something more simple? A fisherman or a shoe maker?” she suggested with Logan standing behind the former HYDRA agent snickering at Aldrif’s suggestions for Viper.

Viper glared at Aldrif, shocked and furious at the woman's words. "A fisherman or a shoemaker? Are you blind or just stupid, All-Mother? I was not the only inactive person here. Neither your advisor nor your precious new spy did anything to contribute to your safety or the girl's capture. They simply stood there as well or, in the case of Amora, protected herself," Viper snarled, pointing an accusing finger at the blonde woman. "What do you think being an assassin is? Just another killer? You learn about you target first. She stood on par with a young and inexperienced Kryptonian! That race, when given enough yellow sun, is limitless when it comes to strength, so unless you stripped that away when you gifted everyone with Asgardian-level abilities, that girl is not something to be trifled with. Your damn elite guard is useless because he has no tactics, just pops his claws and runs in. How many times has that succeeded and failed, Logan?" she asked, glaring at the little man. "He may be 'the best at what he can do' but tax his healing factor enough or keep him bleeding and he is beaten. You don't just need strength to help you rule, you need tactics and knowledge."
The anger inside Viper was rising, but she refused to give into just yet. "I've seen fools like you before, Aldrif, those that decide to rule and, against better judgement, throw away their best assets." She walked around Loki's corpse, eyes flicking between it and Aldrif. "Part of me thinks that you would rule a world of corpses and ashes, so long as it got your damn ass on the throne. Give me an actual challenge to prove myself, oh great All-Mother," she purred, her tone slightly mocking. Flexing her gloved hands, claws extended from their fingertips. Acting fast, she lunged at Logan, left hand slashing at his throat while the right embedded itself high in his thigh, lacerating his femoral artery. She hadn't re-filled the anti-coagulant venom inside the claws, so the amount left was unknown, but perhaps there was enough to prove a point. Oh, it was a pointless gesture, but taking her frustrations out on him rather than Aldrif herself felt so satisfying.
"Reminds you of our wedding, doesn't it, Logan?" she growled, grabbing his wrists and kneeing him in the bloody groin for good measure.

Aldrif narrowed her eyes at Viper calling her stupid but she let Viper do her little rant and abuse one of her elite guards. When she was done with Logan for the moment Aldrif’s ribbon’s slithered across the floor and wrapped themselves around Viper’s ankles the pulled with enough force to cause her to fall on the floor before being dragged back towards the All-Mother. “Such a cocky little thing isn’t she?” she said as the ribbon’s lifted Viper up leaving her hanging upside down. “I’m the greatest hunter in all of heaven I’ve massacred an entire races within a day. And what have you done? Oh that’s right you ran HYDRA didn’t you? A part of it at least. You and HYDRA are nothing but an annoyance that’s what you are coming in here flapping your lips like you know everything when you know nothing little speck.”
“If you plan on being any type of warrior in Asgard you're going to have to learn how to think on your feet standing there like an idiot watching people fight will only get you killed. Not only that you’ll almost always be dealing with people much stronger than you.” She grabbed Viper by the hair pulling her face close to hers. “But it seems you have a fear of dying because if you didn’t you would have jumped into the battle no matter the outcome.” she then slapped Viper hard on the face “Touch any of my guards like that again and I’ll break your hands to the point you’ll never be able to use them again. Is that clear?” the ribbon's tossed Viper across the room like she was a rag doll "But if you're bent on proving your so much better than I am. Then you’ll just have to prove it won't you?” she said a portal opening up under Viper causing her to fall in a sword soon followed after her “Kill the group of rogue frost giants do that and I’ll give you whatever job you want if you can’t don’t bother coming back.”

Did she actually expect to get very far with injuring Logan? No. Which was why suddenly being yanked off of her feet by those ribbons of Aldrif wasn't too much of a surprise. However, it was exceedingly humiliating. Viper glared at the woman as she was grabbed and slapped. "You know nothing about me, Aldrif. Though I'm curious to find out how many people you've sent to their graves. Only fools blindly give up their lives just so they can they died following orders," she growled before spitting in her face. She was rewarded by being tossed across the room. Viper landed hard but the defiance still shone in her eyes when she looked up. Her childhood and HYDRA had both instilled in her that only the strong survived. The ones that were weak or far too agreeable often ended up dead, either by their own foolishness or because someone else saw them more useful as fodder to further their own careers.
As Viper stood, the floor gave way beneath, and she could feel the cold almost instantly as she fell, landing in a deep snow drift. Her uniform would offer some minor protection from the elements, but it would not keep her from freezing to death if she lingered too long. The sword she was given was large and heavy; an instrument used for powerful thrusts and hacks; something a warrior would have used when they were standing their ground to the last man rather than feinting and countering the enemy as they delivered lightning quick slashes to their weak points. Nevertheless, she took the weapon and started walking, having no clue where the giants would be.
As it happened, they found Viper. But how creatures twenty or thirty feet tall could sneak up on her, she did not know. They just appeared out of the snow. Ice blue and covered in furs, there were four who charged the green woman almost immediately. At first the snow hindered her movements, the large drifts tiring her quickly, causing her to be on the defensive more than anything else. Thankfully, the giants only had the most rudimentary of weapons; clubs and sticks used for beating, rather than forged weapons, though one had what appeared to be an axe carved from ice. Dodging one weapon caused her to get in the path of another, knocking her backwards into a copse of trees and shattering her sword in the process. Whether that was something the giants had planned or if they were simply swinging at her randomly, Viper did not know, but their actions actually did her a favor.
Taking the largest fragment left from her sword, a piece slightly larger than a foot and still holding a wicked edge, Viper used the cover under the trees to hide her tracks and climbed the branches into one further in the copse. The giants soon followed, intent on finishing what it was they had started. They were looking down, searching under the trees, their own steps fouling up and hiding any evidence of her passage. When the last one passed her hiding spot, that was when Viper struck. Quickly, she leapt on the back of the nearest one and jammed her blade into the base of its skull. The creature gasped, giving a soft, startled gurgling sound as it just collapsed, its spinal cord severed.
Wasting no time, Viper yanked out her blade and dashed towards a second giant. Not stopping, she slipped between it's legs, slashing at the Achilles' Tendon in one leg, while hamstringing the other. It bellowed, dark blue-ish red blood staining its skin as it tried to lunged forward and grab at her, only to collapse onto the snow in pain.
Hearing the second giant’s cry, the remaining two turned towards the sound, and the one with the club swung instinctively towards it. Whether it was to counter an attack it thought was coming or if it just reacted to the noise, Viper was unsure. Either way, she would have liked to say she dodge it cleanly, but that was not the case. The fallen giant reached out for her just as the club came around. They both suffered for it; the club clipping Viper’s leg as well as smashing the hamstrung giant’s fingers. The pain was intense but Viper had to force herself through it. She had survived worse, she told herself, the scars on her body were proof of her survival. She could lay in agony later.
Out of nowhere a large icy spear shot past her, embedding itself in the tree trunk next to Viper. She did not question where it had come from, she only saw one of the giants reaching for the shaft. Swinging herself up onto the icy weapon, Viper jumped to the giant’s arm and scrambled up to its head. The look on its face was one of shock, as if it couldn’t believe this little green thing would actually be stupid enough to do such a thing, but it proved two things to Viper. One; that her injured leg could still bear weight, at least for the time being, and two; that none of these giants were prepared for up close combat. She used the surprised brute’s gaping mouth as an opportunity to attack, driving her blade up through the roof of its mouth. The risk of losing her arm was great, but it was a chance she was willing to take. The giant gagged and retched as the blade sunk deep. In its death throes, Viper lost her grip on the weapon, and the last giant saw its chance at revenge. It wrapped its meaty fist around her waist, yanking her away from its brethren.
There was a pause in the battle then. Viper saw the slow comprehension dawn on the giant as it looked down at its three dead companions, the hamstringed one’s head currently buried face down in the snow, smothered beneath the bulk of the most recently killed one. The giant brought her close, studying her intently. She watched as the rage kindled in its eyes and soon boiled over. His grip tighten around her body. Viper gasped in pain, finding it hard breathe. She struggled ineffectively in the creature’s grasp, letting out an unexpected scream as she felt bones beginning to break. At that noise, the giant paused in its efforts to kill her, a certain gleam in its eyes becoming apparent. It was a look Viper was intimately familiar with. It liked to cause pain more than it liked to kill. It took his finger and gently stroked the side of her head, brushing her hair back from the scarred side of her face. Viper shuddered at his cold touch. “Please…. Please don’t kill me…” she whispered, reaching a shaking hand out to him. At that he smiled and brought her closer, telling her something in a foreign, guttural tongue. “What?” she asked. “I don’t… don’t understand you…” Again, the giant spoke, slower this time, as if talking to a child. Either way, it didn’t matter as Viper was close enough.
The claws in her gloves popped out as she shoved her hands deep into his eyes, tearing into them like some strange fruit and feeling her nails scape the back of the sockets. The blinded giant howled and flung Viper far. It was a tree trunk that broke her fall as well as knocking her unconscious.
She came to hearing the wet sounds of flesh being torn and eaten. Opening her eyes, she found herself half buried in snow as two massive wolf-like beasts feasting upon the dead giants. She could see the blind one’s body had been mauled, its throat torn out. They must have heard the fighting and smelled the blood. The blind one, in its condition, would have been easily flanked and taken done. “Cut off one head, two more shall take its place,” she breathed, watching the beasts eat. “Satisfied, Aldrif? Or must I bring you back a pair of wolf skins as well?” she asked, not even sure if the damn woman could hear her. Not that it mattered. Viper could barely move. Her breaths came in short, painful gasps. She felt at least two broken ribs and the nauseous feeling would not leave her. Her head throbbed and her vision was blurring at the edges. As if consciousness was a cue, Viper rolled over slightly and vomited. At least there was no blood in the bile and it relieved the pain for the moment. “I would even settle for my bastard ex to show up,” she muttered, covering the bile with more snow so as not to look at it.

Of all the places this woman could have ended up why did it have to be Jötunheimr? She wasn’t bothered by the cold per say she just hated snow it got everything wet and it made you walk weird and everything is the same dull color. At least finding her wasn’t a hard thing to do not all that hard to miss a group of frost giant bodies lying in pools of blood and the wolves were really hard to miss. Sighing she jumped off of Lorelei leaving her to deal with the wolves while she dealt with the woman.
Melina landed near the woman “Today is your lucky day or maybe it’s mine? Seeing as I’m not your bastard ex.” she replied after hearing the woman’s plea for someone to save her. She watched the woman not really sure if she wanted to touch the woman not wanting to be puked on. Yeah she saw that even though Viper was covering it up. “What in the ten realms did you do to end up in a hole like this?” she asked wanting to know why she was here and the reason for Aldrif sending her here to retrieve the woman she didn’t really seem like much.

Viper looked up at the woman. "No, you're not my ex. You're definitely an improvement over him, being tall and blonde rather than short and hairy," she answered, struggling to stand and get out of the snow. Viper had noticed the dragon, not that it was something hard to ignore. The beast was.... it looked almost irritated that it had to be here, not unlike its rider. Neither seemed to be fans of the snow and the cold.
"I expressed an unpopular opinion and got punished for thinking that way. Who would have thought that rushing headfirst into an unknown battle would be the intelligent thing to do?" she asked, not really expecting to be answered. "So I was tasked with killing these frost giants. I think she expected me to die instead." Viper glanced around at the carnage she caused and noted that the wolves had left, or at least moved off to a safer distance, away from the new guest and her pet. "I take it you're here to retrieve me?" She certainly wasn't a native, not with the way she was dressed. "You have an impressive and beautiful creature there, Miss...?"

“Thank the gods it would be a tragedy to be short and hairy.” The thought of being overly hairy was a disturbing thought she was on the vain side she got that from her father but it wasn’t to an insane degree like it had been with her father years ago which ended up changing at some point when she didn’t have to worry about aging anymore.
“A viking god would think that which is what an Asgardian truly is. They welcome death and they will fight until the enemy is dead or they are because they know when they die they have a place in Valhalla waiting for them.” She looked over at the massive bodies before using her magic to destroy them leaving no trace of them “Probably or she would think you would give up and just try to survive here until you were killed by something.”
Lorelei made her way over to the two now that the wolves ran off “I am. Are you planning on taking your revenge on her?” She didn’t want to be apart of it but she knew what happened to those that tried such things. They either ended up dead or some place unpleasant for the rest of their lives. “Thank you and it’s Melina.”

Viper detected that bit of vanity in Melina's voice, it wasn't that hard to notice. "It could be worse. You could have been caught in an explosion when you were eight and have a side of your face scarred." After all these years, she still was affected by that. Some days were better than others and mostly she could quietly handle her disfigurement, but other days she wanted to break every mirror or reflection she saw.
"I am very well aware of what vikings thought regarding death and dying. They would often inflict wounds on themselves to trick Hel and avoid staying in her realm in case they were dying outside of battle." Viper frowned slightly as she watched Melina destroy the bodies, leaving no trace. Hopefully Aldrif would ask for prove of the deaths. If she did, she would blame the girl. "I wouldn't have survived here for long, and she knows it. Not unless I struck a deal with the frost giants." Or became a damn scavenger. Viper could have done that, but it would have been a hard, pointless existence if she had no means to escape this realm, hence the reason to ally herself with the brutes.
"Why is that any concern of yours? If she sent you, then you know that I am just human and that she is the ruler of all Asgard. I wouldn't stand a chance against her as I am," she answered truthfully. "My name is Viper, but I'm sure you already knew that." Hell, if she was a sorceress like Amora, she likely knew Viper's entire life story. "May I ask what you receive in return for retrieving me, or are you just being a good little soldier for Aldrif?" she asked, walking over to Lorelei and showing the dragon her hand before trying to pet her head. Viper liked snakes, along with a few other dangerous reptiles, and dragons were essentially just giant, dangerous reptiles, so the affinity was still there.

“I don’t get hurt that easily.” She might not get hurt but the sudden explosion would scare her at that age like it would any child. But she had a feeling Viper was speaking about things from her past it would explain her face.
“Of course she does she isn’t foolish. She did after all tell my sister to murder the Olympian gods single handedly.” she didn’t care if Viper knew about that what could the woman do anyways? Nothing that’s what. Melina snorted “And what type of deal would a human give to a Frost Giant?” She asked amused by what the woman might be able to give to the blue beasts that would keep her alive.
“Just wondering how foolish you are. Besides no one would stand with you everyone is too afraid of Aldrif after all she did murder her father to take the throne and probably her brother Thor too.” No she wasn’t trying to scare Viper but letting her know how pointless it would be to try anything against Aldrif. “Power.” She wasn’t going to go into any detail what that meant because it wasn’t Viper’s business anything she said wouldn’t matter the little human had nothing she wanted and never would.

"Of course you don't get hurt that easily. It seems that few people do these days," Viper commented. She noticed how the girl looked at her, especially where her eyes landed. The look Viper gave in return was a defiant one. "The result of war torn, Eastern Europe surgical techniques of the 1920's. Stop the bleeding, sew her up, and get her out of here. Now that you know the story, you can stop staring." Viper held her tongue on the threat that would have normally followed. It would have done her no good anyways. Melina's skin was flawless and her arrogance just added to the fact that she could likely not get wounded. The girl had probably never seen her own blood.
Viper cocked her head at the news regarding murdering the Olympians. "And your sister followed suit? Interesting. You seemed to defy authority at points, but your sibling obeys orders that sound like a suicide mission. Let me guess, she can't die or get hurt either?" She was an arrogant young woman, so sure in her position of power, it almost made Viper laugh. "I'd offer them what any abused person would gladly take. I'd offer revenge," she told her plainly.
"A word of advice, my dear? And this is not me trying to corrupt you or your thoughts, but, if she can so easily slay her own kin, what would stop her from killing you or your family just so she can stay in power or keep people in line? Ruling by fear means that the ruler must occasionally escalate things, else the illusion of power wears thin." Having said that, she turned back to the dragon, trying to figure out the best way to mount the beast in her current condition. "Now, may we please head back to Asgard? I would like to have my injuries looked at before they worsen.

“All about genes can’t blame me for what my parent’s gave me before I came out of the womb.” Melina replied before Viper told her little story about what happened to her face. “Learn to be nice I can make your life a hell of a lot harder with a thought.” she replied even though she wasn’t staring at her face that long.
Melina laughed at what Viper had said about her and her sister “Far from it little snake. My sister did it to keep Zeus and his kin from coming after us and no it’s not a suicide mission she’s done it before in our time.” Only then she did it without someone telling her to do it she just did. “Revenge on who? Odin is dead and Aldrif wasn’t around for any of his crap.” She couldn’t say anything on Thor because she had no idea where the thunder god was.
“Because my sister is the most dangerous person in the universe. At ten years of age my sister killed Ares the god of war at twelve I hunted down and abused Nidhogg until he trained me in draconic magic neither of us are pushovers.” She walked over to Lorelei getting her to bend down low enough for Viper to get on before getting on herself “We’ll return do hold on so you don’t go splat on the frozen ground below.” she said as Lorelei took to the air heading back to the portal that had been left open before they knew it they were back in Asgard and out of the cold.

Viper actually chuckled at that. "Why would I blame genetics? I've known more than a few people that would think you to be the pinnacle of evolution. I myself have proved difficult to kill occasionally. And my apologies if I offended you. I shall be politer here on out," she said with a soft smile. Viper had few allies, and she wasn't the best at making friends. "I'll need to repay you for saving my life once we get back to Asgard."
She listened with quiet interest as Melina explained the situation with her sister. "Powerful and brave. Your parents must be very proud of you both," she said with all sincerity. As for the topic of who to get revenge on, Viper just shrugged her shoulders. "Mob intelligence, my dear child. Rattle a group of people enough and they can be convinced that even the most innocent of people are responsible for your misfortune. History shows us just that. Individuals are smart, but mob mentality and peer pressure rule when there are many."
"I truly hope for your sake that you are not pushovers. The world needs strong leaders in thimes like this. Particularly ones that can ride dragons," she said claiming onto its back. Viper did as ordered and held on tight to Melina, keeping her eyes closed during the entirety of the ride. She was not afraid of heights, but she did not trust her head to handle any vertigo, so she played it safe. Soon she felt the change in temperature, warming herself up as she whispered a thank you to the blonde girl.
